The staff at this LabCorp location is friendly. However, the shipping and carrier service couldn't be more terrible. I had to do urine drug test for 3 times because each time the transit time of my sample was too long (outside of the normal 24hours window), and my sample became untestable. One time it took them 5 days to transit my sample into the lab for testing!! Because of this I had to go through 3 testings and so many communication with my employer while feeling helpless for something out of my control, all because of their mistakes and not mine. I wouldn't trust their services. read more

Terrible experience! I booked my appointment with 2 weeks advance as I knew I would need STAT bloodwork for that day. I was booked with meetings entire day so that slot was only time to work for me. My window came and 30 minutes later I get a call saying they had to cancel!! No alternative options. Just said next day which was not an option. So unprofessional! It left me scrambling and in panic. I asked for a call back from manager. They NEVER called. NOT a reliable company. I would go elsewhere if you need a company to rely on with their appointments. read more

I have come here for years and really like the team here. Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes but they always do their best to process the orders. I especially like Andres. My only feedback is that it can take a very long time to get results. I hope this improves. read more

Went to this location and had the misfortune of running into Andres. Customer experience was the worst experience I've ever had in life. I walked into an empty waiting room. When Andres finally appears he helps a woman standing ahead of me and once completed immediately begins yelling at me to have a seat - as if he were speaking to a small child. He further adds that he "already told me to check in and sit down" which clearly wasn't the case since I had JUST walked in. I chose to forget about it and take a seat. He goes back to the back and then calls me up to tell me my check in didn't go through to which I responded that I already knew which was why I was waiting to see someone. I told him I had the labcorp invoice sheet and proceeded to show him, but, of course, Andres knows everything so proceeds to tell me he doesn't need it and that he'll just need my ID. He said that rather huffily and after tells me to sit back down. 10 minutes later... He calls me BACK to the desk only to ask me for the Labcorp paperwork I had offered him earlier. This guy is some piece of work and I feel bad for anyone that has to deal with his piss poor attitude. I just left and went to the other location. Much better service. No way I was going to let that angry human draw blood from me. read more

I was in and out in 15 minutes! The staff was friendly and the facility was clean. With a 9 am appointment, there was 1 person ahead of me so the wait was nearly non-existent. As far as drug screens go, my experience at LabCorp was a positive one! read more

Came in on a rainy Saturday morning to take some blood tests needed for a wellness program at my husband's work. The associate JESSE (spelling?) was AWESOME. Very helpful, accommodating and was a pro with the needle sticks. I have invisible veins so he took his time finding the right spot rather than poking around... Smooth. I can't really say I've "experienced better" for a drug-pee-testing facility (I really have no comparisons), but this place only gets 2 stars in my book. 1 star is for the location, 1 star is for how quick they were. However, that's where the good ends. The guy that administered my test (read: filled out paperwork and labeled my pee cup) was nice enough, but the facility was soooooo grooooossssss. Yes, I realize, people PEE here, like, a lot. But seriously, you can't wipe up the bathroom for the next person going in? Someone else's pee was all up on the seat, no toilet paper (Sure, dudes don't need this to do a pee test, but guess who does? Chicks, that's who.), and man did that bathroom stink like someone had just peed all over the walls instead of in their little cup. I made an appointment online, but please note that, if you do this, it doesn't really matter. Appointment or not, it's first-come, first-serve on the little sign-in sheet. I recommend if you have to come here, to still make an appointment, but choose the one right after lunch so you're first on the sign-in sheet. Also, I recommend nose plugs, hand sanitizer and for the ladies to stash some Kleenex in their pockets. Feel free to thank me later. read more

I am a glass half full kind of gal but when it comes to blood tests or urine samples, that is when I get a little more picky. So, I do go onto YELP to read what the past experiences have been like just to see if that will help me choose the right site. The website was a bit difficult to navigate and so calling in to the number underneath the address leads to an 800 number. They were able to help. My experience was so efficient for the following reasons: I biked there, so i didn't worry about traffic or parking, there was only one woman in front of me and so I was in and out within 5 minutes, the bathrooms were spotless and the technician was very professional. He wished me a good day even! Now, you don't find many people who do that these days! read more

