My wife and I had dinner here last night. Wow! Arguably the best meal of our lives. Easy to rate this meal. Ambience - 5/5: The setting was one of the nicest I've ever seen. Top floor of 6-story hotel, with sweeping views of Rome. We were right by the window but the restaurant is small enough that there is no bad seat in the house. Beautifully anointed inside as well. About halfway through our meal, the windows of the "terrace" were opened with an electric mechanism that raised and slanted the entire windowpane. Service - 5/5: Everyone from the runners to waiters to the sommelier were very friendly and helpful throughout the entire almost ~3 hour experience. Food - 5/5: we opted for the longer of the two available tasting menus, that featured 8 set courses, but when you include the various amuse-bouche dishes, it was closer to 15! Too many items to describe each one in detail but the food here was as awesome as they looked. Each one was thoughtfully presented with custom-made dishes that highlighted what was being served (e.g. urchin shaped glass with glass spikes!). The highlights for me were the scallops, the eel, and the braised beef. I will say that the menu was seafood centric, 4 of the 5 protein courses were seafood, so if one is not a fan of seafood, this tasting menu may not be for you. I can't believe I'm about to write this, but for an experience and food like this, 210 euros per person seemed very reasonable. I paired the meal with a 1997 super Tuscan wine that was "reasonably" priced as well. The eyebrow raising items on the bill were the cocktails we had, which were 42 and 28 euros respectively, pretty steep by any measure. My wife and I have now been to ~6-7 Michelin rated restaurants, and both of us agreed this one rises above them all. This will be a meal we will not soon forget. Unbelieveable!

What an amazing view, fantastic food and atmosphere it was at La Terrazza! Our waiter, Chiro, was excellent! and we want to thank him so much to make our experience extra special! He is such a kind person!!! Anyway, we had "harmony" tasting menu (8 courses) and also wine tasting which was 285 euro. The presentation of food at this restaurant just amazed us.. My fiance and I have been to many michelin starred restaurants all around the world, but La Terrazza can be in top 5 for sure! All the course impressed us, but we absolutely loved "Gran Riserva risotto with Franciacorta wine, oyster and rocket (+caviar!!!!)." Oyster was so fresh, yet tender. I will not forget about its taste ever. Braised beef was a bit chewy, so maybe 8/10 if I have to rate. However, I hate to give minus points, but if I have to, I will say there were 2 issues we had. First, the manager came to our table before we even ordered and told us that we can only reserve the table until 9:15pm when our reservation was at 7pm (we got there around 7:05pm). if you are serving 8 courses and also 8+glasses of wine for wine tasting, you do not ask customers to leave in 2 hours. I have never been to the restaurants that ask customers to chug the wine and leave quickly.. that was a big minus, we could have ordered simpler course menu, but hey... we are in Rome. let us enjoy our trip.. by the time we finished our 4th menu, it was already 9:00pm. enough said. Also, their majority wine was white.. we expected to have at least half white wine and half red wine. They even had white wine with meat course which I thought was very odd... but whatever, food was great. we enjoyed it. Despite of a few negative experiences we had, I will still recommend this place to anyone who is going to travel to Rome for fooooood! you will not regret spending money at this restaurant!

Perfect for celebrations and getting spoilt. There's no question about the class in dining here. You feel it right when you step in Hotel Eden's lobby to take the elevator up to the restaurant. You should be willing to spend an average of €350/$400. Cheapest item I saw on the menu was €130. We did our research to find this place and I'll say it was worth every dime. The chef kept our taste buds guessing. Definitely a highlight of our Europe trip. View is beautiful and service is excellent. They deserve their Michelin star and more. In my experience, most times presentation and taste don't mix. We did something like this in Dubai - on a cruise with beautiful views and nicely presented food but the food tasted weird and we were still hungry by the end of the night! This wasn't the case at La Terrazza! Everrryyythiinngg looked AND tasted so good. We were also very full by the end of the night. Be sure to checkout the photos! We got the harmony which is 8 courses but it felt something around 12 courses. The food just kept flowing! Even desert came in 3 courses. If you're looking for a fancy dining experience and to get a good bang for your buck, don't hesitate to book a reservation at La Terrazza!

Beautiful view of Rome and the sunset.

Hotel Eden was our favorite everything in Rome including the breakfast buffet, Il Giardino Restaurant and Bar and of course, La Terrazza. La Terazza is where art, food, and amazing service come together. The staff aims to please and the presentation was shear entertainment. After watching three seasons of Chef's Table on Netflix, it was thrill to live the dream. Not that the restaurant was on the series but they could be.

