a hand holding a strawberry smoothie
Christine L.

Amazing drinks with friendly employees. Super clean and very affordable. They offer a lot of different options. They even have a candy quarter machine with gumballs and a healthy option- pistachios! Ordered strawberry smoothies. Tastes very fresh! Highly recommend this place to help cool off this summer! The only thing I would recommend is that they offer a size small or a kids cup option. They only sell mediums and larges and my kids couldn't finish their drinks.

a plate of food with a fork in it

They have horrible service, the ladies are very rude that take your order. They charge you way more for what you get. This is the 2nd time I order tostilocos and they give you more cueritos then chips and they cut their cucumber and jicama huge! Probably 8 chips if that and super soggy! When I called to complain about it the lady was rude and said that she couldn't do anything about it and to next time tell them to put more chips and less cueritos and hung up. This isn't the first time I get rude service like this en from them! I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I will not go again. Worst service ever, do not recommend!!!

Raspado de fresa con lechera
Seri V.

Best Raspados ever! No other place makes them this delicious. The price is fair and the staff is polite. Their drinks aren't too sweet or processed like other places. The taste is authentic and comforting. You can ask for a tamarindo stick or add lechera to any drink which makes it much more flavorful. I can't wait to go buy another

I was starting to look like a white girl with my marilyn monroe shirts and a starbucks cup in my hand every morning so I decided to try something manlier, FRUIT AVENUE!! heyy!! First impression: they could NOT have picked a worse location for a juice bar, surrounded by Goodwill, dollar tree, some $3 "fashion" store, aarons... I just didn't think they'd find their target customers here and sure enough there was nobody there. Anyway, I loved how they categorized their juice blends: weight loss, detox, energy etc ( http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fruit-avenue-victorville-2#vOJ-2NJFaeIKWVaxHrZAUg ) I picked the #1 under energy and asked for it to be blended with some ice, definitely giving me a nice rush and with no sugar added! It was a bit sour but still delish.. Also I know that this local chain is owned by a chick which is a huge plus for me, GIRL POWER!! I wish I could meet her and say hi, I love me some strong independent business women (I was raised by one so.. yeah) Aside from fruit drinks they sell fruit salads, simple sandwiches, crepes and classic coffee drinks (espresso, lattes, caps, cafe mocha) and they do offer them iced and blended I'm trying pina colada smoothie next. This is definitely inspiring me to make healthier choices, no more starbucks for me for a while

Jennifer L.

Durolocos- my fave. Fresh veggies and great snack Tostilocos- too much Chicharones for my liking but others probably love it Bionicos- my boyfriends fave. Detox juice- delightful

We could only eat seafood in Vegas and when i had ur chicken shawarma wrap i started crying so much i was so happy to eat a yummy shawarma. Thank u guys at the Victorville location! The cashier was so so kind and it uplifted my spirits after the bad fish tacos i had earlier in the day at a random cafe in Summerlin. And driving for hours. Easy and short menu but it seems like you guys have the recipes down. My husband came from afghanistan last year and he said he hasn't had a shawarma this good... EVER! Such yummy food that's halal. It's got a chicken shop vibe when u walk in. You order at the counter first and the food only took about 10-15 minutes to come out! Clean restaurant and clean bathrooms.

Several tables and high tops inside. Their menu is pretty extensive, more extensive then I would have thought. We placed a pick up order about 20 minutes before arriving, but had to wait another 10 min or so before it was ready. Drove to my family's house about 10 minutes away and opened up the containers and went to town. We ordered several of their dishes including their chicken shawrma, pita bread with extra garlic sauce and a kabob plate that came with hummus and outa and pickled vegetables. The food was good. Garlic sauce is not as good as I've had elsewhere. Chicken was tender and the beef was tender also. Unfortunately about 45 min later I was not feeling it. Ended up having some stomach issues afterwards. Won't gross anyone out with the details. But 3 of the 4 got sick and were not feeling good untill the next day. I dont think I'll be back here anytime soon.

Grinding their beef in house definitely makes a difference. I usually enjoy their Chickenator Fries but this time it looks like the recipe has changed. It still tastes good with their spicy sauces but I remembered that the chicken used to be pieces of grilled breast meat. This time, the cashier asked the chef if there was any chicken left for the Chickenator Fries. He said "yes," went to the freezer and showed her a frozen stick of ground chicken. Albeit, the ground chicken was seasoned well and tasted good; I was just expecting chicken breast meat. Also, the fries were very dark in my portion. They are still the same creamy textured Kennebec potatoes as before but seemed tired and old. Service was okay. They are not really set up for cash sales anymore since there was only 36 cents in their till for change at the time. Dining areas were clean but the interior is due for an update.