I took my mother here for some blood tests. She never misses an opportunity to complain but she raved about her experience. She's had some bad experience with people digging around for her vein. Not so with Andres - he was quick and completely painless, just amazing, professional and friendly. No wait at all with an appointment. read more

I came in with my service dog for a routine testing without an appointment and was seen immediately. I did have an appointment but it was meaningless! One hour later and I am still waiting. Apparently lab corps rotates its employees and than provides no access to their systems. Myself and several others had to wait for over an hour while they remedied the situation. I had to come back here for lab tests. They were polite. I had an appointment but showed up a few minutes early, and I had the good fortune of being taken early with no wait. I still have bad veins, but the tech was able to find one and got it on the first try. They also had very clean facility, including the bathroom. read more

I have been to this locations a few times as this is lab that my company prefers. Each time has been nothing but a positive experience. The staff is great! Funny/professional/and great at what they do. In the past, I have had bad experiences with someone trying to find my vein for blood work. The guys at Labcorp have always had success on the first try. I have never waited more than 10 minutes to see the tech. And I was always a walk in patient. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience while taking care of something that isn't really that fun to do. I would highly recommend this laboratory testing site. read more

Worst services ever!! I've called all the Chicago locations and can not get a hold of a single person. I've left multiple voicemail's and have not had one person call me back and when i was finally able to talk with someone on my 30th attempt..... the lady was rude and hung said she couldn't help me and to call a different location before I could say another word she hung up on me.. read more

Who ever was on duty on Saturday October 18th, 2014 at 233 E. Erie Street in Chicago needs to be gone from that position! This person is a danger and disgrace to society and from reading other peoples reviews across online, LabCorp needs some federal reviews of the lack of management, qualified personnel and even basic service standards. This person behaved and appeared like fresh out of jail or belonging to one, never mind being a qualified professional to inject a needle in a human's body. I was in Chicago on business from NY that weekend and had to have blood drawn by no later then 8am on that day and was told by my doctor's office I can get it at any Labcorp done without any issues. Being that the location was opening at 8am I was there on the dot. The lady arrived right after me, dragging her feet with eyes barely open and ready to kill anything that was in her way. She eyed me condescendingly, after I said good morning and asked her friendly if she is from Labcorp. She could not say good morning or acknowledge the fact that a person was entering her work space which should have been open and ready for business 8am. She started throwing her Dunkin Doughnut breakfast on the desk banging on light and computer switches, huffing and puffing. It appeared to me I was at the very wrong place in a very wrong time. When exactly did people become so entitled to their positions and their attitudes that the patient is there for a nuisance rather then requesting their service for which they are getting dollars. I am a business professional and my husband is a physician and runs two medical practices himself. I know that such attitude would never be tolerated at my position and the service level my company provides nor would I tolerate any employee with this attitude. Yet, people seem to claim their entitlements to hold positions not understanding their profession - conducting themselves in an authoritarian, dangerous and inept manner. Does anyone screen these people before they get employed or do they receive any basic training as to what their job title encompasses? Needless to say, loooong 15 minutes later, being absolutely ignored with banging huffing and puffing I did not dare to even utter a word out of fear that this ladies body mass will just smash me against the wall with nobody else around on a sixth floor. I simply got up and left. In shock. I looked up the next Quest Lab location and had everything done 40 minutes later with friendly and caring faces. Writing this and reading about other patients similar experiences at Labcorp gets some of the frustration out but we seem a long way from change and sadly similar attitudes across the board are to be dealt with on daily basis, especially in federal positions. I truly hope that our voices will be heard towards any change in the right direction. Will keep submitting claims for now. read more
