Stayed one night with the hubs. Super cute vibe. Loved everything about the look. The carpets were based on Austin city maps. Rooms were nice and airy. Everything is controlled by iPad: tv, lights, curtains, blackout screen, overall ambiance. We went to the bar around midnight. Two bartenders and about 10 customers. We sat at the bar and ordered a few drinks. 20 min passed and I don't know what they bartenders were doing but not making anything. They seemed to be overwhelmed and not very knowledgeable. Hubs asked what bourbon they used and the BT said he didn't know. Another man yelled, is anyone gonna take our drink orders. It was a hot mess. They prioritized taking food orders for some reason. Founded in Amsterdam in 2007, you'll immediately see why. It has a very strong Amsterdam vibe. This location was purchased by Marriott sometime in the last few years. If I didn't already know the name of the hotel, I would have confused it for a W. Pros: - Affordable and good location in downtown. I locked in a pre-pay rate for $193 on a Saturday in March. - The wi-fi worked fine. - It's clean. - The room has some pretty cool touchscreen options for mood setting. Cons: - They don't answer the phone, not from an outside line or from your room phone. I almost asked what the point was in having landlines in the room if the front desk never answers. - If your room is missing an iron and ironing board, that's by design. Each floor has a "laundry room" where you have to bring your clothes to be ironed. And yes, you have to do the ironing yourself. - The rooms are super tiny. Maybe 200 sq ft. at best. read more

Eh. CitizenM is a trendy concept that I want to love but after this trip, I officially decided I am too old for lol. There is no parking designated for the hotel. The options are a garage a few blocks away or a garage across the street. It definitely gets pricey for going in and out and is quite a hassle with bags. The check in process is through kiosk although there is a staff around to assist. The best part about citizenM is the lobby and pool areas. They are nice for relaxing or enjoying a meal. The gym was absolutely awful. Both peloton bikes were not functioning properly and one tread wasn't working. The room is very small so there isnt enough space for more than 2 people to comfortably do floor work or weights. The room is standard citizenM setup-king bed pressed against the window. It is problematic for 2 people because both people won't have an area for bedside items or a charger. The first night, I requested an additional blanket and was told housekeeping was gone for the night so I had to wait until the morning. The non full service hotel is just not for me and while I understand not every traveler requires this, I think the cost should be significantly lower than a hotel with more amenities and full service. read more

I stayed overnight on New Year's Eve to avoid traffic returning home. I have previously stayed at CitizenM properties in California, so I was familiar with the room layout and overall experience. I personally found the bed comfortable and slept well; however, my partner found the mattress quite firm and uncomfortable. The following morning around 9:00 a.m., I contacted the front desk to request a late checkout. I was informed by the front desk agent (possibly named Diego) that no late checkout availability remained and that a 2:00 p.m. checkout would require a $69 fee. I explained that I hold Marriott Bonvoy Platinum status and am entitled to late checkout per Marriott's published benefits. I was told that due to the New Year's holiday and high demand, I would still need to pay the fee. To confirm, I contacted Marriott Bonvoy customer service directly. They confirmed that, as a Platinum member, I am guaranteed a 4:00 p.m. late checkout and advised me to notify them if the hotel was unable to honor this benefit. I then contacted the front desk again to relay this information. Only at that point did the agent agree to apply the complimentary late checkout. During this second call, the agent asked for my name and room number, which I found unusual given that the call was placed from the in-room phone. More concerning was that my initial request and elite status were dismissed until I referenced my conversation with Marriott Bonvoy customer service. This gave the impression that the benefit was not honored proactively and was only applied after escalation. While I appreciated ultimately receiving the correct benefit, the process and communication were disappointing and inconsistent with the expectations of elite recognition. read more

One stand out from my experience is Jeffery, who not only went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable but showed us great places to visit in Austin. Even when we were lost and looked like total idiots, Jeffery made sure we were taken care of and needed to go to our correct destination. Some downsides to the hotel is parking, they don't have their own parking so you either have to park at 600 congress or the public parking across Colorado street. The parking was a reasonable pricing at 600 congress but I recommended leaving your car there for the duration of your stay because they charge you each time leave and come back. Most of the places we went to were walking distance from the hotel. read more

