I hate cutting my toe nails and i love great foot rubs. Went here to get a pedicure and lacey was there to greet me. I got the grand deluxe ($35 package). With some sparkle nail polish! Chairs we're typical massage chairs. No hot towels, wine, champagne, snacks or tea (yes those places exist) with my pedicure. But that foot rub though... easily made up for all the things I was missing at my regular pedicure place. It was so good I had to set my phone down and close my eyes and just enjoy the nirvana like trance I was put into by lacey and her magical hands. Friendly people. Only criticism is the chemical scent of polish is way too strong in the establishment. Otherwise great place! Ask for lacey!

I can get pretty picky with my nails. I've tried multiple nail salons in Wilmington and have finally found the place I'll make my regular stop. I'm getting married next month so I didn't want anything too extreme so I could keep my natural nails prepped for that day. I got a manicure, he massaged my hands really well, and was very meticulous on removing hang nails and cuticles. I got clear gel nail polish. He noticed I had a ripped nail and mended the nail with glue at no extra charge. He told me if it ripped again in the next week that he would fix it again for me! Unfortuantely it did rip, but it wasn't his fault (its in a bad spot). I'll be returning this week!

Go here!!!!! I've been getting my mani-pedies at LA Nails for a year now and refuse to go anywhere else. As a Chicago native, I can confidently say that this salon is of high quality with lower prices than my favorite nail salon spots back home. The staff is fantastic and makes you feel like a family friend. They remembered me on my second visit, which had me hooked. Emily, Lisa, Jennifer, and Johnny always finish my nails to perfection and makes sure I'm happy with the results too. If not, they'll happily fix it. There are more staff members who are just as wonderful too! So again, GO HERE!!! You will be happy that you did. Also check out the many other salon services they offer.

Being new in town and looking for a new place to get my nails done. I looked to Yelp and find a place.. Been to head to toe, essence nails, and a few other places. And I really was disappointed.. The pedicure was simple didn't ask if I wanted to upgrade or even what options they have just did a basic pedicure. I have no idea what happened my toe was bleeding, and for a few days after its been hurting.. Brought a family friend daughter with me she is 6 why was her pedicure half the time as mine but the same price. Her first time getting on and she didn't even get it done the right way. They seemed nice enough. Wasn't impressed for the most part and they couldn't even break a $20 so I could tip the two techs.. Really? Your a business.. I will return only if I am in a jam for time and other places are to busy..

LA nails was great to me! It has been three weeks and the nails haven't broken or chipped. The shape was exactly how I wanted. They took their time to fix any mistakes and make sure they were perfect! They are acrylics and it came out to $45 which was a bit pricey for me but they have lasted a long time so it is worth it. I will be back!

I used to go to la nails for 6 years until Emily sold the place. The way it is now is not even comparable to the LA nails I'm used to. My friend and I went in to get a simple gel color change... the lady that did our nails did every nail a different length (??) and was honestly pretty rude to my friend and I. Also tried getting us to get designs on our nails when we said no and then insisted my friend needed to get her eye brows done. Don't recommend going here.

Love this place! I'm shocked they don't have great reviews. The prices can't be beat and everyone is so nice. It's very clean and relaxing. I get gel x, gel pedicures, and eyebrows waxed it's normally around $100. Highly recommend!! read more

Louis is wonderful! My nails were incredibly damaged from dip powder and very very short and Louis took great care of them and made them beautiful! I tried liquid gel for the first time and it did not disappoint. I will definitely be coming back! read more

Jennifer, the co-owner of LA Nails (her husband is the other owner), was so accommodating and allowed me to come in 1/2 hour before closing for a complete mani/pedi. She made me feel welcome despite the late hour and took her time with my nails, making me feel comfortable and cared for like a regular, long-time client- even though she knew I was just passing through town. My nails look great and it was worth the $$. What a gem! read more

I went here with six girls for a wedding. They took care of us all and even opened up earlier to accommodate us. The service was 4 star. The techs spoke perfect English and made us laugh so much, it added to our girls day. The bride actually enjoyed their kindness so much she invited the entire salon to breakast after the wedding. We tipped the girls heavy and let them know how.much we appreciated their kindness, professionalism and smiles. read more

I hate to say this but I had scheduled a mani pedi party at LA Nails on Market Street. She told me she would have plenty of help for a party of 8 to 10 people. Our party was scheduled for 9:30 a.m I got there a few minutes early to check in to make sure all was good to go. Thank Goodness I did because when I got there the owner tells me that all her people had called and canceled on her due to Covid and wasn't coming in. She expected me to stay and have everybody continue to come in and said it would take her 4 hours to get everybody done. I re- routed everyone but against my better judgment let her go ahead and take care of my daughter's nails. She did such a hideous job it was rediculous and had the nerve to charge me for them. I unfortunately didn't notice her nails until after we had left the salon. Had I noticed I would not have paid her a dime Her fingernails were smudged and had polish all over her fingers. These girls were fantastic. My Boyfriend, his cousin and I went to get pre-Christmas Pedis after a big day of pre-Christmas sale shopping. It was pretty amazing. Our feet were tired and those soaks and massages were exactly what our toesies needed. The girls were engaged with us the whole time and full of personality, which made the experience much more fun. They even gave us a few tips, if you want a really good foot massage, go first thing in the morning! They get tired during the day from using those massaging muscles. The earlier you go, the less worn out they will be. Good advice! They did an amazing job and did not skimp on the process. My toes looked and felt like new :) It was a great way to wind down. read more

