We came in here because we were craving some dessert as per usual Although there was a minor wait for our treats, it was all well worth it. We ordered the coconut ice cream, chicle (bubble gum) raspado, and Nuez (nuts- I believe it was walnut). They were all great! The portions were sufficient enough to satisfy our cravings. The staff were very friendly. One of the staff, I believe it might have been the owner, was nice and engaged in conversation with us. He offered information on the variety of candy he had for sale since he noticed I was very much interested in some of the tamarindo flavored candy. There is parking available in front of shop. This shop accepts debit cards and cash.

    Chamango!

I have tried many items at this location and each has lived up to the expectation! The staff are friendly and accommodating. Some visits they have taken a bit longer to make our order although every item is made to order, I will take quality over quantity every time! Keep up they great job!

Huge half a watermelon looks delicious !

We got the Sandía Loca ! Delicioso it's huge 4 people can eat this or 2 it's half a watermelon

They gave me these huge chunks of fruit, they didn't add the Japanese peanuts nor the chaka chaka candies. .

This is the worst Mexican snacks store I've been to. The area where they prepare is not the best kept sanitary. They are only doing take out and rush you out the door without the opportunity to check what thwy give you. They will treat you much better if you are male. I came here to support a local business, but with this treatment and quality of their snacks i will not be returning again. Better off going to LA Michoacana or making it yourself.

La Piña loca, banana split, no banana

We just came to Piña loca to order a banana split. You would assume A BANANA, ice cream, and toppings right? SIKE they gave me a banana split WITH NO FUCKING BANANA!! Wtf so I go back and tell them and now I have to wait for their co worker to go to the 99 cent store because the 3 bananas they had were rotten. Yet again we paid $7 for a banana split. ROTTWN FRUIT and screwed up orders.

Mango diablito and corn on the cob with hot cheetos

Stopped by here for a drink since it was pretty hot outside. I came around 1pm and the place had one customer. The overall layout of the place was very neat and clean. The lady helping me was nice and patient. I ordered a diablito and a corn on the cob with hot cheetos. The diablito was ok, I had better but it wasn't bad. After looking at the menu again, I think I should've had ordered the chamango instead. The corn was delicious though. I would come back again.

Awesome! So delicious & fresh. They have water based & milk based popsicles and ice creams. Fresh chopped fruit and junk food lol

Do not get the esquite! The corn is frozen and there's no taste at all. Very disappointed I threw it out after a few bites.

Great natural juices, prices are reasonable. The water based coconut popsicle is really good low on sugar.

It's a charming local spot with a cozy, intimate vibe that's perfect for a first date or a quiet night out. That said, the prices are extremely high for what's offered, especially if you're coming in with family. It's not the most affordable option for a regular dining experience, and that was disappointing considering how much I enjoy supporting local restaurants. If you're looking for a romantic, local place to try once, especially for a date night, I'd still recommend stopping by. But for families or anyone watching their budget, just be prepared for the higher price point.

We came for dinner, and the lighting was very dim, making it hard to read the menu (they also use QR codes, but I prefer a physical menu). We started with the ceviche verde limon, which had very little shrimp, lots of onion, and it needed more lemon. Our bartender, Carlos, was friendly and made excellent cantaritos (10/10). Unfortunately, the entrées didn't impress. The Camarones de Don Lupe were chewy and tasted previously frozen, however the salsa they came with was very tasty and the carne en su jugo was just okay. Overall, great vibe but overpriced for the food quality. I might return for brunch since I've heard they have live mariachi.

The food was delicious, well prepared, and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt cozy and relaxed. The only small downside was the coffee service. After our main dishes were served, we were pretty much forgotten when it came to refills. We had to ask several times for more coffee. Not a huge issue, but something that could definitely be improved. We would still come back for sure. Great food and a pleasant place for brunch.

We have been loyal patrons of La Casita for many years. But tonight they put us in the back room by the restrooms. Larger tables for larger parties. There was two larger parties back there and it was the three of us and my 88 yr old mother n law for her birthday. Well they were ridiculously loud the more they drank ( booze) the louder they were! I mean come on people you have no respect for others! We were just trying to have a nice dinner. I wanted to yell out "Shut the hell up!" But I didn't. They are not in their home for Pete's sake! I wish the establishment would have quieted them down. I couldn't even finish my dinner.... I took it home. So if you read this La Casita, please don't place a small party in a room with a lot of loud drinking people! We love going there but this particular evening was very disappointing.