We stayed at the Citizenm hotel downtown Austin for Valentine's Day weekend for our annual Valentine's Day getaway and for a close friend's wedding. We chose this hotel because it is a really cool art-centered hotel and the price is very affordable. The hotel was perfect for the two of us. They have self check-in upon arrival, and you can choose your floor and view if the rooms are available. This is a very modern hotel with electronic controls for everything in your room. We loved the bar on the second floor, and although we didn't order, they have 24/7 room service. This is a gem of a hotel, and if we come back to Austin, we might stay here again. The only reason it is not a 5 star is because there is no parking and they don't have a relationship with the garage across the street for a discount. We had to pay $33 a night to park, but it's right across the street and easy to get to. We recommend this hotel because it is very modern and close to many places to eat. Friendly staff. No free parking available cost 33 for overnight across the street. Easy checkin at kiosk where you activate key, you need it to activate floor on elevator. Roof top pool and bar, small rooms but it's great for sleeping and they have hands free blind closure that had black out for a restful sleep. First time staying at a Citizen M hotel. It's basically an overpriced hostel ($500 a night) with rooms smaller than a cruise ship cabin (the rooms are as wide as the bed, literally). That's fine. New that going in. The issue was when I checked in my room was never cleaned -literally drinks and food on the floor, bed wasn't made. That's never happened to me ever. So they got me another room. Then I requested cleaning for the next day (they don't do it automatically) and guess what, got home and the room hadn't been cleaned. So, called down to the front desk and, guess what, no one answered. Literally worse than a hostel and $500. NEVER EVER STAY AT A CITIZEN M. read more

My kids and I enjoyed staying at CitizenM downtown ATX because the location was nice and the hotel was cool. I've never stayed in a kitchenette size room before and it was though since I am claustrophobic. But I made it work Awesome and friendly staff. That's always a plus! The only 2 negative things I have to say is as follows: No parking: there are a few around and the nearest is in the Indeed building across the street. Read the rates because I spent $48 for the first day parking. Food: We ordered a 4 cheese pizza, loaded nachos and rosemary fries. The pizza was tasty and crunchy, but very dry and they could have done a better job at slicing it. Rosemary fries were too salty and I couldn't eat it. The nachos were very yummy, yet with hardly any cheese. They served it as a burrito bowl (per pic not the typical layered nachos). No utensils and no plate. I practically had to get my hands dirty and dig in to layer a nacho chip for me and my kids the whole time. Other than that, good times. read more

Bad: cruise ship size rooms - think Aloft only half the size, no drop off for check in, parking is in Indeed Tower ~$50/night, small warning signs about parking and you will get towed ~$334, very dark hallways, shower leaks into toilet area and then onto room floor, no streaming on television. The creepy face pictures next to the elevator and in the room closet reminded me of "The Mark of Gideon" Star Trek episode from the 1960's. Decor is a cross between the Japan bullet train and IKEA. What can I say about this place that it's website doesn't say for itself... Great if you're traveling solo or as a couple. (Or sleep in the same bed as a whole family?) only one large comfy king bed in each room. Room is cozy. Small bathroom (toilet and shower in the same wet area). Bathroom has LEDs around it that you can control the colors from using the in-room iPad or the app on your phone. (So cool) Toilet flush options are on the wall (small circle for liquid, large circle for solids). Shower has a rain shower head and hand shower in it, which is a very nice quality Hanshrohe brand. Sink, beverage (tiny drawer) fridge, hair dryer, shelving all are just outside the bathroom with a lit vanity mirror - everything in arms reach! Now, the technology. You can set the temp, mood, lighting, adjust curtains, shade and everything from the citizenM app while you're away! We went to a concert and at intermission I set the room mood and temperature, and when we arrived it was exactly perfect. The living rooms, bar/kitchen, and common areas are well decorated and furnished. It's like being at a home! The staff is super social and friendly (if you want) and very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. I would definitely get a membership if you're a traveler and visit the many cities/countries that there are citizenM hotels. The point is to have a comfy place to sleep, but be able to get OUT and enjoy the surrounding amenities around where they strategically put these hotels. Tip: your room key can go with you as a luggage tag and be used at all citizenM hotels (sustainable!)! read more

