Having read some of the negative reviews here before going in, I braced myself for a less-than-ideal experience. I was very pleasantly surprised, however, from start to finish. I called in advance, to find out whether the test I was going to be taking required fasting. The person who answered the phone was polite and helpful, even if she didn't immediately understand my question. Placing the order for the test online (and remitting payment) was easy. The check-in process at the office also went smoothly, with a wait time that was probably less than 30 seconds. Hue was both pleasant and professional. The facilities impressed us as very clean and the room where my blood was drawn had an absolutely gorgeous view! The very next morning, I was notified of the results by email. Fortunately for me, everything proved to be normal. I consider the fee to be reasonable and was pleased with the ample parking around the medical building. On the basis of my own recent experience, I would highly recommend LabCorp on Blossom Hill. TIP: If at all possible, make an appointment and pay in advance online, as that will greatly reduce wait time once you get there. Of course, it should help to arrive on time. read more

Why make an appointment when they don't honor them? This place has no customer service - if your doctor ask for Labcorp - don't use this location unless you like waiting up to one hour past your appointment time. If you are fasting - skip this place. Had to be tested within a window of time based on taking a medicine and that lapsed. No organization and prioritizing their lunch but have appts over lunch time. Super messed up way to treat people. Correct 2 rooms 2 women drawing blood. The woman that helped me seemed very aggressive and rude. Got there 15 minutes early took a total of 45 minutes. And yes there were people backed up and out in the hallway. The sign on the wall says the sanitize after each patient,I didn't even see either one of them wash their hands let alone sanitize the room before or after blood was drawn? read more

The lower-class receptionists and technicians attended the bottom technical schools or high schools. Therefore, these ignorant people are the slowest, the dumbest, the most uneducated, and the rudest people. I had to wait one hour because they were so slow. This is a great place to go get your blood drawn. The staff was friendly and on time. Hue, who drew my blood, was excellent. She was friendly and professional, and I did not even feel the shot. She was gentle and efficient. I highly recommend LabCorp at this location. read more

I've come to this location twice now and enjoyed my experience. I've once gone with an appointment and most recently without. I showed up right when they opened at 7 without an appointment and was out within 20 minutes. There was no wait. If you don't have an appointment, I highly recommend coming right when they open! I'm someone who's prone to feeling faint after getting blood work done and they always make sure to lay me down while they take the samples and have me relax a little bit before leaving. I always come at 10am, with no appointment. I'm in and out in 10 minutes! Recently the room was packed at this time-I asked how long it would be, the front desk said, 20 minutes (that's all?!). Sure enough, I was seen within that time, and out, in 20 minutes. Additionally they tell you you can wait in your car downstairs after checking into the kiosk and they will text you but I've never felt the need. The front desk is always staffed too. Maybe it's packed right when they open-730-for folks on their way to work and/ or fasting... So if you are flexible show up later. read more

First thing, DO NOT COME IF YOU DON'T HAVE AN APPOINTMENT. It is located in the samaritan complex on third floor with no signs anywhere. Go all the way back and enter through any door. Go to 3 floor and then turn left. You can see people waiting outside. Get inside and check in with your DL, even though you have an appointment. Then wait for your name to be called. I have waited 2 hours after check in and it is so frustrating. I went around 7:50 and came out by 10. So, please plan accordingly. The ladies at the front are doing their best it is just the procedure they are following. If manager sees this, please change how you are handling check ins or else hire more people. read more

I'm flabbergasted by the majority of reviews of this Labcorp location. I spent a lot of time reading through the previous reviews and was fairly nervous coming here. As you can imagine, it's not a choice when it comes to this service so below I will share my experience. I am happy to say that I had an awesome experience at the Labcorp on Blossom Hill Road. The building had ample parking and there are elevators slightly down the hall when you enter. Go to level 3. When you enter, check into the iPad kiosk on the right hand side. Have your ID and insurance card ready. Both will need to be scanned, front & back. Once you're checked in, have a seat and an employee will yell out your name as well as receive a text message on your phone that it is your turn. I showed up at around 8:40am and there was literally no one else there. My turn was called up less than a minute after I checked in. Many other reviewers posted waiting time of hours; either I was very lucky in my timing or no one was getting blood work today. The associate that helped me was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I didn't get her name; older Asian lady. She was great and very professional. This type of service requires patience. Remember, many retail outlets are short on staff. That isn't the fault of the employees working there. Be nice and courteous. Show up early. You'll get what you need done. Patience and friendliness go a long ways. I hope I don't need any blood work done any time soon, but if I do, I'll be coming to this location! read more

