I had the arugula salad, and they don't put dressing on the salad in this country, instead they always bring the vinegar and olive oil so you can do. They never bring salt, she you must ask for it. What I didn't like was that they sprinkled (heavily) a romano cheese all over the salad that belongs on pasta or pizza, not a salad and it wasn't on ye menus description-otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it. I also had the tomato soup and the flavor was good, but it was more like a tomato sauce, chunky but it was good for dipping with the cheese garlic bread. The cheesy garlic bread was soft and warm, but it hardly had any garlic. The pizza was okay, but super greasy and you couldn't hold it, instead you needed to use a knife and fork to eat, which was fine except for all the grease. We would go back for the setting alone, but with so many restaurants on the river if probably try those first before returning.

Here on an overcast rainy Sunday early afternoon - first weekend of January 2025 so it's low tourist season and a bit chilly but it's also not too cold to sit outside. Double espresso helped me wake up a bit; had an over priced glass of red wine (7 euros?!!) that was definitely VERY meh. Ordered the Pugliese pizze. It was average- neither amazing nor horrid. Overall, I'd say this place is a tad pricey - it's NYC prices/ what I expect to pay at home, but doesn't quite meet standards to be charging these prices. Basically a hyped up tourist trap. The Valpolicello Ripasso we ordered was from a winery new to us, and it was enjoyable. We had a caprese salad to start. The tomatoes were fresh and full of flavor and the mozzarella was fresh tasting as well. Although we prefer a good balsamic vinegar drizzle, the pesto olive oil did work. The pasta in both dishes was on the harder side of al dente, and it worked great. I'm not sure if it was fresh pasta but I'd put money on it being fresh pasta. The burrata and the tomato sauce for the spaghetti had a very nice balance, and you won't go wrong with the dish. The carbonara is made from eggs (not cream!) a as it should be. The raw egg over the top was an excellent touch. If you're worried about raw eggs order something else. Because this is exactly the way carbonara is supposed to be prepared. The yolk was a darker orange, tasting fresh from the farm. And it really added a nice layer of flavor. Again, a dog friendly establishment, so remember not all dogs are timid! And no worries of you bring your little canine compatriot, they will be welcomed with open arms!

Both had a perfect crust - thin and a blend between chewy and crispy. Cheese allocation was generous (the way I like it!). Totally hit the spot. It's always a little iffy when you're ordering takeout in another country, but pizza is pretty much a universal food category at this point, and I would absolutely order from Luzzo again.

Would definitely come back if we were in Lisbon in the future. It is basically only to-go, which was fine for us, we were staying at a hotel nearby.