Yelp limits review length, so I have to break this up. This is part 1 . . . The CitizenM Hotel in Austin, Texas is the embodiment of, "Lipstick on a pig", if the pig itself was broken down and deceitful. According to the internet, the idiom, "Lipstick on a pig", describes "attempting to make something unattractive, flawed, or undesirable appear more appealing through superficial changes." Usually the pig just "is what it is", but unfortunately CitizenM corporate management have intentionally made the pig as flawed and insulting as possible, hoping their "lipstick" will distract unsuspecting customers into overlooking management's willful acts of total disrespect for all customers. I'll start with the simplest examples, and then build from there. The CitizenM hotel policy is that they will not supply ANY glasses or even plastic cups to be used in the rooms. If you want a cup to rinse your mouth after brushing your teeth, they won't even bring you a cup, instead making you take the elevator down to the bar to ask the bartender, who you will hope isn't serving drinks to other customers. Do you want any ice? There are also no ice machines, so again, ride the elevator down to the bar, and again hope the bartender doesn't have other customers to serve in front of you. I have no issue with hotels that don't have ice machines or coffee machines, but to explicitly decide not to supply a glass or cup of any sort is going way too far. I'm paying $400 for one night at this "swanky" hotel and they are so cheap that they won't even give me a cup! Really? For what it's worth, I did speak to the hotel manager about this and he's not even in charge of the policy. It came from above, and the hotel manager doesn't even know who could change the policy. Similarly, the CitizenM hotel policy is that they will not furnish wash clothes to the room. So if you want to wash your face, they expect you to either use a full bath towel, toilet paper, or again you must ride the elevator down to the front desk to ask for a wash cloth. Hey, at least you don't have to ask for a clean washcloth from the bartender! Again, I want to repeat that for $400 per night, this hotel is so $#@! cheap that they won't give you a simple cup or washcloth. Really? This is pure greed, and it's only the tip of the iceberg (or "pig"). The rooms don't have irons, which is common & fine, but they do have an ironing room. That sounds like a unique perk for the few people that want to use it, but it probably took the place of the room where most hotels would have an ice machine. Unfortunately my business partner needed to iron his nice white dress shirt but the steam function of the iron apparently collected a lot of rust, so it sprayed rust all over his white shirt. He did the best he could to wash it in his sink, and ultimately had to buy a new shirt for our business meeting the next day. Next, their "air cooling" (not air conditioning!) is designed so that it will not show the actual room temperature, nor will it show a set point. See this screenshot of the application they built or bought with all the savings from not giving you cups or wash clothes or irons or ice machines: If you're stupid enough to stay at this hotel, as I apparently am and just did, then CitizenM assumes you are too stupid to understand numerical temperature readings . . . OR . . . they designed the system so that you cannot know how miserable you are whenever you enter your room. I cannot tell you exactly/numerically how warm it was when I got to my room, but I'm certain it was over 80 degrees. As you can see in the image above, I set the temperature as low as I could and put the "fan" on high. My first indication this was going to get worse was when I could not hear any air flow, even with the "fan" on high. I have put the word "fan" in quotes because that is apparently another lie, or lipstick on a pig, because there is no fan for each room, as you might expect from a normal hotel. Only many hours later after a visit from the hotel's HVAC technician did I learn that all they are doing is opening a damper to a central HVAC system, which doesn't or at least wasn't even working properly. Even if it did, there is no "fan" for a specific room, so you're just hoping a damper opens enough to blow air that you can only feel if you stand on a chair to hold your hand within 6-12 inches of the grill. read more

We loved our experience here. The haters out there with negative reviews need to research where they stay a little better before they just book a room anywhere. The Citizen M is exactly as advertised. Yes, the rooms are very small but that's their deal. They are super user friendly, well designed and very comfortable. Anyone expecting a giant Hilton room with carpet hiding grossness and chairs no one sits in will be in for a surprise:) We've stayed all over the globe and this is also one of the cleanest rooms we've ever seen. Yes, it's small. But so well designed. It has a Japanese vibe to it. Oh yeah can't forget, super comfy bed and pillows. We're trying the restaurant today...... to be continued. read more

