There were only two teachers during our time there who consistently provided the level of care and professionalism I expected: DaLynn and Chloe. They were kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about the children. Unfortunately, they were the exception rather than the rule. One of my biggest concerns was that my son's emergency seizure medication was lost or misplaced while in the daycare's care. As a parent of a child with a medical condition, this is simply unacceptable and could have had serious consequences. For the cost of both regular childcare and the summer camp program, I expected a much higher standard of care and organization. Instead, there were frequent staffing issues that appeared to stem from poor employee management and retention. My son was constantly moved from room to room with very little consistency, making it difficult for him to establish routines and relationships with his teachers. Because of the lack of adequate staffing, my 4-year-old was repeatedly placed in a classroom with 2-year-olds. Over time, I noticed this negatively impacted his behavior and even caused regression in his potty training. I was also disappointed by the lack of any structured educational curriculum. Most days seemed to consist primarily of "free play," with very little evidence of age-appropriate learning activities or intentional instruction. For the tuition being charged, I expected an environment that actively supported children's educational and developmental growth. Safety was another major concern. The front desk was frequently unattended during drop-off and pick-up times, and I regularly observed exterior doors being propped open, creating an environment that did not feel secure. There was also a documented incident during our time there in which a teacher forgot about and left a young child outside unattended. Texas Child Care Regulation contacted our family because my son was in the same classroom, making this incident especially concerning. The most alarming incident for my own family occurred when my mother was able to pick up my son for the first time without being asked for identification or being recognized by staff. Knowing that someone unfamiliar to the daycare could leave with my child without proper verification was deeply concerning. Every parent deserves to feel confident that their child is safe, well cared for, and in an environment that supports their growth and development. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. While I am grateful for the care DaLynn and Chloe provided, the repeated concerns regarding safety, staffing, consistency, lack of educational structure, organization, and overall quality of care ultimately led us to make the decision to leave.

Creative World has been a wonderful place for our little one to attend pre-school and we couldn't have asked for more caring or professional teachers, front office and director. The employees at Creative World go above and beyond, providing our little one a safe, clean and enriching learning environment. The facility also works diligently during COVID to keep the facility extra clean and the kids as protected as possible. Although the entire experience has been superb, we think the following points deserve special emphasis: The staff: From the front office, to the teachers, director and owner, the staff goes above and beyond to provide a safe, friendly and enriching environment for our daughter. They communicate clearly and often to ensure we understand what our daughter is learning and any additional resources she may need. Both the director (Ms. Amy) and owner have made a significant effort to meet our family and welcome us into the facility. The teachers in our class room (Ms. Kenna, Ms. Gabby and Ms. Rubby) have been wonderful. They provide tons of pictures and written updates via the app to let us know what our little one is learning and experiencing every day. The activities they do seem highly enjoyable and involved, much more than we would normally provide at home. The learning experience: Our little one has attended several pre-school/day care like facilities and has never experienced the level of development she has achieved at Creative World. We noticed just after a few months of attendance that our little one has made several noticeable developmental jumps. She is also extremely happy going to the school and has never complained or cried when we dropped her off -- something that we can't say for other facilities. If our 2 year old is obviously thrilled to go and has no issues getting dropped off, I think it is safe to say Creative World is doing something right. Overall, I would highly recommend this pre-school to any family looking for a safe and enriching experience for their children.

We will miss the teachers, Jordan, Tanya, and Indu tremendously but will be forever grateful for the care and instruction they have provided to our family. In our current culture, where educational systems are pressured to meet the ridiculous and non age appropriate academic standards, it was non negotiable that our child was able to be a child. He has plenty of time to be pressured. The Montessori Work provides the true school readiness at my child's pace. Increasing his focus, self regulation, intentionality, task completion, and an understanding of the world around him. Not the rote memorization of letters and numbers that are as meaningless as us memorizing Mandarin characters when done inappropriately. There is definitely the introduction of these objectives, but they aren't pushed on the students who aren't socially ready to absorb the content. The teachers follow the student lead and support their academic readiness when students show the signs that they are ready. Kindly and appropriately challenging students by meeting them where they are at. I could write a novel about how this school has supported my child's social/emotional and academic well being. I will leave it with the fact that I have been in early education and public K-12 education for nearly 20 years. We need more schools like Young Minds who truly tend to student social, emotional, and academic readiness to inspire the foundation of life long love of learning.

But we weren't going to move her unless we could get her into a new place. I received a phone call to come in and to tour the school and was informed they are waitlisted and won't have space. On that call, I mentioned that maybe it's best I just skip since we're only trying to move if we can get in her somewhere, not just to waitlist. They said no please come in and tour, it's very likely we can get her in after I mentioned I wasn't going to tour then. I toured the school. It appeared nice; kids looked happy. After speaking with the owner for a bit she kept mentioning there's people on her waitlist that have been ghosting her multiple attempts to enroll and it's very likely she will get in. "just give her a few days". We regretfully signed up my daughter on the waitlist and signed up my son for after school care that wouldn't start until the fall school year begin. Well days became weeks and still nothing. I attempted to contact the school to try to get some information on what was happening. The first day I the phones weren't working. I was later able to contact the Assistant Director who was unable to provide me any information or help me whatsoever. Not sure how an Assistant Director can't provide any information on what is going on with the status of my daughter if you're the Assistant Director. I explained other schools have openings and I need to know what is going on with my daughter being the fact it was basically 'duped' to us that she would get it. They would not provide me any information. We ended up having to enroll in another school because I can't take the risk of not getting in when they have space because another school is unable to provide me information. Eventually they reached out the following week and was like yeah, you're SOL and this is good feedback for the future that we should provide communication. LOL what? We said forget it and disenrolled our son for after care well over a month before anything was supposed to start. In the end my family and I are out $900 and my kids never even seen the place. I honestly don't even think they situation we were told about was true and they just lied/duped us to make it seem like she would get in and took our money. I understand paying a deposit. Everyone does it. Although Goddard is certainly the highest, I've ever seen. It's nearly double the Preps and Primrose. What is terrible is the about half of the $900 is for other 'fees, future enrollment, supplies" etc. whatever they want to call it. Besides the deposit, the rest of that money should be returned to us. My kids never even went to the school and disenrolled week above months' notice. I hope they enjoyed our $900 and making us feel duped to think we'd even get it in. If you tour the school, do not sign up unless you have a spot.

In addition to the preschool curriculum, I love that the kids change rooms for art, gym, computer, music/movement, and library, and that the older kids have daily Spanish class, and plenty of field trips to give them a hands on opportunity to learn about life! Although there is some turnover, many of the teachers who were there when we started 3 years ago are still there, as is most of the management. The teachers and staff are all friendly, competent, and in general, do a great job of communicating with the parents. I love that there are also options for 'extra curricular' activities on site - Soccer Shots, Tumble bees, Dance, and swim lessons - not to mention the splash pad/on site pool for summer fun as well! We could not be happier with Abacus - highly recommend!
