Receipt of our Dinner last night.
    Joy R.

As we came in the door we were welcomed nicely. We were allowed to chose our own seating area. The noise level was the bare minimum. The place was neat and clean. The waiters served us right away. The food tastes great. If you love Mexican cuisine this place I would recommend. Be careful though of the appetizers be sure of what you're getting and it's price. They are accommodating of large or small groups. There is plenty of parking. You will love it. $30 per person approximately.

Leaving an update on our last visit. We tried something new and again- how is this place not packed with people!? AMAZING Husband ordered the Pollo Jinete which was grilled chicken w bacon, chorizo, onions and cheese dip. He was blown away by the amount of food (and bacon) and said it was the best Mexican dish he ever had (and we love Mexican). I ordered the Pollo Michoacán which was chicken with peppers, onions, tomatoes and zucchini w cheese sauce. Was delicious and definitely enough fit lunch tomorrow. Ordered a pitcher of skinny margaritas and will agree it was good - but a bit weak on the alcohol side ‍ Don't overlook this place!!

    SPEEDY GONZALES

We stopped here for a late lunch after touring President Garfield's home. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! Fresh tortilla chips and salsa kept coming! The special lunch was Speedy Gonzalez for just $5! I got the vegetarian quesadilla which had an amazing assortment of veggies in it. My kids got the traditional taco salad and hard tacos which they both gobbled up! The atmosphere was a little run down, but you could tell they kept things clean.

This is our third stop on the Lake County Taco Trail. We haven't been disappointed yet! We were immediately greeted with a friendly server who brought us complimentary chips and salsa. And yes the tomatoes were roasted in the salsa!! That makes it. The Al pastor tacos were spiced to perfection and came with charro beans. Like this on occasion instead of refried beans.

The rice you can tell is made, as well as the beans.. definitely not from a can. We got the queso which I forgot to get a picture of, but it was more like melted cheese queso than canned queso. The salsa was fresh and just the right amount of spicy. I ordered their seasonal special Azteca which were dough rolls filled with chicken, corn, and black beans covered in a chipotle-like sauce. They were my favorite thing I tried here, so so good. Of course we also ordered sopapillas, and they were much like an elephant ear with chocolate Hershey's sauce and whipped cream on the side. I would have rather had a caramel sauce and a small portion of vanilla bean ice cream on the side.. but as is it's great. I would say the quesadilla was very soupy at the bottom from the fresh meat juices, maybe the meat should be allowed to rest a little longer before it is sliced and put into the shell, but for those that don't mind a bit of a soggy bottom the flavor was unique and delicious anyways! This will definitely make our top list of Mexican food places in the area, family friendly and very affordable. They have a happy hour from 2pm-6pm that saves you money on appetizers, and for two cheese quesadillas, a giant steak fajita quesadilla, Azteca Special, sopapillas, and one soft drink we came out to under sixty dollars. Can't beat that.

I ordered a chicken chimichanga a-la-carte and it was huge! Loved the diced chicken inside instead of the typical shredded. Overall a great experience as always!

It's honestly one of the best mojitos I've ever had, even despite it being NA! The chips and salsa were tasty, and the rest of our meal came out much sooner than we were expecting. My wife's chicken fajitas were steaming hot and flavorful. I had the arroz con pollo with a side of refried beans, and it was wonderful! All the food was fresh, flavorful, and piping hot. I really enjoyed the melted queso with my chicken and rice. It was such a treat! The atmosphere in the restaurant was super fun, too! The music was lively, the decor was vibrant, and most importantly, everything was clean. What more could you ask for? We will most definitely be coming back for more in the near future!

I got there around 5:50 ish on a Monday night and as I did more and more people were shoeing up as it was hard for my pals to find parking. The ambiance was great as there was people of all ages. It was a little loud and a few kids crying at one point but it was drowned out by laughter and subsided. We sat inside. They do offer outdoor seating as well. One of my coworkers got Pollo Con Crema and the other got chicken Fajitas which came out sizzling and WARNING the plate is super hot haha Mala came around with looked like a squeeze sauce bottle and was allowing tasting for those who wanted. She was very attentive and refilled our drinks and waters without hesitation (even remembered my lime in my diet Pepsi!)
