I had come to this locations years ago and knew better not to ever come here however my son unknowingly made an appointment. Biggest problem here besides the wait is hideous....they don't properly call people who are waiting. I witness their staff scold people to wait outside due to they limit of only 4-5 people at a time in the waiting area. However I then witness the lady behind the counter call out a name (not getting out of her seat) when there are way more people waiting outside. There is no speaker. The door is kept closed so how are these people who have been waiting 1-2 hours gonna hear there names when lazy staff doesn't get out ur of their seat? Then when you finally go inside to ask, they tell you "well, we called your name and you didn't come yo the window so now you have to reschedule." Absolute garage!!! read more

Grateful for the ease of getting bloodwork done here. The staff were all very friendly. Sign-in for 1st time here only took a minute. The wait for lab work was a little over an hour (I did not make an appointment). The phlebotomist was great. I asked her if she could use the small (butterfly?) Needle and she did. No problem, no pain.. whew Besides the long wait the only other thing I didn't like is that they put 2 people in each room to draw blood.. felt like an invasion of my privacy, but maybe that's just me? read more

Biggest joke in the world. Showed up at 8:15 for a random drug test and the line was out of the door so I came back at 11. Closed 1 hour for lunch. Came back again at 1:30 and they stop doing random testing at 1:30. How are they allowed to be in business? This place is a complete joke. The ladies at the front desk were very patient and helpful with me getting it E mailed, ( not an easy task for me) Then the lady who did my actual blood work, Ms Martha . UPDATE: third time here, got here at 6:35 am NO appointment just a walk in. Was out at 6:48 am. 2nd time was also about a 5-10 min wait. Only thing I can agree on is the girls up front are not people friendly. Say good morning or acknowledge someone when they walk in. Not everyone knows what to do when going in. Other than that the techs have always been nice. I had a great experience this morning, Made an appointment 2 days ago for 7:00 am lab work. Email states to be there 15 minutes prior. Showed at 6:45 am. Only one other person in the waiting room. Got called in for urine and bloodWork right away. Nurse named Janet (I believe) and she was sweet and quick. Unfortunately everything you're reading about this LabCorp location in Chino is accurate and it's unacceptable. It's still horrible as of April 2024. The person's name is Joy (how ironic that's her name) she is the front lady at the counter, that primarily holds the "negativity key" to the horrendous customer service allowed at this facility. Now maybe this is a learned behavior or the owners of this establishment have no care in the world, because it's one of the only places in town and feel entitled to treat EVERY PERSON without respect. Either way, there must be a change at this location! Joy is worth replacing with another kiosk! I'll briefly share my experience; long story very short I checked in at the kiosk at 10am and it was very crowded. Kiosk said unable to check in, go to desk after everything was scanned/entered. I dropped the lab paperwork into the tray and said hello, I have a question as the tablet said check in was unsuccessful. "Joy" was clearly not joyful, but a lady by the name of Cassandra interjected (clearly knows Joy is a problem) but for whatever reason, everyone allows her crappy customer service and behavior. Cassandra responded and said politely, what's your name? Oh ok, you're checked in, we have it down. So I go wait in my car for 30 mins, now. No text etc. Come back in, see "Joy", confirm if she needs anything. She says nope! 30 mins later, calls out my name and finally asks for insurance card! I was purposefully skipped (God's plan!) and was the very last person up until about 11:40am and then spoke to office staff who is clearly annoyed by her and trying to defend the situation. I couldn't let this go unsaid... I don't want this happening to anyone else!! As my husband and son HAVE to use this place too! REPLACE the problem at your front desk and do better please!! What is the point of making appointment and filing in your information online if the lab won't honor it? Very bad in term of infection control. No one practicing social distancing, everyon sit close to each other in the waiting room. You just need one active COVID 19 and the rest of the people in the lab will get infected. First of all, they cancelled my appointment on the day of my appointment, saying that I could be seen at the same time the next day to get my lab works done. Apparently not. I was in/out in less than 5 minutes! If you want that same experience - MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! When I booked online, I did have to book about two weeks out but it was worth it. Otherwise, coming in as a walk-in, you'll be waiting a lot longer I'm sure. With an appointment, you can check in on your phone & wait in your car until you're called inside or you can check in in the lobby & wait. They have a few terminals inside to do a self check in. There's someone there to assist you if needed as well and the lady that assisted me was super nice & helpful! Normally don't write reviews, but this room only allows for about 3 - 5 people in the waiting room if you're following 6ft social distancing protocol. The entire was was lined up with people shoulder-to-shoulder. There were easily 20-30 people in that room and impossible to distance as you entered. 7 people waiting just outside, half of those too close to the door way. So they keep everyone lined up outside and don't allow them to check in so it can "appear" as though they don't have long wait times. According to Labcorp, they have a policy where you can wait where your comfortable, such as your car. However, you are forbidden to check in until they have a chair for you to sit in inside the office. I was forced to remain standing with all the other patients after having a total knee replacement with no room for social distancing. First time ever walking in to have bloodwork without an appointment. I typically have bloodwork done at a different lab, and due to a mix-up in paperwork at my physician's office, my lab request was sent to Lab Corp, unbeknownst to me. Once I found this out, I did not have time to make an appointment, due to my next appointment with my physician where results are needed, so I bravely walked in! Yes, the walk-in line is quite long, the waiting room is so full, it spills out to the walkway; however, the wait was just as anticipated. Check-in was very easy with the kiosk, and I was told 35-40 minutes, and I thought it would be longer, but it was 40 minutes, as I was told. The location is clean and efficiently run, considering how busy this location is. Now, the real gem: RITA! Rita is a phenomenal phlebotomist and a genuinely caring person. She was professional and reviewed all information from multiple requests I needed completed from multiple physician's offices. She ensured all was completed professionally and was also friendly while continuing to check on me throughout the process (many, many vials to go through, not fun). I was able to rest after the blood draw as I was required to fast for an extended period and she had water ready. She anticipated my needs and went above and beyond. Check in system was convenient, but after checking in, long time waiting...they said the waiting time was 1-1.5 hours. There were only 4 chairs at waiting area. A lot of elders needed to stand outside and wait. After reading the reviews and mulling over whether to come to the Chino location or to drive further I decided to give them a chance. I arrived at 6:45 am as a walk in for a ton of labs and was expecting to wait at least an hour. I put the orders in the basket, did the computer check in, waited 10 minutes (I timed it) and was texted to come in. They were very professional and thorough, the sweet lady even chatted with me while she worked since I'm afraid of needles. I was done in no time and it barely even pinched to have at least 10 vials of blood drawn. Not sure what all the other reviews are about, but this was literally the quickest and easiest lab visit ever read more

