We ended up booking a last-minute stay via trip.com at this La Quinta after getting locked out of our apartment (not exactly the plan for the night ).
We were honestly a little hesitant based on some of the reviews, but decided to give it a shot since we didn't want to spend a ton and thankfully it ended up being EXACTLY what we needed.
Check-in was quick and easy. Patel at the front desk was super friendly, welcoming, and gave us all the details about breakfast and the stay.
Right away, we noticed the parking lot was very well lit, which made it feel safe walking in at night -- always a big plus, especially in that area of town.
Our room was MASSIVE. Not sure if we got upgraded or not, but it was clean, spacious, and the bed was really comfortable. For a last-minute, budget-friendly stay, we were pleasantly surprised.
One thing to note: you can't AirPlay/cast from your phone to the TV, so just plan accordingly if you like to stream your own shows.
Breakfast in the morning had a solid variety:
* Waffles
* Bagels
* Oatmeal
* Cereal
* Apples & bananas
* Potatoes & scrambled eggs
* Yogurt
They were out of sausage by the time we got there (around 9:30am), and it's not exactly a high-protein/low-fat spread, but it gets the job done and was good for a quick start to the day.
Overall, this stay surprised us in the best way. Clean, safe, friendly service, and great value for the price. We'd definitely stay here again if we needed a quick, reliable spot. read more
