La Panera Rosa has plenty of savory options for a quick bite on a lively patio. That said, service was lacking compared to other cafés, and they need to be a little more active in keeping vendors away from diners. Not great watching at least half a dozen hawkers walking among rows of customers, leaving pairs of socks on the tables and more, with no shooing away from management (other than to retrieve unwanted bundles of socks off of various tables when requested).

Yummy food, good cake, nice staff, gorgeous decor, loved the colors. The drinks looked great too.

Absolutely love this place. The prices are great. The plates are utterly adorable and it's in a fantastic location with lots of scenery! The staff is bilingual, which makes it very easy to order and they have a large menu unlike a lot of places in the area!

Everything is so pink inside! It may have been the distinctive color of the restaurant that first caught my attention, but after seeing the dishes and trying the food, I realized that this restaurant is definitely a step above! Every table is started off with a basket of warm bread, including crunchy breadsticks and 3 different types of soft bread. The basket came with a pink sour cream on the side (it had been infused with beet root)--how fitting for the restaurant! For my main, I chose the vegetarian salad, which was centered around a puck made of bulgur wheat, which was dense, chewy, and surprisingly delicious! The salad also came with lettuce topped with grilled tomato, baked pumpkin, sauteed broccoli, grilled avocado, tofu in a sweet soy marinade, and a sweet and tart passion fruit vinaigrette. What a lovely combination of ingredients that were both healthy and tasty! I also tried the lomazo sandwich, which was a generous portion of grilled beef topped with melted cheese, grilled onions, and a fried egg, served over lettuce and grilled tomato on a baguette. Though the meat was a bit tough, this dish was just so tasty and satisfying--definitely a step above your typical deli sandwich! The food at La Panera Rosa was so good that we paid a second visit, and this time I tried the Panera Salad, which came with lettuce, arugula, avocado, tomatoes, boiled eggs, purple onion, a sesame focaccia stick, tricolor corkscrew pasta, sauteed broccoli in pesto, and of all things, fried mozzarella sticks, which added a nice crunch! Yet another creative and delicious salad! I also tried the Lomo & Champignon Waffle, which was lomo salteado cooked with cheese, onions, tomatoes, and mushrooms, served over a chewy waffle and topped with a fried egg! The beef was so tender, and the onion, tomato, and mushroom added so much delicious umami flavor. I'd never expect a mixture like this to be served over a waffle, but it definitely works!

Part of a local chain in BA. This location at least was not great. Of the three items we ordered, two were not available but we were only informed midway through waiting for food to arrive. They were accommodating about this, but still lame. Food was pretty bland, which is surprising given the rich competition in this neighborhood. My Argentinian wife said this place has the worst bread she's had in this country. They have some vegetarian options, but they ain't great. The quinoa burger is super bland and uninspired, and the eggplant sandwich is a confused mess of vegetables cut in haphazard manners.

Had a great experience here! Waitresses spoke English and Spanish. The food was top notch and so good as well as their desserts. I highly recommend getting the 'Pink' cocktail. SO AMAZING! I've never been so full. And the service was great as well as the whole pink theme.

We really enjoyed this location. The food is above average. Sitting outside on a beautiful day actually makes the food taste better.

This burger shop is my boyfriend's favorite place to get burgers in Argentina. He says they must…read moreput something in the meat to make the burgers so addictive. We went here on a Tuesday and it was pretty open. They have a special burger of the week/month that is tested by the chef so you know it's good. I grabbed the Uncle Sam (and as an American it felt like I needed to) but I wish I would've gotten a regular burger to really get the flavor through. The place is nice and has good seating. Service was good and food came pretty quickly.

Another relatively new spot, this one I think about 7-8 months old at this point - and a five minute walk from home, I don't know why I haven't checked it out before, the menu of burgers always looked good. Although I was tempted by their eponymous sandwich, with a patty, arugula, pickles, bacon, brie, and the chef's special sauce, I went with the "weekly special burger", because I just couldn't pass up a burger topped with spicy cantimpalo sausage, provolone cheese, shoestring potatoes, roasted peppers, and "baconnaise". Pluses and minuses. Well seasoned and a great flavor, and a bun that matches the size of the burger and holds up to the last bite. Really good combo of toppings. The patty itself, however, is a bit wan... it's thin, it's small, I'd be surprised if it's more than 4-5 ounces, and, it's overcooked. The "cajun fries" are spectacular, almost worth entering the place just for those (and you have a choice of various sides to the burger). Good selection of about a dozen beers on tap, a Scottish red ale from Cerveza Kingston paired perfectly. 240 pesos for the burger and side, 100 pesos for a pint.