Stayed at CitizenM for a few days while we were attending a wedding in Austin. Hotel is right in downtown, it's clean, and convenient to many eateries, CVS, and bars. Check in: the check in process gives you a stark indication this hotel ain't your dad's hotel. The process was essentially self serve. You check in at one of the kiosks, scanning your own ID, creating your own room keys. They have staff there to assist but I can see how those who are less tech savvy would be potentially turned off my this. If, however, you're somebody like me who enjoys technology and doing things yourself then this is heaven. Don't bother me, let me do it myself so I can get to my room. The staff that was there was incredibly nice and quick to offer assistance for those who needed it. Room: these rooms are small. It's pretty much a galley with the bed pushed at the end next to the window. The sink is in the room, separate from the shower/toilet area, which honestly was fine. Bed is actually quite big and comfortable - we're two big boys and had plenty of room. I liked being next to the window in bed so I could be nosey and people watch. I did have to climb over my husband any time I needed to get out of the bed so be mindful of that. There's a good amount of storage beneath the bed so you should be able to empty out your bags because you're gonna have a helluva time trying to maneuver them around the small space. Again, the tech comes in because everything is controlled through an iPad. Lights, tv, shades. It all worked nice except the tv, which was pretty laggy at times. Overall I actually found the room nice. It was smartly designed for the limited space, clean, and comfortable. How much time are you really spending in your room anyway? For me, it's just a place to sleep and this was more than adequate. Parking: there is none. There are plenty of paid lots around the area so you won't have issues finding a spot. We were lazy so we parked in the building directly adjacent at $33 a day. Facilities: they had an ok gym and a decent pool. There's a bar/eatery. Nice staff. Had a couple drinks at the bar and they weren't bad. There are also a bunch of lounge areas with nice seating where you can just chill after a long day. Hotel was clean, which to me is priority. Overall, I really liked it. I'd stay here again. I like the tech, the location was convenient, and staff was nice. If you're not somebody who needs a large room, this hotel is perfect. If two big bears can be comfortable, you can make it work. Also if you're not tech savvy, don't stay here. Otherwise, great hotel. read more

We decided to stay at this hotel because it was about $300 cheaper (for 3 nights) than other hotels in the downtown area. You check into the hotel using the 2nd floor computers and from there go up to your room. The hotel has a lot of art and is modernized which is great. The room itself is quite automatized. You rely on an iPad for the blinds/curtains on the windows, for the tv, and for the lights, however, there are a few switches available, but it doesn't work everything. I would NOT stay here if you are NOT technology friendly. Average WiFi connection (cuts in and out, I had to connect to hotspot to work), okay gym. Pool was nice/heated, but closed at 8:30pm. Friendly staff. I would easily stay here again if it was cheaper than the other hotels in the downtown area, but if all the prices were the same, I would consider checking elsewhere. read more

Up until yesterday I was a loyal Marriott gold elite member. A major breach of customer service at the citizenM has caused me to rethink this. I had booked 5 nights at the citizenM using my Marriott points. My flight into Austin was cancelled and it was too late to change my hotel reservation. I contacted citizenM through their call center (there wasn't any way to contact the hotel directly) who assured me the reservation would be held until I arrived the next day, and said she'd relay the message. When I arrived at citizenM, they hadn't gotten the message and had cancelled my reservation (there was even a sticky note with my name on their computer with "no show.") Despite the fact that it still appeared as valid in the Marriott app, they refused to honor my reservation. They said I could make a new reservation, but I couldn't use my points as they were tied up in the existing reservation that they had canceled. The solution they suggested to the problem which they caused was that I pay for a new reservation at a cost of $1000 and they'd give me my points back in a few days. I wasn't inclined to hand over $1000 for a stay that was supposed to be free to the people who'd let me down and told me only solution was that I pay, so I went to their competitor down the street. I will continue to take my business elsewhere from here on out, as Marriott is no longer reliable and has lost my loyalty. I'll also tell all my friends (a lot of whom travel) and post this review on all major platforms. read more

This is a fun, quirky little hotel that was very well-priced for mid-February. I was extending a work trip and I needed a centrally located spot. This place is walkable to so many restaurants and coffee shops and bars. They have a rooftop pool and it was 85 degrees when I was there on February 8th. I had no problem checking in early either. The only pros are location and it wasn't dirty In the cubby hole they call a suite. As titanium elite members we chose this hotel for 2 nights while we were in Austin. It was a horrible choice. The room was never cold. It was hot even at the lowest setting. The internet was out, which isn't good when the only way to control your television is via an iPad. The manager came to check out why our iPad wasn't working and never mentioned the system has to be reset and we should be able to use it the next day. The volume is managed at night to a max level of 14, even though it allows you to think you're turning it up. Prob because the rooms are so small and close together. The rooms were so small two adults couldn't move around at the same time. I had to crawl over my husband to get in or out of bed, I'm 5'4 he's 6'2. The hallways were red lit and the music was just not copacetic for every guest but that's what the place sold, inclusivity. The staff was indifferent to everything. Oh and you have to ask for bath linens. If I was traveling alone, and needed a place to sleep for a few hours I'd choose one of those things at the airport. It was as if you were on a mini cruise ship On land without any cruise ship commonalities such as pleasant staff and more room in a suite. read more