What an experience! It was my first real "tasting" and it was amazing. Even the items I'd never typically order were unbelievable. It was an 8 course tasting with some extra "snacks". It's not cheap but worth for the service, food and overall atmosphere of the restaurant. Thank you, La Terrazza! Unforgettable!

Food, service, cleanliness and the overall experience was worth every euro we spent ! But a HUGE plus was the service from Daniel! He went above and beyond in detail and anticipated all our needs. I really hope the management team sees this and gives him credit where it's due! I'm so happy my husband and I came here to ring in our first wedding anniversary on our last night in Rome !

Top left (and my favorite): risotto with Gorgonzola cheese, beets, and pomegranate seeds mmm

Haute, elegant, and exquisite. This place merits every single star, and Michelin thought the same thing when it awarded it one star in November 2012. Everything from the panorama - one of the most beautiful I've seen after living here the majority of my life - to the classy ambience to the extremely attentive staff to the very last morsel of gourmet food is breathtaking. This place is perfect for special occassions, such as winning the lottery... it breaks bank, but you're paying for the experience of a lifetime. I dined here with my family and it will be a dining experience I'll never forget! Complimenti al Executive Chef Fabio Ciervo, abbiamo passato una bellissima serata che non dimenticherò mai. Grazie!

Amazing dinner! Spectacular views. Book reservations for best seating. We had the tasting menu for 140€ each. So delicious. Excellent service. When I commented that I loved the Amalfi Lemon Cream dessert, they brought me 2 more servings without charging us. Maybe they felt bad that a couple with a crying baby was sitting next to us. Who knows? Not a kid-friendly restaurant. That couple was nuts. Very romantic. Excellent service. Fantastic food.

Located on Via Giovanni Antonelli, in the Parioli area, it is immediately upon entry that guests are drawn in by neutral colors and wood, the warmth exuded by staff expected from a Michelin-starred Restaurant and service particularly attentive on Monday evening where only three other tables were occupied over the course of 140-minutes. Deliberately paced, and referencing everything from Chef Caceres' Colombian childhood to time in Japan, diners are asked to decide between tasting menu and a la carte after Water is poured, the latter chosen out of desire for specific items and beginning with benign Wheat Crisps followed by far more interesting housemade Bread with a blended spread of Honey Butter and Olive Oil. Dabbling in modernism, an iSi charger undoubtedly involved in Potato Foam with Octopus and Onions to whet palates, course one featured Metamorfosi's signature "Carbonara Egg 65°" riffing Rome's signature dish via immersion circulator with suspended Chicharrones while Scallop Ceviche approached a South American spice profile using Calabrian Sausage in place of Aji Peppers. Whimsical again with Primi, Caceres' S-foglia replacing Pasta with Broccoli surrounding Pork bathed by Almond Cream, "Encased" Risotto hinges more on the tableside preparation than anything else, a bit gimmicky though the taste and texture of Rice, Mushrooms and Hazelnuts are delightful. Suggesting the €85 wild-caught Mallard "for two," a tableside preparation plating Breast alongside Carob and Squash with its Seeds, steep-pricing became justified through the addition of satellite plates offering Confit with Chestnuts and Liver beneath Truffles lightly sweetened by Balsamic. Using English Stilton wrapped in White Chocolate as a bridge to Dessert, an unexpected but enjoyable choice in Italy, it was after a somewhat protracted delay thay "Malaga 2.0" arrived, the idea somewhere between Halo Halo and deconstructed Panettone thanks to Egg Yolk Ice Cream, boozy Raisins, Citrus and Bread.

I tried to call the next day for that night same thing! So f' it we went for a Sunday dinner which they had availability. 3 times a charm right? The chef had a Michelin star south of Rome before he left the country to do time in London and Mumbai. After a handful of years of hiatus, he came back into the city to open the same namesake restaurant of the former countryside in Prati. They're only two and a half weeks old but the food cognoscenti are starting to figure it out. The space used to be a bar so it already had a kitchen buildout but the space has been renovated to be sleek and modern with some traditional touches here and there. It's fairly minimalist and the colors are very clean. Beautiful modern wood tables still get a traditional table cloth setting. When we were seated we were asked how we knew a out the place and when we told them about the recommendation, they were super happy to hear. There are a large amount of a la carte courses which to choose from or you can do a 5 and 7 course degustation. We told chef he should just cook for us and the surprise was part of the fun. Around seven courses came out with some bonuses; all delicious. The play on the Lazio countryside recipes, modernized were all wonderful. At this rate I think theyre getting at least a Michelin star this year. I went to a one star last year in the area and felt it was nowhere near the meal i had here, especially for a place not even open for three weeks! I guess the old restaurant was famous for their spaghettone with coppiette which I was sad not to get. We however we did say just cook for us, so it's no one's fault except for my own. I guess ill just have to return to have it...
