Food was not good at all. The chicken tasted old. The beans were not fully done. The rice was not fully cooked

Stumbled across this hole in the wall restaurant and I could not have been happier! The smell of rotisserie chicken outside is part of the reason I was so drawn to this place. Walking in, I noticed a covered, open dining area that felt very comfortable and offers a very nice dining experience if you choose so. Inside of the building was clean and well kept. I ordered the #2, which was a half rotisserie chicken, rice, beans, and tortillas. For less than $15 dollars with a large natural lime water, you could not go wrong! I was happy with the cost of the meal, but even happier with the taste! The wood fired, rotisserie chicken was extremely hot after it was brought to my table, as were the sides. I gathered a couple of the various sauce options they offer and I was pleasantly surprised at the taste, and the heat!! Chicken was very tasty, not too dry, and flavoring. I do have to say that the rice is TO DIE FOR!! Pollos La Pullita hit the mark in the area of customer service as well! The lady at the counter was very helpful and did so with a smile. As I was finishing my meal, I went for a refill of my natural lime water, fully expecting to pay for a refill as many restaurants do so with their natural waters. I was very surprised and frankly grateful that my water was refilled free of charge! As an Arlingtonite, it is very awesome to have found this place and will definitely recommend to family and friends! read more

This hidden gem blew us away. This was easily the best Mexican meal I had during my four day trip to the DFW area. These tacos are authentic and fresh. Although Al pastor is usually my go-to taco, the chicken was the favorite, because of the flavor in the spices and the moisture. My friend ordered the quesadilla which seemed to have the same chicken and she couldn't stop eating it! This place is counter service and then I took my ticket to the outside patio for the laddies working the grill to prepare my plate. The restaurant is super casual, with music jammin' over the speakers, a fresh salsa bar and grab-n-go drinks, including Mexican Coke. It was full of local Mexican people dining there, which shows its authenticity to the cuisine. I noticed a drive thru and walk up counter outside too. I just can't get over how consistently delicious and cost friendly the food is here. The food at La Pullita was decent. I ordered a carne asada burrito with everything. It was very greasy and I was disappointed that it didn't have onions or cilantro. I went for the 6 dollar lunch special, this isn't really my type of food but my co worker wanted it. I got a half chicken, a cup of rice and cup of a gumbo type soup and a couple corn tortillas for the 6 dollars. It was definitely a lot of food for the price. The chickens here are cooking in a huge wood burning rotisserie. I haven't seen anything like it anywhere I've ever been. It's authentic. It's all right there behind the counter - including the fire, the chickens on the racks, and the huge wood pile just outside. The chicken is absolutely delicious, juice running out and tender. It comes with a couple of small cups of hot sauce, rice, beans, and tortillas. Half a chicken and sides, cooked perfectly from scratch for less than ten bucks. Saw this place on fb and caught my attention, I usually go to another famous chicken place but it has gone down,Quality wise. I'm glad I found this one not too far from Grand Prairie. The way the chicken is displayed when you walked in reminded me of the places in Mexico where you just walk by and the smell drags you to the puesto. They have the chicken rotating with wood burning at the bottom. Ordered a whole chicken with rice and beans and a pastor burrito. The skin of the chicken was seasoned really good and crispy, absolutely loved the flavor but like other rotisserie chicken that's where the flavor stopped, the chicken itself was just okay and had to constantly dip it in their green salsa which was very good. We saw a Facebook post about this place & decided to try it out. The chicken is pretty good, but not as good as pollo regio. The rice and beans are phenomenal! They are truly amazing! The beans have chorizo, cut up hot dogs, jalapeño, onion, cilantro, and I'm pretty sure bacon. You can see the chicken being cooked when you walk in over the fire and the onion & jalapeño are under absorbing all the juices. They do have other items on their menu besides chicken. Outside they had tamales and we're making fresh tacos on a final. I will def be back to try out more things. read more

I went to this place in February and the chicken was average a little dry but okay. The one thing that got my attention is the chicken doesn't taste like roasted chicken, it tastes more like oven chicken. The beans and rice were salty. I came to try out the chicken as I'd seen the restaurant had just opened and it's close to work. Drive thru wait time was less than 3 minutes. Was expecting some sort of Pollo Regio variation. I ordered the 1/4 Chicken meal with rice, beans and tortillas. That ain't no damn 1/4 Chicken there was at least 1/2 Chicken in there. Beans were amazing, not typical beans... frijoles charros, with bacon, sausage, and ham. Almost felt full from the beans alone. The rice is good as well, tortillas are a good size and they serve it with green/red salsa. I found the salsa not to be too spicy, so instead I took a bite out of the grilled Serrano peppers that complement the chicken. The chicken tastes great, I'd say better than pollo regio, just the right amount of seasoning and cooked perfectly and evenly. My favorite part were the abundant grilled onions that topped off my tacos perfectly. Will definitely come back, I already love this place. read more
