Half a chocolate croissant. :)

Incredible pastries. Friendly service. This is half a chocolate croissant. I woke up as i was eating it. Very tasty.

Breakfast croissant got a thumbs up

The food was amazing! I had the meat scramble and my son had a breakfast sandwich. We both had leftovers (so took half home) and agreed that we would come back and probably share next time. The service was prompt and the gentleman at the counter was kind and friendly. The atmosphere seemed good - it was quiet (we were there mid morning) and the decor was neat.

New pizza with new crust

This is the new pizza they have. Old crust is gone. One of the main reasons I liked the other pizza was the crust. This cracker like "flatbread" does not come even close. Not buying pizza there again.

Great place for coffee and breakfast (I assume great for lunch too). Egg white salmon omelette, awesome coffee. It is in the sky-walk, so 2nd floor of this building. Easy to get to from the Marriott if you just follow the skywalk around. This was $14. Worth it.

Avocado Omelette

Egg white omelette with spinach and avocado. Something nice and simple that you can't go wrong with.

Smoked Salmon sandwich. Tried not to drool on it while I took the picture.

I had previously only eaten the exquisite pecan-encrusted cinnamon rolls at La Mie Elevate. I try and avoid La Mie Elevate, because those tasty little (huge, actually) pastries are both addictive and delicious. It doesn't help that La Mie Elevate is on the skywalk level of Two Ruan, where my office resides. On Wednesday however, I wanted lunch, and I wasn't in the mood for the skywalk-oriented food courts. So, I decided to check out the lunch options at La Mie Elevate. I was very surprised to see how affordable many of the options were. They have quite a few salads, soups, and sandwiches available. I listened to the soups of the day, and they were not what I wanted. The salads also didn't really meet my requirements either. The sandwiches however, were a different story entirely. I saw a Smoked Salmon sandwich. I was intrigued. Upon further perusal, it was clear that this was basically the equivalent of a lox bagel, only on bread. I was sold. For just under $7, it was pretty hard to argue with. They often have rows of the sandwiches pre-made, but they were out of the Smoked Salmon, so they had to make me one fresh. No complaints from me on that one. I had my sandwich within a few minutes and went back up to my desk on the 14th floor. I opened my sandwich, and immediately began drooling. The sandwich was huge. There was a LOT of smoked salmon, a bunch of capers, a pile of onions, a few slices of tomato, and a healthy dollop of cream cheese on the bottom. Oh my. The first bite was wonderful. The fresh bread was soft, the smoked salmon meaty and delicious, the capers nice and salty, and the cream cheese rounded everything out. It was a damn near perfect bite, as were all the subsequent bites. It took me all of about four minutes to devour the entire thing. It was phenomenal. I like getting the smoked salmon bagels from Bruegger's, but this was some next level smoked salmon action. The amount of food you get here for the money paid, and the quality of that food, is quite impressive. I now have a new option for my lunch hour, I just have to make sure to avoid La Mie Elevate during breakfast, so I am not seduced by the Pecan encrusted cinnamon rolls. *wipes away drool*

This location is bigger and better than the other location downtown! There are many pastries laid out on the counter to tempt you as you wait in line to order. I want to try it all! The staff is always very helpful which is great because they can get pretty busy. I usually go early or after the lunch hour. Theres more dining space at this location. They still have the made and ready to go foods too. Ive tried the snoked salmon sandwich and salmon & wild rice. Both turned out great. I also had the nouget and a deliscious blueberry pastry. I will definitely be a regular here!

Right as you walk in, you're greeted by a wall of epic mullet photos. We're talking glorious, vintage, feathered masterpieces--like a shrine to the greatest hairstyle in history. It's weird, it's wonderful, and it sets the tone for the rest of your experience. Now let's talk food. I had the avocado toast flight, and let me just say--it's not your average avo toast. Fresh, flavorful, creative toppings--each one better than the last. My friend got the chicken and waffles, and it was everything you want: crispy, fluffy, sweet, savory, and totally addictive. Top it all off with riverfront views, a breezy patio, cold drinks, and some of the friendliest service around, and you've got a place that's just begging to become your new favorite brunch spot. Mullets is fun, quirky, and seriously tasty. Come for the laughs, stay for the food, and leave already planning your return trip.

We started with a delicious Tupelo Margarita and a dark lager beer, from their good selection of tap beers. For our dinner, my wife ordered the Tupelo Shrimp & Grits (see picture) and I opted for the Smothered Chicken with cream corn and green beans (see picture) for sides. As we've come to expect from our visits to Tupelo Honey, both main dishes as well as the sides were delicious - chicken was crispy and juicy and both the Shrimp & Grits and cream corn were buttery and creamy. Side of Mac & cheese and grits. Both sides were cold when they arrived in front of me and both were quite bland. Although the server was kind, I felt a bit ignored- after food arrived, I was only checked on once and then the check. When I arrived, I sat next to a filthy table that was empty when I arrived. It wasn't cleaned at all for the duration of my almost hour visit which made me not enjoy the environment as much. There were also 7 other tables that were dirty around me and have all been empty since arrival - I've attached photo. Music was nice, corporate people dining here, moderate pricing. Honestly came here because the reviews looks great and although the food looks great, could just use a bit more seasoning. Probably won't come back here, unfortunately. For the price, I can find other areas that excel in the areas noted above.
