The salty flavor definitely added another layer of flavor on top of the sweet caramel. The crepe was soft and the edges were crispy. Tap to pay is accepted. Overall Galette Café has easily fulfilled and exceeded my expectations for a crepe from France. I highly recommend the apple and caramel crepe for a sweet crepe.

We had reservations and were seated right away and definitely a smart move since this place is always packed. The ambiance was excellent. Ending Paris the Way I Started It -- With a Crêpe!…read more It was my final day in Paris, so naturally I decided to end my trip the same way I started it: with a crêpe! Instead of salmon this time, I went with chicken and ordered the Mykonos -- chicken, mozzarella, basil, and pesto -- and added spinach because, you know, fiber. The crêpe was delicious! Definitely the highlight of my visit, so shoutout to the cook because they did their thing. I also ordered an iced coffee with vanilla syrup, but what arrived was...not quite that. It was some sort of iced latte-ish drink that was very sweet. I'm still not entirely sure what I drank, but we were short on time, so I just rolled with it. The restaurant itself is really cute, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's in a great spot that gets lots of sunlight, so the natural lighting is chef's kiss -- especially if you're trying to get a cute brunch pic. Unfortunately, the service was pretty subpar. The woman behind the bar greeted us warmly and told us to sit wherever we liked, but once seated, our server didn't acknowledge us until I flagged him down. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded, yet he still seemed impatient and brusque throughout our interaction. Overall, I really enjoyed my crêpe and would absolutely come back for the food. Hopefully next time with a different server...and the iced coffee I actually ordered.

All were delicious and we cleared our plates, it was so good. I highly recommend!! P.s. bring cash for tipping (we hadn't been to the bank yet, and the credit card charges were for the meal only). The Monsieur host was very gregarious, and served the tourists and locals with the same warmth and care. 5+ stars!

ONE STAR DROP FOR POOR SERVICE. FOOD IS STILL SOLID 4 STARS!…read more Our initial experience was so memorable, we returned for a 2nd and final time before heading home to the U.S. We ordered the Paname, Bacon & Santiago galettes and only one of us ordered from specialty menu. The egg was perfectly cooked with the yolk perfectly runny. The ham reminded me of prosciutto, but not as salty and a bit thicker. Each galette was delicious and satisfying. We all shared the banana crepe (La Reunionnaise) for dessert. A satisfying ending to our meal. It was a bit busier on this visit and while we were seated promptly, it took a long time before we were able to order or receive any attention from our server--it appears that there was only 1 person handling all functions, other than cooking. The service was surprisingly different than our first experience. We saw a few guests leave due to lack of service however, we choose to stay because we wanted crepes for last dinner. The lack of service is the reason I had to drop a star despite our food tasting delicious.

It felt like a true delight. The room was comfortable but I wish it had offered a more cozy vibe. I suppose my expectation was a bit elevated but it felt as though I could have been dining anywhere - not Paris specific. Overall, a very nice restaurant that offered a delicious crepe.

I personally preferred it to the fancier sit-down Creperies, my favorite here being the savory crepes with poulet (chicken) and oeufs (eggs).
