We've been coming to this place for a long time, and I always forget to leave a review. We're pretty much regulars now! The service is always amazing, and the food is top-notch. My favorites are the pescado zarandeado and the filete a la diabla, but honestly, most of the dishes are really good. I highly recommend this place--you won't regret it!

Chilaquiles were so good and tacos were full of meat. Prices are average but well worth it. Recommend

I've been visiting La Veranda for almost 10 years now just for the enchiladas. They are literally the best I've ever had.

We came here after my daughter's graduation from Concorde career college , and the food was AMAZING!!! Quality food at affordable prices. I had a shrimp empanada which was soooo good !! I also had the cielo mar y Tierra molcajete which was the best tasting molcajete I ever had !! It's definitely for 2 or 3 people or take it home for the next day :) comes with rice and beans and tortillas echas a mano . I will be back for sure ! The staff is super friendly thank you !

Omg never been here and surprised to find such an amazing place. The strawberry margarita that I got was the best drink I've ever had at a restaurant. Service was great as well. Timing was perfect, don't mind waiting as long as food is good and def was not disappointed. Environment was great. Went in on Sunday at 1pm.

My family that came from out of country loves Mexican food and we decided to try out this place that we found. They had lots of parking, location was kind of questionable but as we went inside the restaurant I felt like we were in a whole different country. The music was so festive and their interior was great all of their servers were so nice! They had us seated served the complimentary salsa and chips, which were fire, kinda spicy but still fire. The only thing it took awhile for the food to get ready BUT when the food came out, the serving portions were huge. And when I took the first bite of my fajita fundidas, I could not stop taking more bites. It was so good! One order probably served about 3 people, I feel full for days. Definitely would come back here. Absolutely love this place!

First Time Here And It Was So Delicious! I Had The Hard Shell Tacos Plate And It Did Not Disappoint! The Food Came Out Quick And Tasted Very Fresh. I Would Highly Recommend This Place. 10/10 In My Book!! Can't Wait To Go Back.

Carne asada wet burrito w/ beans & rice on the side

I've been coming here for a couple of years & the food slaps. It's for sure a little pricey, but the quality of the food is what always shuts me up. I absolutely love the red sauce they use for the wet burritos. I think it might be the same one for the enchiladas, but it's just a great sauce ( none of that watered-down sauce). The beans they make are also goooood, and the service is always great. I do think sometimes the food takes a bit to come out, but when it finally hits the table, all my complaints fly out the door. Overall, I think this place has solid mexican food. Sometimes, the bill is a little high, but for the big meal, it's worth every penny

First Time Back here in over a decade. We enjoyed our meal immensely and my Mom back home loved the left over rice and chicken. The shrimp empenadas were to die for. Lastly their salsa is different has an fresh pieces of mint we think. Thank you.

Came here for the first time and it was nice and spacious inside with good Spanish music and good service. The salsa and tortillas were good. I got the fish and garlic with rice and beans and I really enjoyed it. It was tasty. Also got to try the Marlyn tacos and they were fantastic. I would definitely come here again for some good food and music

MOLCAJETE
Anselmo G.

The food is excellent. Sometimes the service can be spotty as they are often understaffed and unorganized. If you are ever craving some authentic mexican this place has it. Try the molcajetes. They are huge and can easily feed 3 to 4. Ask for the salsa on the side as sometimes it is overpoweringly spicy. The mariscos are good as well. The menu is huge, with alot of variety. Definitely a must try,

It's newly remodeled that's a plus. The $69.99 Parillada was enough to feed 6 of us and it's good. The flan and ceviche was bland.

It took 5-10 minutes just to get menus and another 15 minutes before our server, Vicky, came to take our order. We ordered everything at once to avoid delays, yet we were never served the usual chips and salsa. The biggest issue was the wait time and lack of attention. While we were sitting there, multiple tables that arrived after us were seated, ordered, ate, and left before we even received our food. Meanwhile, other servers were clearly attentive and efficient with their tables. Our food took about 40 minutes, arrived cold, and came out separately. After that, our server barely checked on us--we had to ask other staff for help. No one came to see how things were or to bring the check. We ended up going to the counter ourselves to pay, and there was no apology at all. This was our second visit with the same server and the same experience. We gave the restaurant a second chance, but unfortunately that was a mistake. We spent over $150, and the level of service did not match that at all. The food itself has good flavor, but the slow and inattentive service completely ruins the experience. Sadly, we won't be returning.

After I used it and we decided we didn't want anything, the cashier told us we had to buy something because I used the restroom. If that's their policy, it should be communicated before someone uses the restroom, not afterward. The way it was handled felt rude and unnecessary. Instead of politely explaining the rule, the cashier demanded and insisted we had to purchase something, even though we were genuinely considering ordering when we came in. Respect goes both ways, and the interaction left us feeling unwelcome. Clear communication and basic courtesy would've prevented this situation.

The service is great. We got chips and salsa before our meal. I ordered the 3 taco plate with shredded beef and a large horchata. The food was 7/10, the meat being tasty but dominant. My wife ordered the carne asada fries. She gave the food a 8/10, but that was before she had diarrhea later that night. Parking is strip mall parking. The menu is broad enough, some house specials and specialties, tortas, and so on. My usual audition meal is a carne asada burrito, wet style if available. The wait wasn't too long after ordering, which was appreciated. However, My request for both red and green sauces didn't register on the cook's end. I am not sure exactly what the cream sauce slathered on top was, but fortunately it wasn't 100% sour cream or I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the food. As such, I'll be sure to mention no sauce if there is another time. I really liked the beans and rice inside. The carne asada didn't seem overly unique in the seasoning department, nor did the red sauce assuage my taste buds. Nonetheless, it was a decent size and I wasn't hungry afterwards for a long time. Overall, it's probably the place I'd need to visit 3-4 more times and try different things. For now I'd say 3.25 Stars
