Normally, getting my blood drawn is a bit of a stress-fest--I've got tiny veins--but she found the vein on the first try and had everything done in seconds with minuscule discomfort. Friendly, focused, and clearly skilled--this kind of precision and confidence made the whole process feel effortless. I have been having to come here quite frequently due to a recent miscarriage and the ladies here are amazing-always really kind and helpful. I had the male technician today and it was the worst experience i have ever had. He was so insensitive, rude and disgustingly rough. Right when i got into the room he slammed down the arm rest and dumped the materials right in front of me and didn't give me any time to get my arm ready. Then he couldn't find the vein and tied the band around my arm super tight so much that ut was pinching and really hurt. I told him that and he just told me that it was my fault. The rest he did really fast and rough and he obviously just didn't even care. He could tell i was upset. I honestly can't believe that someone like this can work here. I left in tears. I had a very upsetting experience at this Labcorp. There was a white female nurse with two noticeable moles on her face who was rude and unhelpful. I had an outstanding balance, but I clearly told her that I was willing to pay it immediately. Even so, she refused to draw my blood or help me find a solution. Her attitude made it feel like she simply wanted to leave work early and go home rather than help a patient. In my opinion, Labcorp management should seriously review her conduct and consider terminating her employment. There are many people who need this job and would treat patients with much more professionalism, patience, and care. On the other hand, there was an Indian female nurse who was very kind, compassionate, and helpful. A big shout-out to her. I sincerely hope Labcorp has more employees like her. read more

Had a horrible time here today. The first phlebotomist used an extremely big needle and couldn't get the blood out. The second phlebotomist used a smaller one, got the blood out, but he used too much and unnecessary force to do it, making me feel a lot of pain. And he was very clumsy, keeping knocking things like needles and urine sample bottles off the table. Now there are big bruises on my arm and it still feels painful, I believe usually a real skilled phlebotomist wouldn't have left it like this. read more

I had a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience at this LabCorp (De Anza, Cupertino). The person who checked me in seemed inexperienced and missed my vein during the blood draw. He twisted the needle inside my arm trying to "find" it, which caused sharp pain, and still no blood came out. When I refused a second attempt, he just walked away without explaining anything. He then brought in another staff member who was clearly impatient and rude. He told me to switch to my other arm, inserted the needle roughly, and drew four tubes of blood without saying anything--not even checking if I was okay. No explanation, no apology, no basic courtesy. He just walked away as soon as he finished. Since the visit, I've had bruising, itching, and pain at the draw site. This was one of the most unprofessional and careless experiences I've had during a simple blood draw. Patients deserve competent technique and respectful treatment--neither of which happened here. read more

Worst ever. Labcorp website said this location accepts drop ins. While other locations are appointment only. I drove 30 min to get there as I needed a test urgently and was told that sorry, they were short staffed today and would not take any walk ins. There were 2 technicians in there and there was nobody waiting. Grossly unacceptable service. read more

This Labcorp location in Cupertino exceeded my expectations. It's actually very hard to get an online appointment at most Labcorp locations. The available times are often 3-4 weeks out. This site opens at 7:00 AM. I arrived at 6:50 AM. One of the building entrances was still locked, but another door on the other side of the building was already open, so you can walk around the building to get in. Staff started checking people in around 7:10 AM once they were ready. We were second in line. Check-in was fast and well organized. They scanned our IDs and insurance cards electronically and confirmed our info. Very smooth. The receptionist was kind and considerate -- she let us wait inside instead of standing outside in the cold. The phlebotomist who drew our blood was excellent: extremely gentle and efficient. Honestly the best blood draw I've ever had, almost no pain at all. Overall, my experience today was extremely positive. Much better than I expected. I'm very satisfied. Tip: If you can't get an appointment, just arrive a little before 7:00 AM as a walk-in. We were done with everything very quickly. read more