Citizen M is a hipster, social-styled hotel. Located in the heart of downtown Austin, it is a short walk from Sixth Street and all the other amazing locations downtown has to offer! I came here during the Solar Eclipse weekend, and the fee was much cheaper than other hotels during that period. The hotel lobby is designed for social gatherings, and there is a bar located in the center of the lobby. Great way to socialize and meet new people. The room itself is "compact-sized," but the vibes and room features are amazing. There is no hotel parking/ valet, but there is a parking structure within a short walking distance. Absolutely love this hotel and will be back! read more

Had such a great and memorable stay at CitizenM in Austin! I absolutely loved the modern abstract art everywhere. It is truly a fun and eclectic vibe throughout the entire hotel. The staff here were awesome! From walking us through the check-in process to the hospitality throughout our stay including breakfasts, drinks and pointing us to whatever we needed, everyone we met was so cool and nice. Shoutout to my fav, Jim from Akron! One of my favorite parts of the stay was breakfast. It's an added fee but well worth it. They have great coffee and other cafe drinks for order, and a delicious spread of savory hot breakfast foods, pastries, fresh fruit, breads, meats, cheeses, yogurt and granola... the list goes on. It was a great way to start each day. The rooftop pool was gorgeous and I enjoyed the nice towels provided and the bar to order drinks & snacks from. I give CitizenM 4 stars only because the rooms are very small and a bit cramped, and while I appreciate the high tech aspect of the hotel, the iPad controlling *literally everything* was a bit much. And I say that as a tech-savvy millennial. I can't imagine my parents or many other elder adults loving the rooms, but that's probably not citizenM's target audience. 5 stars for the bed, though, it was incredibly comfortable! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone okay with staying in a small space . My boyfriend and I booked this hotel for a weekend getaway in Austin. Long story short, we extended our one-day trip two times (after we had already checked out), so we were able to stay in three different rooms at Citizen M; unfortunately, each day had a few complications. The hotel itself is well-decorated and lively with a rooftop bar, gym, and a bar on the lobby floor. The rooms are basically all the same with everything controlled by a tablet. In my opinion, the rooms are the perfect size for two people for a short trip, but I can see how it might seem too small if you have a lot of luggage. Our first night was great until the elevator broke. Our room was on the 10th floor, so we decided to take the stairs. After climbing up 8 flights of stairs, we tried to enter our floor with our key but it didn't work (the workers also didn't know why our key didn't work for the stairs). One of the workers happened to be taking the stairs and let us in -- don't know what we would've done if he wasn't there. The second night was also great until we had house keeping knocking on our door in the morning (I'm assuming it didn't register on the system that we had late check out?). My boyfriend and I were both wearing headphones, so we didn't hear them knocking until they walked in. A similar thing happened on the third day, but a worker was telling us through the door that it was past our check-out time (it wasn't because we had late check-out at 2 PM). Despite some chaos, we still enjoyed our stay! A couple of workers recognized us (since we were checking in and out three times), which was nice. They definitely have some kinks to work through, but I understand since it's only been around 3 weeks since they opened! read more

So it took a little while for me to decide it was ok . The rooms are VERY small and everything runs off and iPad. The tablet was a little glitchy and every time you leave the room the lighting changes and the blinds go down. The staff is pretty friendly and the atmosphere in the lobby is kinda cool. Breakfast was decent . Standard hotel breakfast buffet type is things. They have a canteen that has snacks and drinks. Its little pricey,but so is everything in Austin The gym is very small. They have a cool little room to iron clothes if you need to since there is no space available in the room for it . I'd say if youre on your own it's worth a try. read more

