We came in here because we were craving some dessert as per usual Although there was a minor wait for our treats, it was all well worth it. We ordered the coconut ice cream, chicle (bubble gum) raspado, and Nuez (nuts- I believe it was walnut). They were all great! The portions were sufficient enough to satisfy our cravings. The staff were very friendly. One of the staff, I believe it might have been the owner, was nice and engaged in conversation with us. He offered information on the variety of candy he had for sale since he noticed I was very much interested in some of the tamarindo flavored candy. There is parking available in front of shop. they have new workers there and they don't know what they're doing at all. i walked in at 11 when they're supposed to be open, and there was a guy literally teaching two girls to work there on the job. the guy had a TERRIBLE attitude and then said that they don't open until 12, when they've always opened at 11. i also went there a few days prior to this experience, where the same guy and a young girl were working and i ordered a hot cheetos elote with EXTRA hot cheeto crumbs on top of it. the corn had barely ANY hot cheeto crumbs on it. half of the corn didn't even have any on it and half of it had a little bit. and mind you i even asked for EXTRA hot cheeto crumbs and there was absolutely nothing. it was like ordering a regular corn on the cob with a sprinkle of hot cheeto crumbs. AND i payed a dollar more for the "extra" hot cheeto crumbs and got nothing. i ordered a hot cheetos elote and they basically gave me a standard elote. worst 10 dollars i've ever spent. the old workers used to make it sooooo good. they've ruined this place, it used to be so good but now it has poor service, bad employees, and bad food. i used to come here almost everyday and now i am never going to come here EVER again. so sad that my favorite place has been ruined. definitely would not recommend coming here, it's not the same as it used to be. read more

Ordered a pina colada smoothie and it was terrible. $7 for a watered down drink with fake whipped cream. The girl seemed nice but she only spoke Spanish so I wasn't able to get exactly what I wanted or else I would've tried more. The place itself is weird in my opinion. This is the worst Mexican snacks store I've been to. The area where they prepare is not the best kept sanitary. They are only doing take out and rush you out the door without the opportunity to check what thwy give you. They will treat you much better if you are male. Stopped by here for a drink since it was pretty hot outside. I came around 1pm and the place had one customer. The overall layout of the place was very neat and clean. The lady helping me was nice and patient. I ordered a diablito and a corn on the cob with hot cheetos. The diablito was ok, I had better but it wasn't bad. It was our first time here, we ordered 3 smoothies 2 with water 1 with milk. The water ones were one with strawberries and pineapples the other was mango and pineapple and the milk one was mango and strawberries. Unfortunately these were all mixed up I cannot drink milk and mine had milk so I swapped mine with my sisters no big deal. As I go to drink this drink I didn't even want there's a dead knat in my cup!! I show the employee and she says, " oh that just got there" DISGUSTING! This knat was completely dead! Well I'm very pleased to see a new small business open here in the high desert. I really enjoyed the handmaid ice cream, elotes as well as the smart water. Now my reasoning for the two stars is due to the lack of customer service, unprofessionalism and nasty attitude. Especially from one of the older woman who just stands in the back and assist the young girls working the front. I could have given one star but I enjoyed the ice cream. At first this place was pretty good but after a few visits things got sloppy on their end. The corn on a cup is a hit or miss. The corn is either sweet or its bitter and not cooked fully, so it just depends on what you get which sucks. Then a few times we order the pico de gallo which includes pineapple, mango, watermelon ECT.. And they tell me they don't have mango or pine apple! Seriously?