This is the LabCorp that I've been going to for the past 6 months due to some health issues. Honestly, LabCorp has never been a place that I've been excited to go to and have never had a quick trip. Compared to other LabCorps, most of the staff is somewhat friendly. A few things to note: This is on the third floor. The times posted online and they will be in office, but if you get here 30 seconds after they close and they will not let you in. I think that's fair, just be aware of it! Do not come here during lunch - you will be here for at least 1.5-2 hours. The best times to come are right when they open at 7:00 AM or right before they close. Make sure to check in and the "check in here" desk. When you wait for so long, you see a lot of people come and go. So many people don't pay attention to the sign and just go to the front desk- that really annoys them! There is no point in making an appointment. It is first come first serve based on when you checked in. The appointment does literally nothing. There is a sign that says to go to the front desk if you've waited for over 30 minutes. Don't do it - they get annoyed and you will almost always wait for over 30 minutes at this location. read more

Not only did I wait two hours, but they did not send my results!! I paid $80 and they're impossible to get a hold of.

"Sorry for waiting." "We're short staffed." I've been hearing that for the past 18 months. And it seems like LabCorp is doing nothing to alleviate this staffing issue. This poor old lady had been fasting for 19 hours, really 16 hours but they had her wait for almost 3 hours. When they finally called her up, they asked her if she wanted to come back another day. They have no receptionist. The phlebotomist doubles up as the receptionist so there's no one to answer any questions. As soon as you get someone at the front desk all the people waiting just swarms up to the front to ask questions. All this happening while this poor lady is waiting to get her blood drawn. 2 drawing rooms and 3 staff. I don't understand what exactly causes these holdups. In between patients, I just see these staff walking about at a slow pace, doing nothing, when they could be helping patients. As soon as it hits lunch time for one of them, they're like "Sorry. Can't help you. Someone else will help you." 15 minutes later, no one. I'd hate to work here, having to deal with pissed off, agitated patients because of how slow the staff here goes about their work. My mom is an office manager at an office that does exactly what LabCorps does. Her office is efficient and gets patients in and out and processes 200+ patients daily. LabCorps? Probably 30 a day. I'm writing this review as I'm waiting. It's been over an hour. I have probably seen one person at the front desk for no more than 4 minutes. Update to my situation. I had to take a test that doesn't require a phlebotomist - a stool test. They gave me a vial and a bag and told me I can come back and drop it off. I've taken the test before so I know I need more materials than that. I asked for clarification if I needed a container to store my literal crap and collect the sample or can I collect it after it's in the toilet bowl, mixed with all the water and other potential contaminants. They replied, "No. You can't mix with the water. You need to hold it in this paper." "Well. Are you going to give me this paper?" "We ran out." Seriously what the hell with these half assed instructions. If I didn't know better and asked, I'd probably have to take the test again and pay for it out of pocket. read more

- They missed two of my tests. The doctor had ordered them and these were there on my lab slip too but I never got the results for these. - The phlebotomist was so rough that two weeks after my tests, I still have pain at the puncture site. - I noticed blood spilled in one of the small baskets where they keep the tubes. To me, this is a biological hazard. The phlebotomist had been touching all these surfaces including the basket with her gloves on. And she used the same filthy gloves to palpate my vein. Unfortunately, I only noticed that blood only after my blood was drawn. Otherwise, I would've stopped the phlebotomist then and there and walked out. - Waited for 1 hour and 15 mins inspite of having an appointment and reaching there on time. This place needs to be inspected and shut down for its unsanitary conditions and it's unskilled phlebotomists. read more