Part 2 of the review (still have more for part 3, but will require another account) . . . The HVAC technician brought with him an infrared thermometer which he pointed at the vent and found it the air emitted from it was at 69 degrees F. So in theory, if enough air was blowing into the room (which it was not) for enough time, it might cool the room down from 80+ degrees. The technician agreed there was a problem, so he went away to do what he could to the main system. Eventually he returned and the temperature from the system was now down to 60 degrees F, and there was a bit more airflow, but it would still be considered the lowest possible level on any other system. After many hours of this, I estimate the room temperature got down to 70 degrees. The good news is that the system is very quiet, so you won't be awakened by the "fan" if you're able to sleep in the heat. I acknowledge that I've walked into other hotel rooms where the AC is off, and most other systems cool the room down in a reasonable period of time. Unfortunately, this room never would have cooled down if I hadn't talked to the manager who in turn got the HVAC technician to do what he could. While I'm sympathetic to any system not working "as designed", I believe this system was NEVER designed to work as any American would expect. I believe the lack of a numeric temperature value on the HVAC control is part of corporate management's "lipstick" to save pennies at the cost of your comfort. My only question now is whether the marketing person who created the user experience needs to be fired for thinking that HVAC control without a temperature is "hip & trendy", or whether the finance person should be fired for making all guests uncomfortable to save a few pennies. Adding insult to injury, there is additional "lipstick" in that CitizenM claims to be saving the planet by saving electricity, saving throwing out plastic cups, saving washing glasses, and saving the washing of washcloths. I'm all for saving the planet, but it's clear that is NOT the motivation at CitizenM hotels. I'll mention a few other cost saving decisions by the CitizenM hotel that are a bit extreme, but don't bother me quite so much. First, there is no person behind a deck that checks you in. Instead, you use a self-service tablet to check yourself in, and even grab your own key card. This is a bit unique for hotels, but no worse than a self check-in for an airplane flight, or self check-out at a grocery store. Once you've done it once, you'll appreciate not needing to wait in line. The rooms themselves are the smallest I've experienced in the US. Rooms this size are quite common in Europe, but by American standards, they are tiny. The room is only about 7 feet wide, just a few inches more than the length of the bed, and the bed itself is pushed sideways against the far window/wall in front of the window (see the image below). When staying by myself, the side of the bed against the exterior wall isn't an issue, but neither my wife nor I would appreciate needing to climb over each other to get in or out of the bed at night. The toilet & shower are in one frosted glass area, which reminds me of the "bathroom" on a small boat or catamaran. This also doesn't bother me, and is common in Europe, but I mention it as clear examples of how everything about this hotel was done to maximize profits, NOT simply to save the planet. There is a "save the planet" button on the main switch at the door, but even the hotel staff will suggest you don't use that or else you'll come back to an uncomfortably warm room. They then tell you there are motion sensors in the room so even if you don't use the "save the planet" switch, the HVAC will shut off pretty quickly, ensuring that you can never come back to a comfortable room. This pretty much guarantees that if you go out for the evening, the room will be uncomfortably warm (again, I can't tell you exactly how uncomfortable because we are all too stupid to be trusted with an actual temperature) and as mentioned above, it will take over an hour for the room to cool down, if it ever does. Ironically there is no other light switch at the door to turn off the light above the door. So at night when you are ready for bed, trying to turn off that light, the only obvious way is to press the "save the planet" that turns off all the lights and the HVAC. Only if you try every other switch in the room will you learn that there is a "Night Light" switch by the bed that dims most of the lights AND turns off the light at the door. The concept of the "Night Light" switch is kind of nice, except that it leaves on the lamp that hangs over the bed. That seems a little odd, but if two people stay in the room, one of you may have to climb over the other to get in or out of the bed, so maybe the light over the bed is for your safety. read more

The hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable. This is where any positivity ends. The rooms claimed to be soundproof and they absolutely were not. The room itself is controlled by an ipad which is very clunky. Things like adjusting the volume of the TV had to be done by the ipad and it was very difficult. Also, the hotel does not have any parking. AT ALL. Which made me look to nearby garages. AVOID The garage next door at all costs. It was very difficult to use, and my car was both dented and broken into during my 2 night stay. I like European style hotels, however this was not that. I stayed here for two nights with my boyfriend and it was perfect. There are self check in/check out kiosks but there were always employees to help you with the process. The rooms were clean, cozy, and super cool. They are very small but that's why it's only 1-2 people per room. All of the elevators were working and super quick during my stay. I also liked that the front doors to the hotel lock after a certain time at night and require your key card to get in. No parking with the hotel but you can use the app SpotHero to book parking in a garage nearby. Book through the citizen M app to get free drinks at the bar!!!!! read more
