Chilaquiles with side of breakfast potatoes, pancake, OJ and coffee.

This place was super neat! There was a minimal wait time as I was a single diner. Recommendation on solo travels, ask for the bar. The food was delicious and loved the atmosphere. P.s. the pancakes are huge, so order accordingly

NOT what we were expecting! We were totally thinking "jam" as in "jelly" -- NOPE! This is "jam" as in "Ooh! This my jam!" Walked in to Ja Rule "Living It Up" ... already a plus! Food was excellent! Brandon made sure our potatoes were extra crispy, I had a vanilla pump in my coffee, and that we were well taken care of. 2 root beers 1 coffee w/vanilla pump and cream Yo Home to Bel Air +queso California Love All Eyes On Me $61 not including tip Bathroom was decent. No hook to hang my purse but I was able to hang it on the door jam. Walked out to "Regulators" ... pumped up my mood for the day!! Overall: MUST GO!!! Prices were decent. Atmosphere was amazing. Service was fast and efficient.

I had 2 eggs over medium, seasoned potatoes, bacon and whole wheat toast. My daughter had French toast. The time was 10:30 am and the place was about 45% capacity. Our order was brought to us in less than 5 minutes. Obviously, the food is precooked and in a warm plate. My food was served at the tail end of keeping. The seasoned potatoes were not warm and looked over-nuked. The eggs were the only thing fresh. The bacon was decent and warmish. The toast was not warm enough to melt the butter I put on it. The server was polite and attentive. He did however say that my meal would be plentiful, it wasn't. I ordered a side of seasoned potatoes when my meal arrived. It arrived in less than 2 minutes, again not warm and looked over microwaved (wrinkled up). My daughter said her French toast was fluffy and delicious. She was impressed with the cool whip on the side, said it was yummy. We had water for drinks. The total was almost $34. Fairly priced if the potatoes would have been freshly cooked. I left a $5 courteous tip for the server. The ambiance was nice and casual. I would definitely go back for a glass of ice water. It tasted amazing and refreshing. Over all, small portions and lack of freshness. Time it right and maybe you can get it fresh.

Great atmosphere, with a hip vibe. Nice variety of items on menu. Fun descriptions...all that to say the Food was fine. Avocado toast, rather small portion and no sides for $13. Potatoes were lukewarm at best. However, the breakfast Burrito (Rump Shaker) was delicious. This was a Friday morning with a busy restaurant

Growing up in Texas one gets used to flavorful and sausage seasoned Biscuits & Gravy. My portion of this entree was deliciously seasoned, but light on the sausage which to me were only pin size droplets. I fixed that by ordering a sausage link to entice the gravy, wait staff was gracious and very helpful in assisting me with what to order. Music that catered to the Gen Z group played in the background while customers enjoyed their well portioned entrees. The atmosphere is very trendy with a very creative menu that allows you to relax on their well worn furnishings.

Our waiter was so friendly and great. The food was absolutely delicious and for a great price! You will definitely have leftovers and the 90s music in the background is a vibe.

Only a glimpse of the art work inside. We sat outdoors, but I literally LOVE the decor.

Eggs & Jam did that! An ode to hip hop with the food/drink titles & ambiance. Reading through the menu was such a joy. It's not black owned but clearly we are the blueprint I had one of the Bad Boy Biscuits (which our excellent server highly recommended)-- The P Diddy: bacon, cheddar, fried egg, and avocado, smothered with gravy. Added a side potatoes because you already know. Every single artery is clogged, but it was delicious! If you're ever in the Des Moines area, this is a must!

Great time at Eggs and Jam!

Amazing food, ambiance, and service. Food was impressive, staff was friendly, service was quick. What a great breakfast and brunch spot! I love the murals and decor.

Super cool vibes in here. It is hip hop themed with graffiti art of rappers on the wall, and they have a fire playlist of old school classics. The breakfast egg rolls were phenomenal especially with the cilantro sriracha sauce. The biscuit sandwiches were great, it was hard to choose which one I wanted, and the pancakes here are absolutely ginormous. I recommend the iced chai, it was crafted to perfection. Next time I'll have to get the mimosa flight, it looked like a good crowd pleaser for sharing. Service and wait was way faster than I thought it would be, especially for how busy they were on a Sunday morning for brunch. I could tell the staff was hustling and working well together to get people in as quickly as possible. Thank you!

