My family that came from out of country loves Mexican food and we decided to try out this place that we found. They had lots of parking, location was kind of questionable but as we went inside the restaurant I felt like we were in a whole different country. The music was so festive and their interior was great all of their servers were so nice! They had us seated served the complimentary salsa and chips, which were fire, kinda spicy but still fire. The only thing it took awhile for the food to get ready BUT when the food came out, the serving portions were huge. And when I took the first bite of my fajita fundidas, I could not stop taking more bites. It was so good! One order probably served about 3 people, I feel full for days. I've been coming here for a couple of years & the food slaps. It's for sure a little pricey, but the quality of the food is what always shuts me up. I absolutely love the red sauce they use for the wet burritos. I think it might be the same one for the enchiladas, but it's just a great sauce ( none of that watered-down sauce). The beans they make are also goooood, and the service is always great. I do think sometimes the food takes a bit to come out, but when it finally hits the table, all my complaints fly out the door. Overall, I think this place has solid mexican food. Sometimes, the bill is a little high, but for the big meal, it's worth every penny read more

Visited this marisco spot at around 3pm on a Saturday afternoon (02/21/21). As soon as we arrived we noticed that the parking situation is pretty bad. Small parking spots and most cars their were parked pretty crooked. I moved to 2 different spots because cars were parked pretty awkward. When we got to the door, there was a small line and after checking in with the nice hostess she informed us there was a small 30 min wait. After about 20 minutes we were escorted in and seated. The floor near our table was a bit messy but we didn't see it a reason to complain about it. One of the nice servers took our orders and had our food and drinks at our table in about 20 minutes. The food was delicious and the free chips and salsa also were warm and crunchy. Unfortunately she only checked up on us once and never returned. After quite sometime a different server came to check up on us and we were ready for the check. This process lasted the longest, about 35-40 minutes of waiting for a server to acknowledge us. This seems to be a reoccurring problem based on many reviews. After our meal we walked out to the parking lot only to notice another patron parked EXTREMELY close to our car. To the point I had to squeeze myself into my own vehicle. Parking again seems to be a major issue here. Overall the experience was just below average. It's really good. And the portions are quite large. The location is 3 of 5. I'm happy it is close to work and it has cameras around the perimeter of the building. The service is a 4 of 5. I came in working, so I didn't mind that for of the couple of hours I was there that I only saw my waitress 4 times. I'm low maintenance. And, she never had me thirsty or lacking chips. Things I'd modify: The appetizers shouldn't cost as much as or more than entrees. Maybe modify the portions of apps to allow for a variance in pricing. I wished the ceviche was an appetizer offering in addition to (or rather than) getting the ceviche lunch special/offering. I also wished there were electrical outlets for customers. So, the restaurant is not in an area of much traffic. But, there is a community college right down the street. If there were outlets, SBVC employees could have a working lunch here, and students could too :) read more

Came here for my friends birthday dinner, it was 5 of us and only ONE of my friends brought in her own dinner bc she doesn't eat the type of food that is served here but wanted to come support our friends birthday and the waitress told her she cant eat her food in there. She continued to finish her food real quick, everything else was fine up until we we're done eating i asked for a to go cup for my shrimp cocktail and waited 15 minutes and rang the little bell on the table and she still didn't bring me it all while attending the surrounding customers and completely avoiding our table. 20 minutes later we didnt want to wait anymore so i had to take my cocktail cup to the front and ask for a to go cup again. Friendly staff, good service, but when it doesn't take them any longer to prepare your food than your margarita, that is the first hint it's microwaved from frozen. Second clue is when the cheese in your relleno isn't melted. If you like canned margarita mix and frozen food on a hot plate, I've got the spot for you. Great service, meh food. read more