I walked in for a blood test here - first time. The check-in process was easily done on their kiosk. While the facility was run-down (docking a star for that), the people working there were friendly and competent and the state of the facility wasn't an issue. The phlebotomist was very kind and careful after I informed her of my fear of needles. I appreciated that she asked a coworker to confirm the location of the vein so they could get it done right the first time. And they did! I wish I had caught her name, but I didn't. Gone here many times for routine lab work, came last month for a similar reason. With Covid protocols, you wait outside the lab and they will text or call you once you check in. Staff wears gloves, masks and allows only one patient inside at a time, which is good. Ample hand sanitizer everywhere. And your results come on an online portal on 4-5 days. I was here today at 2:40pm for a breath test, after checking in the lady at front desk called me for paperwork at 2:45pm and while filling up some info she told me this test requires nothing in mouth one hour prior, which I didn't know from my doctor. I told her I need to wait until 3:15pm for the test as I just had water half an hour ago. The lady then quickly ran her calculation and told me the test needs 15 mins and her paperwork needs another 2 mins, so it will take her 17 mins to finish my test and that would be 3:32pm, so literally 2 mins after the lab closes at 3:30pm, and she refused to take me for the test. "It's Friday, are you willing to take off from work 2 mins later on your Friday?" That's her response with her sly smile when I begged her for the second time... Labcorp needs some training on customer service at this location. Shoutout to ladies at Samaritan Dr. Los Gatos location, I was able to get my test done at 4:57pm there. They still allow patients to check in at 4:55pm and when I left the lab at 5pm the time they are supposed to close they are still working with the last two patients. read more

I have been to Labcorp Cupertino (Prospect and Town Center) for 15+ years, and always experienced its crispy operations, the staff (especially Sherry) are courteous and efficient. This is a healthcare facility, thus many controlled procedures been imposed there. As long as you well prepare the information of order, personal data, insurance, and understand its queue by appointments and walk-in, then you won't have any issues. read more

This is my usual place to go for routine blood work. In the past, their service was slow even with an appointment. During the pandemic, the appointment system became standard, and waiting time was reduced. The staff was very polite and gentle. I never had a bruise after blood work from this location. Recently, I needed to go for blood work, but this location was temporarily closed. I had to go to a different location. I hope this location stays open all the time. read more

I see that this location hasn't rec'd reviews in quite some time. I used to bring my mom here for bi-weekly INR blood testing and never had any issues. I was sent to Quest on Graves Ave. but they couldn't do the test the doctor had ordered, so I came here to find out if they did it. Not only were they able to do the test, but.... Good news!! If your insurance takes LabCorp - they accept orders written on another lab's form so you don't have to go BACK to your doctor's office for a different referral! They just call to confirm. It is in an older bldg., and small, but they are updating their look. My blood draw was painless and the ladies there were sooo nice. The LabCorp patient portal is user friendly with easily read lab results that can be pdf'd and printed out for another doctor's visit. read more

Incredibly slow and inefficient office with no process. The process for COVID right now is only one person is allowed in the lobby at a time while another is getting blood drawn. Any time I tried to enter the office the the lady at the desk would yell at me that only one person is allowed inside. Nowhere in the email does it say I needed to check in, so I continued waiting outside until another lady with a later appointment cut ahead of me got got her blood drawn before me. I brought this up to the office lady and she just yelled at me for not checking in. WTF?? Offered no apologies, and just told me to fill out some paperwork soon after. I asked her if my appointment is next, and she said "yes" in an exasperated tone. Instead that was a lie and she called someone else in instead. I've waited almost an hour here since my scheduled appointment. This is ridiculous. read more

Also no real COVID protection as other reviewers have mentioned--no temp scans, no questions on symptoms, sanitizer doesn't dispense hand sanitizer, just a sign posted outside that says only 1 person allowed at a time. read more