4.0* (out of 5) Food: 5* Atmosphere: 4* Value: 3* Service: 4* 08/06/2022 This place has been on my Want to Go list for a while and got the chance to go after kayaking nearby with our son and daughter-in-law. There was nothing fancy about the exterior (see picture), but once we stepped inside (see picture) I was impressed with the modern, clean and 'edgy' atmosphere. We started with drinks (Supa Dupa Fly, Car on Cruise & Natural Aphrodisiac) - and they were all fantastic! They come up with some interesting names for their drinks and they all seem to be great combinations - hats off to the cocktail mixologist! For our meal, I ordered the Fight! For your Right to Pudding (see picture), my wife ordered the Sean Combs (see picture) and my son ordered the Mimosa Chicken and Waffles (see picture). We enjoyed all of them and I especially enjoyed the Fight! For your Right to Pudding (just be prepared though...it is a LOT of heavy food, so you will likely be taking some home with you). Hit Em Up Breakfast Sandwich

Ventured over to Eggs and Jam for the first time to have breakfast with some co-workers. The food was delicious. I had the Hit 'Em Up sandwich and took the Raspberry Donut Cheesecake to go. I would highly recommend both. The 90's rapped themed menu items, radio playlist and decorations had me loving the place as soon as I walked in. A fun place for breakfast for sure!

Brotherly love up front pancake to the right 'You can touch this' (breakfast egg rolls) bring up the rear

Fun environment. Food tastes amazing ! Probably just a one off the cubed potatoes came out cold l. But again they had great flavor !!! The egg rolls (You can touch this) and Philly cheese (brotherly love) biscuit meals were both phenomenal ! OMG that pancake tho! Those crispy edges **chef kiss**

The host worked to get everyone seated as quickly as he could. A server was at the table almost immediately for our drink order, and they were served in no time. There is quite a selection of breakfast and lunch items to choose from, and I settled on The Classic. I really liked the option for a small cake instead of toast, and I enjoyed that tremendously! The ham steak was thick, juicy, and flavorful, and the eggs were scrambled perfectly. The hash browns were a little bland, and I would rather have had an option for breakfast potatoes instead. But the meal was good and reasonably priced for the portions. For those who like coffee, there is a wide selection of options. The place is cozy inside with warm colors and all of the workers were extremely friendly in their interactions with customer. I felt very welcome and the table was well taken care of throughout the meal. The restaurant itself is nestled in a strip mall off the main street, so it isn't something I would know was there if I were just driving by. But now that I know it is here, I will definitely make a return trip to try additional items on the menu that caught my attention (I'm looking at you apple and blueberry bread, cinnamon rolls, and crake!)

We've driven by this place and talked about stopping for food before and my wife had been there with co-workers after work one day, but this was our first stop for food. A clean, modern storefront greets you (see picture) and with plenty of televisions and a nice patio, it looks to be a hopping place once the temperatures warm up a little. While our server was a little hard to find at times, we both found our food to be quite good. My wife ordered the Nacho Burrito Meal (see picture) and I opted for the Honey Citrus salad (see picture). As is our custom, we shared samples of each of our meals and both of us found both choices to be worthy of ordering again. I really liked the clean, crisp and fresh salad with a delicious tangy dressing and the Burrito was tasty inside and out (loved the creamy, cheesy sauce). If you are looking for a great stop for Sunday morning brunch (possibly after some shopping at Sam's Club just across the interstate to the North), you won't go wrong here! We were greeted and asked if we were dining in (it appears they do a brisk takeout business) and were told to sit where we wanted. It was surprisingly crowded for a Sunday afternoon at 4 pm. The menu is extensive and hubby and I both like Mediterranean food. I chose the Falafel plate, served with five falafel balls, hummus, a pita, and Greek salad. The portion was generous (ended up taking two falafel home). Served with tahini and their house green sauce (olive oil, cilantro, and jalapeño) It wasn't spicy but it was so delicious - I could get addicted to this thinking of all the other ways so could enjoy it!! The Greek salad was served with house dressing - garlic and yogurt, also very good. The falafel was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and flavorful. The hummus was not at all grainy - smooth but just a tad bland. Hubby had the lamb skewers and liked them very much. Served with rice, salad, and hummus. He also took one of the skewers home. We both had the mango Fresca juice. A bit too sweet for me but I generally drink unsweetened beverages. Hubby liked it a lot.