My mom came into the chino location and was asked to sign into the tablets, she is an elderly woman who does not speak English and does not know how to use electronic devices. She asked the people in the front office (closest to the window) for help, they did not help and told her to sign in and read it. A worker (female)that was out in the lobby helping others was just standing there my mom then decided to ask for her help she rolled her eyes and asked her once again to sign into the tablet , my mom proceeded to tell her she does not know how to use the device the worker (female) then decided to giggle and look at her other coworkers , they refused to talk Spanish and continued to speak to her in English although they were helping other Spanish patients. My dad came in to try to help but they said he was not able to help her so he asked if they can help her once again ignored her and continued to embarrass her and belittle her for not being able to communicate in English, after putting her through all the bullying , discrimination and harassment they still did not help her log in she had to ask someone else there for help (patient) . I am very disappointed with the discrimination at this location almost 90 % of the population in that area is Spanish speaking so for a big company to deny and belittle someone for not speaking language is beyond me. This has left my mom traumatized to even ask for any help. I hope the staff gets some training on how to treat a patient the correct way. WORST LOCATION AND STAFF ! So I bring my 10 year old to have routine bloodwork done that had been ordered by her pediatrician. We have no appt, facility opens at 6:30 am so we expect to wait..nbd. We finally get up to the front and the gal guarding the door (possibly named Jeanette?) asks me for my paperwork. Fast forward, we get called to the reception window, another rude gal asks me for paperwork, I explain again...rude reaction. We finally get called in, kid sits down and politely asks, yet ANOTHER rude gal, if she should take her sweater off. She gets a cold, "YES", and that's it. She did nothing to attempt to ease my child into the situation, (even though my kid isn't a weenie)just wraps her arm and gets to work. ZERO bedside manner. I understand that their job is Level 10 chaos sometimes. With Covid and our new normal, emotions are high and tolerance is low. I work and get paid to serve the public education community, which is no walk in the park. However, I keep my personal emotions out of it. Even though I get fed up and tired of parents bugging and asking the same questions over and over, THAT IS MY JOB!!! I take pride in my the field that puts food on my table and a roof over my head. The health field, like the education field, is to HELP people. The goal should be to do so with a smile on your face because we don't know what people are going through. They are visiting your facility because, in many cases, their life depends on it. This place has horrible customer service. I gave one star because zero stars wasn't an option. I arrived at allowed time to take a urine drug test for nursing school and as I'm checking in the company locks the door, I place my order paper in basket and then the receptionist tells me we're closed for lunch! REALLY!! There were at least 6 lab techs at the reception window and not one said were closing for lunch until after I checked in!!! Poor customer service at the front desk,and not cool. So I go back to give my urine and finally someone with excellent service, her name is Victoria, just awesome and personable with a great spirit. She was so professional, maybe the others should learn from her. With that being said I feel coming from a professional background that Lab Corp should have staggering lunches so there never closed. I don't know what is with all these negative reviews. Both times I've come here (no appointment) on a Saturday and Monday, I've had differing customer service attitudes. However, both times were sufficient enough for my taste, the second time seemed a bit friendlier. I was in and out in an acceptable amount of time. If you're coming here with no appointment, don't expect to be in and out in 15 minutes unless you're lucky. First time took 40 minutes. I had to supply blood to 5 tubes though, so I was sitting there for a little bit. Had a nice chat with the phlebotomist about responsibilities in life and growing up. I also asked if she could check on my urine sample, because I felt I did not provide enough. She checked it and told me I was fine. Overall, very nice people. You have to understand that working in this kind of field, you deal with unpleasant patients all the time. Sometimes, you're just fed up with it. So don't take any bad attitude you come across in these kind of facilities personally. That's how I see it. read more