This has gotta be the worst! First off, I didn't like the self service checkin. You use your driver's license and medical card to checkin, but after you checkin, there's no indication it was successful, nor where you are in the queue. I waited over an hour with 2 people ahead of me. One person was taken before me, only to find he had an appointment. They were about to take another person before me, before I asked what the deal was. They corrected that problem, and asked that person to continue waiting. When I finally got into a room, the Phlebotomist did a good job with the rest of the process. Looks like the Phlebotomists double as the reception, since they do check In as well as blood draws. This really makes things move very slowly, especially when people have lots of insurance questions. One phlebotomist spent 15 minutes explaining an insurance question to a patient. Wow. read more

Labcorp on Blossom hill road is a good place to go but yesterday Nov. 30th they had different staff there, she must of been a student because the needle hurt going in and when I took off the cotton ball there was blood about the size of a nickle and I'm not real happy about it..this is the second time this has happened to me they need to hire people who know what their doing.. i never have this problem when i go to the VA Clinic..also..I'm wondering if anyone ever reads these reviews.. read more

This location is awful. One person working while 3 appointments backed up waiting over an hour. 5 walk ins also waiting and not a single acknowledgement or update for all who were waiting. Then, after waiting an hour past appointment time, they have no record of tests to be performed even though the doctors office confirmed it was sent over. I went for a blood work, the person taking the blood clearly did not know how to perform her job. She was asking for every minor detail from her senior when eventually she inserted the needle into my vein with a prick. The result, blood did not flow through, she kept the needle there and called her senior by this time the damage was done. Where it was supposed to be a dot, I got a painful needle cut first time in my 36 years. After which they switched to another arm and drew the blood out and just before assisting her senior she forgot to wear her gloves. Luckily she was stopped and reminded of her careless work. I was at this LabCorps, like most people, for a blood draw to get some tests ran. There is a small waiting room with a few seats and walk ins are accepted. I stopped by on a Monday around 11ish and there was only one other person waiting. They have a easy check in kiosk that will scan your ID and your insurance card. It took less than 10 minutes for them to get me in for the blood draw. I don't know how to rate a phlebotomist but I'd say the ease that they can find the vein, how quickly they can insert the needle and how effective they are at drawing enough blood without having to stick you multiple times. The blood draw was quick and relatively painless. She had good blood draw chairside manner and kept some light conversation going. I felt like the tubes she was using were huge but honestly it didn't take that long. I think one key to helping them out is drinking enough water to keep your veins from hiding too much. Overall a painless experience and I'd say they are efficient and quick. I didn't see any unsanitary conditions which is a major key. read more

