I've been to the labcorp twice now for routine blood tests and I go after lunchtime when they are less crowded. There hasn't been a wait both times I went. The staff were very meticulous and respectful both times. I felt reasonably comfortable even though I don't like needles. I've heard some locations can get hectic and I know both Quest and Labcorp don't always treat their employees the best since the turnover is high but at least this location is decent! read more

She's two for two now :) Original review: Never had blood work before and was nervous as can be. Check in was simple and staff was friendly. Pathetic!!! Spent too long trying to find this place. Old address printed in forms from Doctor we're wrong. Went to address found on internet; WRONG! The yelp address is actually correct. This place was pretty straight forward. The waiting room was a little small but functional. I was greeted right away and although I was 10 mins late, they honored my appointment status versus someone that walked in. I really appreciated that and my anxiety of being late was lowered. The staff member that did my blood draw was nice, quick, and efficient. There is nothing more that you can ask for when getting lab work. She was able to talk to me and keep a conversation going so I was distracted. She had over 28 years of experience and as a medical professional myself, I hope to be as excellent as her when drawing blood. The only tech I trust there is the nice Asian lady. She listens to me and is gentle and seems to know what she's doing. The man is very unfriendly and brutal and the other heavy-set lady isn't very gentle or doesn't listen either. I ask for baby needle, as my veins are small. Both times they hurt my veins, scraped the sides of the veins. And now, those veins are gone. I don't have many left. read more

You will be treated like a number, not as a human. They simply don't care and actually seem to be quite miserable in having to even deal with you at all. After reading multiple reviews, it appears as though the staff here is well known to be rude & nasty (in particular, someone named "Ean"). I had to call his supervisor (Farah Frost @ 408.355.4661) to file a formal complaint. I went today to have my daughters blood drawn and will NEVER return !! There is no human present, but rather you check in on an ipad kiosk, which does take a bit of time. I didnt happen to have a mask (mandatory at this office) but no one was around to ask for one so I continued at the kiosk. Then suddenly a man in a white lab coat appears & shoves a box of masks in my face and sarcastically says, "HERE YA GO !" but I took one and kindly said, "thank you". After our computer information went through the man who shoved the box of masks in my face (Ean) called me over to the front desk. He didn't even look at me while he did some computer work and seemed VERY irritated to even have to be talking to me. After a few moments, a woman appeared and called my daughters name outloud and followed with "Number 4". I looked at her quizzically ? What do you mean "number 4" ? She didnt even look up and said, "ROOM 4 AT THE END OF THE HALL". She took my daughter in, drew her blood and made minimal effort to speak to either of us, but seemed pleasant. After we were done, I went to Ean to ask about a LabCorp order I had for another provider outside my HMO. This irritated him. He sighed & abruptly pointed to the kiosk and said, "you'll have to check in again." He called me over again and I gave him the lab order requisition and asked how much to have these labs drawn here. He was NOT happy to do this. He told me it would be $850 and then I asked him if my insurance would cover any of it and that threw him over the edge. He got irate with me and said, "THATS NOT WHAT YOU ASKED ME. YOU ASKED ME HOW MUCH IT WOULD BE OUT OF POCKET AND THATS WHAT I TOLD YOU !!" I calmly asked him if my insurance provider would cover any of it while he continued talking right over me. So, thats when I asked him why he was being so rude. He completely ignored me and talked right over me. I repeated myself. He then let me have it. "MA'AM, I GAVE YOU WHAT YOU ASKED FOR AND NOW YOU'RE ASKING ME FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT!" I asked him why he was being so rude and told him that its pretty clear he is miserable at his job & he sarcastically said, "I'm just here doing the best I can under the circumstances". I told him to nevermind and we'll go somewhere else & asked him for my lab slip back. He put it up on the desk with another very sarcastic "HERE YA GO !!" and as I turned to leave he felt it necessary to add another obviously sarcastic "HAVE A NICE DAY !", to which I replied, "Piss off". I was steaming as I left so I decided to go back in and have some words with him about his behavior and why he felt it was ok to behave in such a manner. I asked for his managers number and for his name. I asked him again why he thinks its ok to be this rude to people. He told me that he was in the military and he can be mistaken to be be abrupt, but that's "just the way I am". I appealed to him and told him that I was just trying to get some labs drawn and only asked him a simple question. He then finally apologized for his behavior and...that seemed sincere. read more

Booked my appt online a week ahead of time since I had a fasting blood draw. It was easy to book and the confirmation codes were all sent to me on email making the check-in process super smooth. I checked in easy when I got there and my appt was ontime. My draw went super well with an experienced, friendly and professional Phlebotomist. Amazing! read more

I have been to many labcorps and had good experience until i went to the samaritan drive labcorp.. Wait time is over an hour .. They are known for their pediatric lab and the ones who were working said they cudnt find our 13 month old son's vien and was trying to scare him a lot.. They said they can poke and see and keep poking till they get the vein whicg is insane.. We did not even want to try looking at the lack of confidence they had to do their job.. We were then refered by our doc to the good samaritan hospital lab who took our sons blood in no matter of time. I would never recommend this lab for pediatric labwork.. read more

Went in to have routine lab work done. Waited almost 2 hours after making an appointment.....not a problem....these folks from reception desk to phlebotomist are amazing. Not only are they polite, courteous and under an extreme amount of pressure from rude, selfish, uncaring patients. Just read some of the comments and you'll see who they are. Their online precheck system was down...not their fault, lots of patients waiting...not their fault. It's not "me,me,me folks" a little more maturity and understanding is needed from you. The staff here are awesome. Stopped by my doctor's office around 4:00 and this LabCorp location happened to be right next door. I didn't need an appointment, and the staff was very friendly despite my arriving right before they were supposed to close. The woman at the front desk took my insurance information and in less than a minute, I was in the back getting my blood drawn. I wish all medical visits were expeditious like this! read more

