The setting is fantastic and merits 5 starts alone, as well as the staff. Our waiter was super nice and very helpful.
The food was good, but I wouldn't say great.
I had the arugula salad, and they don't put dressing on the salad in this country, instead they always bring the vinegar and olive oil so you can do. They never bring salt, she you must ask for it. What I didn't like was that they sprinkled (heavily) a romano cheese all over the salad that belongs on pasta or pizza, not a salad and it wasn't on ye menus description-otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it.
I also had the tomato soup and the flavor was good, but it was more like a tomato sauce, chunky but it was good for dipping with the cheese garlic bread.
The cheesy garlic bread was soft and warm, but it hardly had any garlic. The pizza was okay, but super greasy and you couldn't hold it, instead you needed to use a knife and fork to eat, which was fine except for all the grease.
We would go back for the setting alone, but with so many restaurants on the river if probably try those first before returning. read more
