The…read morefirst time was no wait at all, and the second time was only a 10 minute wait (although when I originally stopped by it was PACKED, so I put it off until my next visit.) Even with the crowds, at least they are efficient, with their take-a-number system and plenty of blood draw stations. Most importantly, the phlebotomists (I've never had the opportunity to use that word before...yay!) are polite and know what they are doing. I didn't feel a thing either time. (Which typically isn't the case when a woman tries to stick something in me. ;)

I'm not that lucky, so I'm gonna have to give them credit for being awesome. The facility is clean, well‑run, and everything is handled with professionalism. It's the kind of place where you feel taken care of, not rushed. If you need lab work done and want a team that's friendly, efficient, and reliable, this location is a solid choice.

The second phlebotomist used a smaller one, got the blood out, but he used too much and unnecessary force to do it, making me feel a lot of pain. And he was very clumsy, keeping knocking things like needles and urine sample bottles off the table. Now there are big bruises on my arm and it still feels painful, I believe usually a real skilled phlebotomist wouldn't have left it like this.

You can also wait in your car and they will let you know when it's your turn. There is a screen on the wall that indicates the queue. Once you check in, they process you fairly quickly and efficiently. I recall there's 2 exam rooms and a bathroom (for taking urine samples). The times we've come, it's fairly straight forward.

Obviously if you come during ur lunch break or after work there will be a wait when everyone wants to go. I actually wouldn't make an appt because they can be off schedule. I wish I hadn't gone pee in the morning because you really have to fill the whole cup. And don't drink a lot beforehand because that can dilute the test. Overall the staff were very nice so I would come here again.

So I rush and I arrive at the alternate site and they know nothing about this "diverted customer situation" so instead of honoring the appt, was treated as a walk in with 2hr wait!!! absolutely ridiculous and awful service. it is clear they have a captive audience of corporate customers and complaints like this is ignored and do absolutely minimum and take their merry time to clear the queue. I hope I NEVER have to deal with them EVER again.

You can expect to be in and out more quickly than at most other facilities, even if you do not have an appointment. She is also very friendly and empathetic. I have also been very happy with the minimal pain that I have felt when having blood drawn. The location is on the right as you drive north from the traffic light on Bascom as it crosses San Carlos / Stevens Creek Blvd. The location is a bit easy to miss if you are driving quickly but anyone should be able to find it without much trouble. I arrived for my appointment & found a note on the door that they had to close due to unforeseen circumstances. In this age of electronic communication, they certainly had several ways to contact their patients with appointments! Since I had been fasting, I went to another location & had to wait an hour and 1/2 to get the lab work done. This put me late to my next appointment for the day. I will not go back to this location on Graves, SanJose but will not be surprised if they cease to exist!

I tried calling this facility at least 10 times, but no one picks up the phone. I called my Doctor's office and they did not receive any results either. I then opened an online account, but no results there either. I think my blood was sent to a black hole, and I doubt if I ever will get results. So don't waste your time and don't take the risk of the overworked staff screwing up the blood draw. If they don't have time to pick up the phone, you can only imagine how overworked they are. I would even worry if they use clean needles and equipment or if they don't have time to wipe down any surfaces.

Using them today, as an outpatient, I found the staff to be professional and courteous. One thing…read moreto understand about this lab: you don't register for your lab test at the lab itself. The lab staff are focused on taking samples and running tests. You must "sign in" at the hospital main registration. On weekdays, this is near the front door of the hospital, not far at all from the lab, so it's convenient. On the weekends, however, the front registration desk is closed. Instead, you register for your lab test at the ER department. This is at the opposite end of the hospital down a very long corridor. If walking a distance is not a problem for you, it's a good bit of exercise. If you are mobility challenged in any way, and you are going to the lab on the weekend, you may want to do a two-step process. Drive to the ER, register, go back to your car and navigate on city streets to the front of the hospital, park again, and go get your lab work done.
