Not sure about the restaurant, but we went to Seafood Fest this weekend at Hampton Beach and spent $15 on a credit card. They charge $1.00 credit card fee. Really? The swipe fees about $.45. So normally I throw a couple bucks into the tip jar. Nope, not this time. So you actually saved me $1.00. You can give my swipe fee to your employees. Got a blooming onion and it was certainly not Outback quality but it was serviceable. Instead of charging a credit card fee, which is part of your business expenses, just raise your prices slightly bc and stop making people mad. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Sent me rotten food , they did not follow any instructions therefore sent me something I was allergic to. As well as sending me soggy smashed fries. This place is a scam at best. They also do not clearly label menu items. To top all of this off when I called to let them know my order was wrong and rotten, they hung up on me ; and shut off their phones. I'll be getting a full refund and writing a report with Uber eats. If I could put negative stars I would. I went to Hampton for a week with my family and one night decided to go out. It was around 11:30pm about to close. We were hungry and got fried Oreos. I then later that night forgot I left my phone on the counter. We searched from 1:30am to 4:00am throughout the whole board walk. My phones location on apple is in the pizza place AND on life 360. We proceeded to go to lost and found nobody had it. We went to the pizza shop multiple times with different people they said they dont have it. they have it. what do i do!! They offer wood fire brick oven pizza, calzones, salads, pasta, subs/wraps, sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, fried seafood (fish, clams, shrimp, calamari), and appetizers. Summertime carnival food favorites such as fried dough, blooming onion, grater tater, fried Oreos, fried Twinkies, fried ice cream, slushes, and ice cream treats (hard & soft serve). The food is made to order. I went here last weekend as they were opening up for the season. La Spiaggia participated as a food vendor at this year's Hampton Beach Seafood Festival with a station in each of the two food tents. Their storefront was also along the Ocean Blvd which had been closed to vehicles for the festival. They may rate 1.5 stars on Yelp, but at the festival, they delivered. They delivered an impressively huge sweet onion, cut, battered, coated and fried, with packaged ranch dressing on the side. The blooming onion cost $9, and it was deemed the best blooming onion ever by one of my companions. Sometimes these things can be rather undercooked by the base - not this one! Just be careful - it was hot out of the fryer and served on a paper plate. You do the math. For those with allergies - please note that they dip all their fry orders in the same batter and coating mixture as a normal course of action. On my last night in Hampton Beach, I was hoping for a pizza delivery. I found La Spiaggia and was able to place an order on their website for delivery. It stated it would be about an hour (which I thought was normal for delivery) however, after an hour and a half no pizza showed up and I didn't receive any calls from the restaurant. I called the number shown on Yelp and it went to a regular person (oops! Wrong number!) I then found a different number on google, tried calling that number and got no answer...not even an answering machine. My credit card has yet to be charged (2 hours into this debacle) so I'm thinking the website goes no where and Im not sure if this place is even open anymore. read more

I came here once over the summer to the beach and had a craving for fried dough and this was where I ended up. Needless to say, I didn't write a review and went back randomly last week and, again, FRIED DOUGH!!! oh how i love thee... It was all that I bought actually. The first time was actually a lot better. I don't know if it was because it was still summer or if it's because it was day time. The dough was fried perfectly and sprinkled lightly with sugar powder. This time, the dough was good too but the guy drowned it with powdered sugar. I asked if he could cut it for me, since it was hard to just bite off and tearing it apart with both hands was just not a good idea at the time. He tells me -- Ummmm well, i can't. the pizza cutter has sauce on it. Mind you, there was no one else waiting to order other than waiting to get their orders. My first time ever at Hampton Beach in New Hampshire The service sucked, the 2 girls that took our order was more interested was on facebook rather that taking our order. $8.99 x 2 Steak & Cheese was horribly disgusting. It was basically steakums. For that price it should at least be sub shop grade steak. $3.99 French Fries was cold not cooked all the way through. We did not even finish our food. We took 4 bites of the sub and ate few fries, then left the rest on the table. We will NEVER EVER go there again. I get the whole tourist thing by jacking up the prices, but the price was NOT worth it. Save your money, I'm sure there is other places to good with better quality food for the same price or better. We have come here over the past 5 years at least once every year. We tried the pizza, fried dough, steak and cheese sub, calamari, and wings. Food didn't taste bad, plus this place is usually one of the last ones to close at boardwalk. Everytime I buy something it feels like it's a little overpriced by a dollar or too. The steak and cheese could be $8 and not 9.50 for an example. Other than that not a horrible place. Costumer service is as good as every other food place (or businesses for that matter) on Hampton beach, absolutely horrible. The maybe 3 13 year old kids behind the counter then jumping over the counter yelling at each other while we wait 20 minutes for reheated slices in a toaster oven!!!!!! We just had food at this place last sunday and it was yucks. The falafel was so sour, the pizza was not fresh and the cheese tasted weird. The pizza had no sauce and was so not edible. The french fries were okay. Not sure how is the place open, people will stop by and eat there if they visit hampton beach. They carry a lot of variety. But they definitely won't revisit. Terrible service. The woman at the register rang up my order incorrectly. When I clarified my order, she charged my credit card a second time without reversing the inital transaction. When I called the store to get this all sorted out, they refused to help me. Now I am in the process of filing a claim to get my money back. I make such bad decisions when I am starving! Walking around a bit frustrated on Hampton Beach's Ocean Boulevard the other day (due to the fact that so many places here are still "cash only" even though it is the year 2014 and it reflects on them in a negative light as supremely tightwad-ish), I came across La Spiaggia flush with around 200 pictures of their offerings taped all over the place."Well, they must be good at cooking EVERYTHING!" my hungry and desperate self thought. Already craving fried clams like you wouldn't believe, I found a picture on the menu of a nice heap of them on a bed of fries for around 14 dollars...perfect! After what seemed like an awfully long wait, my order was up. "Um, I ordered fried clams, like in the picture...", I complained to the girl at the counter after discovering clam strips or clamettes, or whatever you want to call the box of clam bits I was handed without the clams themselves. "They taste good!" said the girl. Not one to argue, I asked for extra tartar sauce and was given the packets they get from whatever bulk restaurant supply company they use, ugh. Eating the "clams" was even more disappointing than the visual letdown, as they obviously came from a big giant frozen bag made somewhere far, far away from the ocean. Sorry, if you are located at the beach and offering seafood, it better be fresh-especially if you are charging market prices. And how hard is it to make your own tartar sauce? I ended up throwing away 75% of the food, which had terrible loaded-with-preservatives-tasting batter by the way, and I only ate 25% of it because I hate to waste money. As a sidenote, my husband ordered the pizza, which is cooked in a brick oven, and even that wasn't done right. He has eaten here in the past and said it has changed, and not for the better. I had the worst experience here. First the line was very long which I understand but once I got to the counter I asked for a grilled chicken Greek salad which was almost $10 dollars and when the salad came it had a few pieces of lettuce, 4 bites of chicken, and some tomato slices...it was horrible. In addition when I asked to use my credit card they said they would have to charge me another dollar but my bill was already over $20 because my partner got a Gyro which was just ok.
