    3 tacos

Amazing! A hidden gem in an unassuming area, connected to a Mexican grocery store, La Mexicana is definitely for the locals. I came with my Mexican friend who said these were by far the most authentic tacos in the Cleveland area. Everything, including the tortillas, are freshly made to order. I tried three different types of tacos and they were all scrumptious. The best part is that they are almost all only $2 each! I've already been back since my first visit! Highly recommend.

These guys make the best burritos in town! I always get the potato and cactus (napoles) burrito. Each comes with a container of flaming hot sauce. Use with caution if you're not used to the heat. The Mexican grocery store has everything you'll need to make your own burritos, tacos, whatever. The produce is cheap and usually nice. They have a butchers counter and have a case with fresh baked Mexican pastries. Lots of candies, spices and sodas to choose from. The staff is very friendly as well. It does help if you speak Spanish but not absolutely necessary. I highly recommend visiting this location! Oh...and there's a state liquor store on the other side of the building!

yes, that's actually cheese. EXTREMELY BURNT CHEESE.

Pretty sure the chicken was boiled - it defiantly was not grilled. Also, if you enjoy burnt cheese with your food this place is for you. Should have gone to Taco Bell right down the street....

    Tacos!

Do not even think about going anywhere else to get a taco! Literally the best place ever!

I've been stopping here whenever in town for the past couple of years and they never disappoint. Affordable prices & super flavorful food. We always order food and then shop around the market while waiting. Worth the stop if you're in the area! I don't eat meat, so I always get the potatoes and cactus (papas con nopales) which comes with rice and beans. They have plates that come with sides but they also have tacos, quesadillas, etc.

Authenticity is the best description for the food here. It's a small place, but the food is delicious and not over priced.

Has all shopping needs in one spot, like the Tamales they have on the weekend! Limited parking spots though.

I'm glad I came in early on a Saturday because by the time I left the entire parking lot was full of cars I don't blame them cuz everything was amazing. First time I went I got the seafood fajitas they were amazing they were filling and they gave me extra fajitas shells second time I went I got the seafood burrito not quite as good but it was really good. I think I'm addicted

The bartender/host was super friendly. I ordered shrimp tacos, which he said were "really good." Hurrah! I waited maybe 10 minutes, and a trio of piping hot corn tortillas (my fave) packed with shrimp and peppers & onions were ready. Chips, a small container of freshly made salsa, and a large container of Spanish rice came with it. I was kinda shocked at the large bag I was handed. The food was good. The shrimp fresh; the peppers and onions cooked perfectly. It needed something - guacamole? Cilantro? Still, the tacos were good. The salsa - while fresh - needed something, too - a bit more cilantro? It just lacked a bit of flavor. All in all, though, it was a good lunch. If I'm back in town, I'd definitely go again.