Went yesterday to LA Nails Ogden and this is how my nails look today! So I went back to get fixed and they wouldn't offer any kind if compensation for the paint job! Now make no mistake I will be headed else where for my paint job asap so the money isn't the issue it's the attitude when I came back...no one even took time to look at my nails to see what I was talking about. It could have been the lack luster performance from the gentleman in the middle chair when drying my nails. Either way I get my nails done faithfully and will continue to do so elsewhere! I called them & aaked about their pricing & she told me $25 for a full set & I thought since it was that cheap and the reviews were good I would try them out. She let me know that they were also free at the moment so I wouldn't have to wait to get my nails done. So I went and got my nails done today & it was the best service I've ever had. The customer service is great, they talk with you & joke around. My nails look perfect, he got sk close to the cuticle area that it looks like my real nail. Thid is the best they have ever looked out of every place I've been to (TT Nails, Nails Art, 5 Star Nails) For the quality of my nails, you can not beat the price. Definitely my new place to go faithfully. read more

They were busy but it was worth the wait. Strong smell but I have to give it five stars because the customer service was excellent and they're just so nice. This is my new, regular manicure/wax spot, since moving from Atlanta. I recommend Thanh, he is very good. read more

They would not honor a gift certificate that expired by a few days. This GC only allotted for 6 months. Most are a year. I understand the purpose of expiration dates but it was unfortunate there was no leniency or even consideration from a neighborhood establishment. I would have brought in additional money and tip for the salon as I wanted to treat myself more than the GC allowed. This is a neighborhood salon that I will not be returning to. read more

They would not honor a gift certificate that expired during a global pandemic. I called to ask if it was still valid considering salons were closed for about 3 months of the year, neat the beginning of the year when the certificate was still valid, but they said they could not. I understand having an expiration date but it would be nice to have some leeway considering the year we have all had. I will never visit this salon again. I will be looking for somewhere with much better customer service. read more

Found this place from Yelp & can only add to the positive comments. Staff was nice & friendly even funny. I am from out of town but locals seem to travel from far away because they like the place so much. I had a gel manicure & regular pedicure & my young daughter had a mini mani pedi. Prices were reasonable. Grab a slice of pizza from Brooklyn Pizza after. Someone recommended & said it was great Ny pizza & they were correct. read more

I took my roommate here for her 30th birthday. We both got Mani/pedis. I called the day before to male an appointment and arrived a bit early. They got is right in! Our nail techs were AWESOME! They were both very friendly and personable. It was nice to have a group conversation instead of just me and my friend talking to each other. And our nails look great. It was the best nail experience I've ever had! I will only be using LA Nails from now on. read more

So I have been looking for a nail salon since I moved here from Boston!! I tried to find a place near Carolina Beach that had good reviews but I didn't find them up to par with my standards!! This place was amazing walked with out an appt and had Ken he was amazing great massage didn't feel rushed at all!! Great place! Clean and professional! Pedi n manic special for 35 bucks! Can't beat their prices. Are they good? Yes. They clean n trim nails and remove callous, with a gentle tool. They always manage to fit me in but an appt. Works better. Massage chairs are excellent and all work. This is the place girls & guys! read more

I went for a pedicure the other day. Here's the good: no wait, great foot scrub/massage, reasonable price. Here's the not-as-good: they asked everyone else if they would like water or wine but my sis and I were not, maybe it was because we were already getting our nails painted but we weren't asked at all while we were soaking out feet for at least half an hour; the Nails came out cute but not what I pictured, I wish he asked me what color flowers I wanted. Overall I would definitely come back for another try if I'm in the area, but it wasn't worth the 50mile drive to get there. read more

absolutely terrible service. came here for my birthday with my boyfriend as a treat and am still sitting here an hour later waiting as the girl continues to tell me 5 more minutes (about 5 times she has said this). they started my boyfriend first and I am now getting up to leave as they still haven't started me. i got here at 4.05 and it's now 5.11, so this is disgraceful and terrible business practice. they keep accepting customers and are so backed up, without telling them it's over an hour wait. what a ruined and wasted late afternoon that could have been much better spent elsewhere. the girl who runs the place didn't even apologize when i got up after i left my chair, and now i can't even leave because my boyfriend is 1/4 of the way in. terrible customer service -- i 100% will not return here ever again. read more

Stopped by here on a whim as this is not my usual salon but was in the area. I was pleasantly greeted by the only two workers in there and took their time to show me what colors to pick from (instead of just saying hi and looking back down). Right away there was a good vibe because two obvious reoccurring clients were in there laughing and joking with the nail technicians. I did find it odd that there was only two working, but for my experience that was neither here nor there. I did wait about 10-15min. My nails were done beautifully and what AWESOME pricing, he didn't even charge for my acrylic removal. I will definitely be back. The customer service is outstanding! read more

Emily and all of her staff are amazing!!!! They are super personable and friendly. They were willing to stay after hours and accomodate my niece's entire wedding party of 13 after a salon in Mayfair, QT Nails, completely disregarded an appointment after being made 4 months in advance. Everyone in our party was extremely happy with the product and the service. I was so pleased with the service that i was back within a week getting another manicure and pedicure. I have finally found a nail salon worth returning to! Tracey put on a set of Pink & White acrylic nails and I LOVE them! They look like they should be on a Barbie doll. All of the staff is very outgoing and friendly, and we chatted an giggled the entire time I was there. My nails look perfect, they are smooth, completely even, and they use high quality products. So I tried LA nails, first impression was very clean and very pretty (well decorated) I got my toes and finger nails painted (white tips or french)and it was only $18! I don't know how I missed this gem. The location is convenient for stopping at the grocery store. Their prices are way better than other places around here and the employees were wonderful and of course the most important thing is that my nails are beautiful!
