I never received my Lab Test results even after 12 days. I had to reschedule my Doctor appointment to a week later. I tried calling this facility at least 10 times, but no one picks up the phone. I called my Doctor's office and they did not receive any results either. I then opened an online account, but no results there either. I think my blood was sent to a black hole, and I doubt if I ever will get results. So don't waste your time and don't take the risk of the overworked staff screwing up the blood draw. If they don't have time to pick up the phone, you can only imagine how overworked they are. I would even worry if they use clean needles and equipment or if they don't have time to wipe down any surfaces. read more

I guess today was my lucky day. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. I only waited around five minutes without an appointment on a Thursday morning around 11 a.m. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Definitely the best Labcorp experience I've had so far. read more

The wait was over 2 hours as a walk in!! Definitely plan ahead. Also, I've heard the afternoon might be better for the wait. But the reason for the 5 star review was Jackie. I am an incredibly hard stick, like being stuck over 10 times and not getting blood, hard stick. Jackie got me in 1 quick stick in a comfortable spot!! Highly recommend if you also have difficult veins!! read more

Doesn't matter if you get there very early before 7:00 am; is always a line and not enough staff to attend the demand. Even though you do a self check in, the process still slow and take a long time to get to do the exam. Waiting room is very small and not enough chairs. Staff try to be nice and caring, but not fast enough to make the process agile. I think administrators can improve its services . read more

Awful experience. The 2 stars are for not having to wait, and for the nicer staff who took his time to explain the company policy to me. The first staff was very rushed, but the second tech was worse - she was downright rude, as if I owed her an apology for moving. When a third staff got involved and asked her what happened, I could hear her losing it and berating me loudly in the lobby. I've always preferred Labcorp because of the staff's expertise and professionalism, but this center seemed very understaffed, though that's no excuse for the appalling customer service. We made an appointment and reminded the staff. They still took a long time and called about 10 people before us. Asked to see someone in charge and there was no one. They tried to avoid giving a phone number. The number they gave had no answer. What is the point of making appointments if they allow walk in to go first? Other locations have been better. read more

To begin with parking can be a bit challenging depending on the time of the day though there are ample spots right behind in the Good Samaritan hospital parking that one can utilize as well. Usually is a quick in and out whether you have an appointment scheduled with them or not. I have always got my appointment ahead of time. One important note to keep in mind is the fact that they usually loose information that is sent to them about 6 months in advance and thus I have dinged them a star for that in my rating, which essentially means that you would be better off printing your blood work details that your doctor's office would have faced over to labcorp. Once in there you get through a quick checkin on the kiosk where your insurance details etc are verified after which your name flashes on the screen or if there is an error in the process you are directed to talk to the front desk folks . Once the appointment details have been ironed out and the payments done you are directed to the room where the well trained phlebotomist would draw the blood after verifying your details and all of this happens in a quick fashion. All in all a 5* though due to them not being able to retain records older than 6 months I had to ding them one. The service is fantastic and so are the folks that run the show. read more

Unbelievably unprofessional and PAINFUL blood test. It's been over 30 minutes and my arm still hurts. The woman who did my test was in an incredible rush. She shoved the needle into my arm and didnt hit a vein and then just as quickly moved it. I think she messed something up in my arm. The whole thing hurt terribly, and still hurts now. I even asked her to be careful and she didn't care. I have NEVER had such painful blood work in my life. Completely inhumane. TELL YOUR NURSES TO CARE ABOUT THE HUMANS THEY SERVE. NOT JUST RUSH. Speed isn't everything. This was awful. A horrible, horrible experience. I cannot believe that this happened to me. read more

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. I made the mistake of misunderstanding how on-demand tests work - you have to order them online first at RequestATest.com if your doctor hasn't ordered one for you. Then, you go to the lab with your lab code received via email. LabCorp was busy when I showed up and, despite my mistake, the front desk staff woman did not get frustrated or impatient with me. She very kindly wrote the website down on a piece of paper for me and told me it would take 5 minutes to get back on track for my visit. I really appreciated her kindness. read more

Phlebotomist Dhanshri was so quick at finding my vein I was amazed! I have a very deep veins posing a challenge to many phlebotomists. Many times they send me away because they poke me too many times. She was quick and painless. Very impressed! She works early mornings to early afternoons. read more

I made an appointment for this location because the Labcorp I usually go to was booked. They always take you at your appointment time. If there are people who do not have an appointment they have to wait. There were two other people who had appointments who were not being helped. All the while the receptionist and two other people working there were chatting it up! I made a comment after waiting at least fifteen minutes after my appointment time and found that the people with appointments were also not being seen. So I asked the person at the desk if there was an issue explaining my appointment time. She began berating me very aggressively as well as loudly. Finally she called someone to come to help me. So very unprofessional! I would not use this location ever again! They are unprofessional as well as inconsiderate. One of the other people who was waiting with an appointment had her severely autistic son waiting outside...when someone did speak to her they told her it wouldn't be much longer. The other person was a caretaker of an elderly woman. I don't think these employees give a rip that waiting for a long period of time is very difficult for some. No compassion either!!!! I will say the person who drew my blood was great! Too bad she's working in that sort of environment. read more

This location is a s***show. They accept appointments and walk-ins at the same rate of waiting. Scheduled an appointment for 11:00am. Checked in early. Ended up waiting 30 minutes past appointment time as they seemed to accept walk-ins with the same wait time as appointments. What's the point of making an appointment? I made an online reservation for my blood test at the Good Samaritan location. The check-in process was very easy & I was called right at my appointment time. The staff Dhanshri was very friendly & skillful. She was able to draw out my blood on her very first try even though I have very small veins. Will definitely go back. read more