I can't imagine anybody giving this lab a bad review! My mother and I have been coming to this lab for many years and we've never had a bad experience. The office is small, dingy, and disorganized. I felt awkward and uncomfortable getting a medical procedure preformed here... I waited 30 minutes after my appointment. How awkward! There was NO privacy for the patients whatsoever. Every patient waiting could hear everything said anywhere in the tiny office. We could quite plainly hear even the goings on of the restroom! When they collected a urine sample the bathroom was RIGHT NEXT TO the waiting room... How uncomfortable. The lab tech had no respect for privacy, although he was not an unkind man and though it's difficult to blame him in such a small, dingy office, there wasn't even an attempt at discretion. They had to take a lot of very important blood samples, and they had a "order entry" error on the most important one, and didn't even preform he test in San Diego. They sent a notice to my doctor that they would contact me again about rescheduling an appointment, but I have yet to hear from them after 2 weeks. Granted, it is around the holidays, but this is MY LIFE. I have no choice but to use LabCorp, but I will NEVER return to this office if I can avoid it... read more

The El Camino Hospital location is more conveniently located for me but because of COVID I wanted to pick a location that potentially had less people coming though. They have a no waiting in the lobby policy, one person checking in at a time, hand sanitizer, alcohol wipes for computer check in, clean and dirty pen bins, and they disinfected the blood draw chair between patients. The two ladies who worked there were so kind and efficient. I would drive the extra couple miles to come here again. read more

It was horrible experience on 06/19/21 (Friday). it was hot weather, 94f in cupertino. I waited outside ( 2 feet from sun) 1:15pm-2:45pm, without being serviced. There also were around 5-7 persons waiting. Finally I had to leave to go to sunnyvale location where I got serviced immediately, , another lady left. Well, I have been waiting for 50 minutes and there are still more prescheduled people preempting me. Finally, after hopeless waiting, I decide to go to their site at Los Gatos. There is no one waiting and I finish my visit in 5 minutes. In addition, the Los Gatos site has two staff, one for paper work and the other for operation. They have better facilities too. read more

OMG. Run as far away from this place as you can. This is a shady, dingy corner off Prospect Road that has very unfriendly and aggressive staff. They first ask you to sign in and give them your credit card before they will even answer a simple question like whether they accept my insurance or not. When I showed them the doctors prescription and asked about the approximate out of pocket cost of the blood procedures, their best response was "First give us your credit card info, then we will draw blood, and then answer questions". I've been coming to this location for a few years now and never had the experience I had today. In the past, it wasn't great but acceptable. However today was the worst treatment by a staff that I've ever experienced. They changed the personnel to the rudest, most incompetent and laziest you may ever come across. If I could give them zero stars, I would. They were rude from the moment I walked in the door. They now have a new system to check in which I was totally unfamiliar with. Rather than being patient and using the moment to teach one how to use it, the staff rudely told me what I must do. It felt as though this person hates her job and does not want to be bothered. If that's the case, she ought to find another line of work. Or maybe she just hates working in general. A person who works in a medical lab should know that the people coming there are already stressed due to the fact that they need testing, and should have at least an once of compassion. On top of the poor initial treatment upon entering, she asked me if I had a work order. I had called this LabCorp office two days prior to make sure they received the electronic order from my doctor. They confirmed they had but couldn't tell me what was ordered. I asked if it was for two and she confirmed yes. When I went for the test 2 days later, this same woman tells me she has an order for only test. My wife verified what she told me over the phone because she heard our conversation on speaker. After that fiasco, I left the lab without being tested and will never go back to this or any other LabCorp. If this is the type of people they hire, it is an awfully poor reflection on the management and on how they run their business. I suggest that anyone needing lab work not use LabCorp. As an update to my prior review, I had called the LabCorp phone number (North Carolina) listed on their website and had asked to be connected with a regional manager to handle my complaint about this woman employee and how she treats people. I was told someone would call me back the next few days. It has now been a few weeks since my call and no response. As you can see, LabCorp does not care about their patients from the top on down. I will never do my business with this or any LabCorp lab in the future. read more
