The atmosphere within is always calm, quiet and serene, and the staff are very kind and let you browse without interruption, and are not pushy. Prices on what you would expect from a boutique shop: more expensive and say, a Walmart, but the quality of the items here is vastly superior, and comes with the bonus of not having to shop at a Walmart ( or any other big box retailer). Coming here is always a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of the rest of Bend. We picked up an outfit and some hair bows for our friend, who just gave birth to her first daughter. Seems like somebody we know is always pregnant or has just had a child every time to come through Bend, so this has become a regular stop for us! Hopefully next time we will be shopping for ourselves! What a great place!

I've been shopping at Stone Soup for almost 7 years now, but I love it even more under its new ownership. The shop has been renovated in a way that makes it feel much cleaner and more spacious, and there's a cute little play corner so your kids can entertain themselves while you browse. Everything feels much more organized and the consignment systems are digitized so I feel confident my records are all up to date. If you're shopping for something new (say for a baby shower or a newborn gift) there's now a new retail section with adorable cotton onesies and Montessori style baby toys. I've also been consigning with Stone Soup ever since the shop changed ownership. I love that you no longer need an appt and can drop in anytime, even if you just have an item or two, and that everything is consignment versus bought outright. My experience has been that everything sells really well, because the owner doesn't overcrowd the shop, and every time I come in I have money waiting for me. I can cash out my consignment money or use it as store credit (which I often do). And if you're been here and had an issue parking, it's improved now! The parking area has been enlarged so there are tons more spots, but make sure you scan and validate.

The fitting room area is always a disaster and hardly ever staffed leaving customers to throw their unwanted clothes wherever, yet it was so bad that they had customers try clothes on in their disgusting bathrooms that they never clean. Don't even get me started on the horrible customer service from the Assistant General Manager, Megan. I also heard the way she talked to associates and it is completely horrendous and no one should ever have to deal with that. The store is always in disarray, probably because no one knows how to fold the clothes or how to put them away correctly. Honestly, don't bother ever going into this Old Navy, your money would be better spent at Gap or even Walmart.