I had lunch today at the Panera Bread in Victorville, and unfortunately, my first experience at…read morethis location was overshadowed by something I found extremely disturbing. Raquel, the cashier who assisted me, was fabulous. She was pleasant, professional, and provided excellent customer service. However, while I was in the middle of placing my order, another employee, whom I later learned was Claudia, the General Manager, approached Raquel and began speaking to her in an extremely rude, demeaning, and verbally abusive manner. Claudia loudly scolded Raquel about where bread had been placed, telling her, "Don't you ever put this bread like that back inside," while pointing toward an area behind the counter. When Raquel attempted to explain herself, Claudia cut her off and continued speaking to her disrespectfully. I then witnessed Claudia yell at a male employee as well. As a customer, it was extremely uncomfortable and upsetting to witness. But I want to be very clear: this is bigger than how an employee should be treated in front of customers. No human being should ever have to experience verbal abuse. I don't care who you are, what your position is, or what mistake may have been made. Every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. This is especially concerning because I later learned that Claudia is the General Manager. A general manager sets the tone for the workplace and is responsible for modeling appropriate leadership, professionalism, and communication. This goes far beyond customer-service training. Claudia would benefit from immediate training in respectful workplace communication, leadership and supervisory skills, conflict de-escalation, emotional intelligence, psychological safety, and appropriate employee coaching and corrective feedback. If an employee needs correction or redirection, that can and should be handled professionally and respectfully. Leadership does not require humiliation, intimidation, or verbal abuse. In my professional work, I address occupational burnout, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, and workplace wellness. Workplace culture matters, and leadership behavior matters. When employees are repeatedly exposed to hostile, demeaning, or intimidating behavior, it can contribute to an unhealthy work environment and occupational burnout. I sincerely hope Panera Bread takes this complaint seriously, speaks directly with the employees who were present, investigates Claudia's conduct, and takes appropriate corrective action. I will also be forwarding my concerns to Panera Bread's corporate office. And to Raquel: Thank you for remaining professional and kind while assisting me despite how you were being treated. You provided excellent customer service, and I hope Panera Bread recognizes you for it.

The food came out quickly and was plated beautifully with both lemon and lime wedges. I was asked if I would like a mild, medium, or hot salsa. I chose the medium one but it had only just a little hint of a kick. It was a good tasting accompaniment for the seafood. The beer batter was crispy on the fish. There is plenty of shredded cabbage and a good crema on the tacos. Fish was very fresh and clean tasting. The grilled shrimp was seasoned well but were small and a bit dry. I would probably try the beer battered shrimp next time. Potato taco was crunchy and the filling tasted good. Altogether, the food was very delicious and left me feeling light. One of my favorite songs, The Smiths' "There is a Light That Never Goes Out" was playing on the stereo so that was very nice while dining. I will certainly return to try the other items on the menu.

I generally enjoy shopping at…read moreSprouts, but during a recent experience at the Victorville location, I uncovered a pricing discrepancy in the bulk department that other shoppers should be aware of. I was excited to find the YumEarth Assorted Fruit Chews in the bulk bins, as they taste like a favorite childhood candy of mine. On May 16th, I purchased them at the Apple Valley Sprouts for the price of $5.99/lb. However, when I visited the Victorville location on May 30th, the same candy was priced at $15.99/lb. I brought this massive 160% markup to the attention of a store employee, who told me that it was because the candy is organic (all YumEarth products are organic, including the $5.99 batch). After reviewing my receipts and store tags, Apple Valley marking the item as discontinued is the only difference between the two organic fruit chews. Since I care about consumer accuracy, I submitted a pricing concern (with receipt and bin photos) to Sprouts Corporate Customer Care over three weeks ago on June 2nd. I have received zero response besides the initial acknowledgment after I submitted the web form. Even if Sprouts corporate has since cleaned out the bins or officially removed the item, the fact remains that the system was actively overcharging customers on the floor, and management showed zero interest in auditing the error or following up with a customer. This has been disappointing, and the usually friendly Sprouts failed in this area. I haven't returned to shop at Sprouts since this occurred. As a consumer, I prefer to spend my grocery budget where pricing accuracy and basic customer communication are treated as priorities. Please double-check your bulk receipts at this location.