I made an appointment and when I got there a day after I made the appointment they were closed. I live an hour from this location. They were supposed to be open until 5 on a Friday. My appointment was at 3:00 I was there at 2:45 and they had a sign on the door saying they were closed. No call at all so I didn't make the drive, no email, text nothing. I switched to the nearest location as a walk in and the lady was absolutely livid I was a walk in 30 minutes before they closed and their lobby was completely empty. I had to get the test done asap as part of my job. So I had no choice but to figure it out that day, plus I would've made an hour drive for nothing if I just turned around. This was the first time ever coming to get bloodwork done. I made a appointment a day before and had a handful of time options to choose from. After initially making an appointment, a confirmation was immediately sent to my email. As I arrived to the office, you just self check in after you enter the door and your name will be called. I was called right away and paid out of pocket for my visit. I wish I got his name but a tall older gentleman that was wearing glasses helped me out. He was honestly soooo nice and talkative!! I was literally in and out of the office within 5 mins. I have always been scared of needles but honestly, I didn't even feel a pinch when he did my bloodwork. 5 stars for the excellent customer service, definitely would recommend coming here and making an appointment beforehand because after I left, there was literally a line out the door. read more

Phlebotomist Ami is amazing. Good technique. Appropriate and friendly rapport. My experience reflects the Saturday walk-in process. Their system is questionable. You check in at an electronic kiosk but then to check in at the desk they just shout out your name. If you're not close enough to the door, you're out of luck. One gal at the desk seemed unhappy with life in general (the one calling out names to check in), the others were just trying their best. Either way, expect to spend a couple of hours there. Weird detail: if you need to give a urine sample, be prepared to have no reasonable way to deal with your sample. The toilet is like seven or eight feet from the toilet unless you utilize the toilet paper holder. Having had three babies I can say I'm pretty good at giving routine samples. But here? It was tough. And the results were clear in the floor. I think even if they mopped it twice a day, it wouldn't help. You gotta be some sort of magician to not make any sort of mess. I'm sorry if this is an overshare... but it is what it is. They should have some sort of table or surface closer to the toilet. I can't lie. Other than that, the online process to get results is very on par with other services. Download the app. Enjoy reading your results. No complaints there. My star rating is for the questionable/poor intake process and really weird bathroom setup at the Samaritan Drive location. read more

** review for Samaritan drive location ** WORST STAFF ATTITUDE. I have been to this location twice now and both times the people at the reception were so rude and snappy. It took me two visits to make sense of it coz the first time I ignored it. I understand they have a very tough job right now and I truly appreciate their service but being rude and bitchy is unacceptable. After the first time, I thought maybe the person is having a bad day and it's ok. But the second time - the same person and another female person - both were so snappy and their responses were outright RUDE, forget making you feel comfortable or at ease. It ruined my mood and my entire day because who wants to experience such behavior first thing in the morning which it's not even warranted. Made me angry, which in turn ruined my mood for the day and at work. Not worth it at all. I hope the management reads this and talks to their staff! I will try another location and see if it's a local problem it a company wide issue. NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN. read more

I do not like blood tests; however, M and Lucy were terrific. Used an infant needle, were extremely thorough and gentle, and made me feel comfortable. In addition, I am not sure of her name-maybe, Mary,- was superb. She was at the front door when you came in. Although it was crowded, everyone was helpful, patient, and very nice. A+ read more

Came in at 4:27 pm today as a walk in and checked in using my drivers license and insurance card on their kiosk. The tech helped me and was cheerful. This was so much appreciated as I had just driven 20 minutes to walk-in at Quest Labs (next door). Quest refused to accept me as walk in despite having no other patients and my arriving at 4:03. They said no walk in after 4 despite their website advertising closing time of 4:30 and walk ins welcome I recommend giving LapCorp a try if you are a walk in - Quest did not provide good service. I've been to the Good Samaritan location twice, and each time there were major unsafe and unprofessional issues that contributed to my negative review. 1) The collection room, in which they store lab samples, is left unlocked and open as patients walked, unescorted, through the hall to complete their various exams in the exam rooms and bathroom. This is already an unsafe practice at the lab, but the Good Samaritan location is seemingly not staffed well enough for anyone to be paying attention to the lab collection room while leaving the door open. 2) Patients are required to handwrite their own information on their urine collection bottles, so if one struggles with handwriting, their sample may become lost. (My sample was not lost, but I was significantly worried it would be.) Furthermore, there is no secure urine sample collection. Patients are asked to deposit their urine samples in a basket placed in the hallway where all patients walk past. 3) Walk-ins are permitted no matter if the appointment calendar is full or if there are already a significant number of walk-ins currently waiting. There is, therefore, no way to know, though, how long you might have to wait as a walk-in. You may also have to wait a long time even with an appointment due to their disorganized system of admitting patients. 4) There is no notification while scheduling appointments online that if you need an exam that requires a wait in between the beginning and end of the exam (like the glucose exams for pregnant people), the lab will not perform your exam if the end of the exam would fall after their closing time (5pm at the Good Samaritan location). 5) The armrests on the chairs used for blood collection are so significantly worn that the are taped together. read more

Beverly at the phlebotomist that help me was amazing! I have really small tricky veins so I asked her to take it from my wrest. She didn't question me which was great. She couldn't find a butterfly, so she looked at both arms very carefully and pulled the blood from my right arm perfectly. Most people don't even consider the butterfly and just take it from my arm anyway and end up digging around with the needle. I felt like she really cared and she ended up doing a great job. I like the office. It was clean. Easy electronic check in and they are very through with the paper work. I would definitely go back to this location, especially for Beverly who was really good!!!! read more