I have no complaints. The phlebotomists have always been nice, they pay attention to cleanliness, always ask about latex allergy (which I don't have, but I appreciate since some people can be very sensitive to), when I say "I have one really good vein and there it is" pointing it out, they are happy to use that without poking around. I've never had to wait any longer than 5-10 minutes to be seen, I've never made an appointment, I've never had a billing issue, which is saying a LOT for as much as I've had to come here. read more

I had a good experience at this location... I had a great nurse ( i dont remember her name, but she was African American, short black hair & is pregnant) who was funny and we talked through the entire process. She was very helpful and made me feel comfortable. When it was time to draw my blood it was so quick and painless I didn't even realize she had already done it until she sail "hold this right here" to apply pressure so she could get a tape to cover it. The reason I give it 3 stars is because the place is extremely small, they can only do 1 patient at a time, and in the same small room they had a old school microwave and a bottle of katchup... leading me to believe people eat in there?? LabCorp should really think about making it a little bit more professional and make it a bit more comfortable. But as for my visit it was a good one, I was in and out. I went around 3pm, the nurse told me it usually get really busy in the morning. So just a heads up if you go to this location. read more

I went in as a walk-in around 1pm, and fortunately, there was no one in the waiting area. I signed in, gave my papers, and was in the chair in less than 5 minutes. I have good veins and nurses usually don't have a problem with finding them so I didn't have any problems with the draw. The nurse herself was nice, smiling and had a very calming attitude. She did a great job, I didn't feel the needle at all! (I'm really sorry I didn't get her name, everything was over so fast.) I'm still in for the wait on the results, so I can not review on that aspect, but after seeing other reviews, I felt the need to leave a positive comment, because in my experience, this place deserves it. They dont accept Blue Shield PPO. Dont buy their bogus line about billing. Wife was sent here by our doctor. Thankfully I was able to check to see. They guy gave her some canned answer about billing not answering if they accepted BSPPO. When we caught it before the tests the guy smirked and said "Oh you are going to Quest." He knew Quest was Blue Shield PPO and he wasnt but was willing to screw us if given the chance. I cant believe people would do these things. Horrible people work for horrible supervisors. Extremely rude fellow on the phone. I think his name was Ian. He chastised me for not knowing if I needed to fast and for not calling the doctors office first. And why did the doctor's office not tell me if I need to fast, blah, blah blah. I hope he just woke up on the wrong side of the bed and that he's not always this disagreeable. Still, it was a bad experience and he should not be on the phone with such a bad attitude. I told him I wanted to talk to someone else and I disconnected the call. The new location is so much nicer than the other one in the same complex in the one story side... BUT OMG I will never return. They have combined offices with another Labcorp in the same complex and the people that drew my blood will never touch me again!! First young guy poked around and finally gave up thank God and then the next woman didn't warm up my veins (yeah I have bad veins from chemo and told them so and suggested they warm up my arm first!!) and she got one tube out and then she said she blew the vain. She wasn't gentle putting in the butterfly needle either. So then she had to find another spot and she did use a heated water glove on the next try but when she put in that needle she shoved it in there with such force I thought I was going to cry. My hand is swollen and black and blue. NEVER AGAIN will I go there. read more

Wen to this LabCorp today after taking my son to another location where they tried to find his vein, poking him numerous times until they told us we would have better luck at this location. So glad they told us to come here instead. The staff were great. They took their time with my son, made sure he wasn't nervous and warmed his arm before drawing blood. This place deserves negative stars. Still here with my mom after an hour. They've sat her in the chair as though they re ready to draw her but on the phone with the doctors office because they need to verify something. Note: They verified three other lab for three other patients while we were waiting. One of the most disorganized, consistently short staffed places that really don't care if elderly patients have to wait for hours just to get their labs drawn. I'd stay away from here unless its an emergency and you have a few hours to spare. read more

This place is fine. I came here on a Saturday to do some labwork (+1 star for weekend hours!). The facility itself is a little small for the crowd that was waiting here on a Saturday morning. They closed both locations near good san and put a new one here in that far back building with the grass and flag pole. So much better. This facility used to be excellent; professional and fast. However, I was at this location this past week, and the front desk staff was lacking in professionalism and kindness toward the patients. I arrived at 9am for a fasting blood draw. I was one of the last patients to sign in on the current clip board page. A few people came in after me, and I sat waiting hearing the two at the desk complain to one another about what a bad day it would be. They were loud about HIPPA information, and referred to a patient ahead of me as a "Pedi Patient coming through". As patients were called ahead of me, I heard one of clerks say to the other that she didn't finish checking in the first page of patients the sign in sheet. Then I was called up. I waited for almost an hour and finally went to the window to politely ask how much longer it might be since I had an appointment to be at afterwards. She replied there would be 1 ahead of me, and I would be next, but then her coworker chimed in that someone just came in with an appointment, so make that 2 ahead of me now. I told her I saw many people go in who arrived after I did. She said, "Yeah, they all have appointments." I said, "Oh, I thought maybe it was because you had missed checking me on the first page when I arrived." Regardless, it was taking 15- 20 minutes per patient to be drawn once called back by the tech. I couldn't wait any longer as it was due to my appointment. I took my paperwork back and went to the location on Winchester and Hamilton. Very poilite and professional woman at the desk there who spoke discretely to those who approached the counter. Got me in and out in less than 20 minutes dispite a few ahead of me and only 1 lab tech working. read more