It is tough to rate a place to draw your blood, especially I'm not the biggest fan of blood or needles (I wouldn't freak out, but if I can avoid it, I would). I came here on Friday around 8:40am, which I assume it is their busy hour, after 10 hours of fasting, I know I wanted to get my blood drawn as early as I can, so I can enjoy a hearty meal, I assume everyone else have the same thought process. There were 3 other people waiting, I signed in, provided my insurance card and doctor's note, waited for about 5~6 mins and they called my name. The nurse got my blood drawn in few mins and I was on my way. The total time from arriving here and get back in my car took about 20 mins. I'm giving this one star more than I otherwise would because of the very nice woman who actually administered my test - the front desk staff is friendly (ish) but not helpful, at all. I made an appointment, arrived 5 min early to an empty lobby area with 2 employees at the desk talking to each other. I interrupted them and they pointed me to an iPad to check in and went back to chatting. I sit and wait and wait and finally about 15 min after my appt time the lab tech comes out looking surprised that there was someone waiting. She called me up and apologized and said she didn't know I was waiting; the receptionist had never stopped her chat so i assume they didn't bother to let anyone know I was there. The test was fine (Emp. pre hire drug screen- THE ONLY reason I was at that location), I leave. Find out a couple days later I'd left my ID . I tried to call and speak to a live person to see if they had it but gave up and drove there (30 min each way). They had my ID. And a stack of other IDs. They also had my name obviously and my contact info. Did they call? No. Irritating because they hold your id while you're there, it's very easy to walk out and not remember to ask for it (they didn't offer to me when I was leaving ). Stay away from this location. The 2 ladies working there should be at the flea market with all due respect to people at the flea market. Went there fasting no one at the front desk. Self check in is not responding. The older lady comes from break or her walk and met with the delivery vendor to sign for him. Poor guy was waiting for her too. then she started taking to him for more 10 minutes asking about his life and family and all none related stories. And the other lady wanted to go on break and she started telling to go. Your pay check is not good enough Go take a break and relax People are waiting in the hallway outside. This place is great! Bravo for painless blood draws and competent employees! I needed to get some blood work done, so I went here on the recommendation of my doctor and fellow Yelpers. I was able to schedule an appointment online, and even though I got there late, I was greeted warmly and they accommodated me without any issues or rudeness. I was in and out in about 10 minutes, and the only reason it took that long is because I was a first time patient and they had to do some paperwork. The lady I worked with was professional, kind and, most importantly, good at her job! I barely felt a thing when she drew my blood and I had a nice time chatting with her. Just got back and I am baffled as to peoples expectations and give this place a 1 star review. I wish my life was as perfect as theirs is. Everyone in that office, and I have been going there, over the last three years almost every quarter has been wonderful. A few times I had appointments and had to wait, but good lord, this is not a computerized operation. This is dealing with humans, many of which are a bit afraid of the needle so not everyone is finished in three minutes, and sometime it simply takes time to get a patient completed. Blood...four vials of it. SO gross. Apparently because that's what the doctor ordered! It appears that getting bloodwork is a PITA, but this LabCorp location makes it seamless. Book your appointment online -- early morning ones are recommended as most bloodwork requires twelve hours of fasting. This location is so on point, I was taken in right after I arrived and was out in less than fifteen minutes (included pee time!). The phlebotimist was genuinely nice, asking if I had fasted and reminded me that I was allowed to drink water (oops!). She was quick in finding my vein and the pain was minimal (just a pinch). Everyone here was professional and friendly and the office was clean and orderly. I removed the cotton pad and bandage a few hours later and there was just a small red dot. Later that same day, I looked at my arm and pretty much no bruising! Highly recommended! Oh, and pack a banana with you. I was almost delirious by the time I got out. I gave the receptionist my car insurance card instead of my medical one...yeaaaaa. read more

LABCORP 393 Blossom Hill Road, 3rd floor SJ Parking Lot in front and in back of building. Spots always available when we have arrived for lab appointments, scheduled or unscheduled. LABCORP suite is located on the third floor which is both accessible via an elevator or staircase. The building is quiet, well ventilated and lit up inside. LABCORP reception/registration has both a 'self-check-in kiosk' which requires using the screen, your insurance card plus official photo ID. There is also 'old school' check in with the staff member(s) at the front counter. Note these staff also double as phlebotomists so one or none may be at the counter at certain times. Tuyet and Sheila although very busy, have helped with tracking down a lab order in their fax machine inbound tray or via their online server. Both are quiet polite and congenial despite being understaffed. LAPCORP waiting room has 7 chairs as I recall which on different visits are all taken or not. Today, with 12-14 folks ahead of us, people elected to sit on the ground in the hallway or standup outside the suite. Tuyet and Sheila called names of patients which can easily be heard inside and outside the front suite. LAPBCORP services for blood draws were done painlessly, efficiently, and quickly by both Sheila and Tuyet. It is clear that these women know how to do their work as phlebotomists. Four stars used today because of the foregoing. Fifth star missing as this location is truly understaffed which is puzzling give the volume of patients: The delay even for pre-scheduled appointments or registered (first come first serve) patients went 30-45-60minutes past their appointed time. read more

Been sing Lab Corp for years on a drop in basis for routine apoiintments. Went to two different locations in the afternoon and found them closed. Phone got an answering machine with an outdated message from July 4 holiday. Left messages and got no callback. Finally found a telephone message at one lab that explained the situation and gave the web page for appointment. Earliest appointment was a week after I need it. I understand that Lab Corp is experiencing tremendous impact from Covid19, but I'm not impressed with the way they handled it. Will post again if the appointment works. read more

I've never had to wait very long here, despite sometimes coming as a walk-in. It's the closest Labcorp to us, so it's usually our go-to for lab work. I love that they were also very kind and gentle with my young daughter. read more

Glad I found this place! Even with a packed waiting room I was in and out in 20 minutes. One stab and done for my tricky veins, such a relief! They do have a student every two weeks, you can ask for an employee, which you should if you don't have easy veins.
