Very positive environment where they focus on being a fantastic team that wins, as well as it being fun for the athletes. Top notch coaches who really care!! My daughter went from a back walkover to a full tuck in one year. They will check the parents who go overboard, which I appreciate - makes sure the coaches are the ones to instruct the athletes and keep the atmosphere positive! My daughter started going to Tumble Tech last year for SNL- Saturday Night Live, it's a great open gym night where the kids are able to have full access to all the trampolines, foam pits, tumbling spaces and par kore gyms. It's great for all ages. They have staff on duty to keep kids safe and even show them different tricks. It's from 6pm to 9:30pm. For $20 and they get pizza too! The gym is clean and well organized. Easy sign up online. I love being able to drop my daughter off with her friends and let her burn off some energy. They offer a variety of regular classes as well. Reviewing this place for parkour and not gymnastics. First off, this location is ENORMOUS. There are two massive rooms dedicated to tumbling on those giant springy floor things. That's pretty cool, and the gymnastics and dance kids seemed to be having a blast. But the double decker parkour gym is really good here. On the base level, there are bars (and mats below) for swingers of all abilities. Short bars, tall bars, far bars, bars attached to the wall, between pillars. You can bar to cat on some obstacles. Plenty of creative opportunities here. Then the upstairs parkour area has a number of ways to ascend. Three Ninja Warrior style running ramps will take you up one side, while a giant set of jumps will take you up the other side. There's a huge foam pit up here for trying tricks, a trampoline/wall tramp for more tricks, and at the top most level, some basic ramps, boxes, vaults, and equipment. Don't be stupid on the top level, always test your surfaces first and see which walls are for jumping and which are just there to let you know not to go past this area. Very common for gyms, but I like to try everything, so just touch it first and if it's thin/shaky/slippery/breakable/not intended to jump on, then don't jump on it. One of the best elements of both top and bottom courses are that they have many moving pieces. And as always, parkour people are friendly and ready to help if you need it. We just hosted my son's 5th Birthday here and it was awesome. First, the customer service was wonderful. My first inquiry and and all follow up questions were answered in 5 mins! Far exceeded my expectations. The faculty was clean and new, the staff at check in were super nice and welcoming, and the party room was ready for us at check in. We had two coaches that helped with the party- everything from set up to helping the kids do an obstacle course. The coaches quickly picked up kids's names and were great with all ages. It makes me sad to write this review because just last week I would've given 10 stars. My 4 year old has been going to Tumble Tech for a little over a year and she absolutely loves it. Her coach, Mikayla, is amazing, the gym looks new, clean, and in good condition, they have fun extra events and contests, and it's overall just a highlight of our week. I have no tumbling experience and honestly do not care about her abilities, but she is strong and I've noticed that she can do "tumbling" activities at least a little more than most kids her age who aren't in gymnastics, so I think she's definitely learning. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because this place is absolutely not safe if you have a toddler. Two years old and up with a decent attention span will be fine here. Babies who can be worn in a carrier or sleep in a carseat - no problem. Curious, always active, 13-23 month olds...forget about it! The times I've tried to keep my youngest upstairs, she has fallen and hit her head on the bleachers (there are sharp metal angles everywhere), she has tried to walk down the stairs (see photo - there is nothing blocking either set of stairs and it's a very long, hard fall). I almost have a panic attack thinking about how I could be trying to take a picture of my daughter doing gymnastics while my 1 year old climbs these short rails, falls over and cracks her skull. When we first started coming here, we were told several times we could stay in the corner area during the preschool class as long as the gym overall wasn't busy, using that area, etc. There have always been signs saying no parents allowed downstairs and I do understand why they don't want parents or anyone other than participants in the gym; we have just been told it's okay on more than one occasion. I assumed that was because it's pretty obvious that the normal viewing area is not safe for little ones. Last week, we were told that we could no longer be downstairs. I had to drop my daughter out of her favorite class (and we've tried all types of things - dance, music, soccer, yoga, art, and more) because I just can't put my youngest in danger right now. Maybe in 6 months she will have an attention span and I can keep her entertained with some toys, books, or even a show on my phone, but right now that is impossible. I've been in a lot of "kid classes" around Austin and most places have some sort of area for younger siblings. A small shelf with some books and toys is pretty normal but even at places that don't have that - at least your kids are on a ground floor where there's not an immediate, real possibility they could get seriously hurt. I have repeatedly recommended Tumble Tech to my mom's groups, friends, neighbors, even random people I see touring the facility. And I will still recommend Tumble Tech but just make sure to add the disclaimer if they have a toddler that will be coming with them. We are joining another gymnastics studio that has a little area with mats that younger siblings can play safely. If we don't fall in love with that studio the way we have with Tumble Tech, I promised my daughter we could come back when Halle is a little bigger. Luckily, she understood and agreed. I was thinking that maybe the youngest gymnasts just aren't their target customer, but they should be. Maybe our $50/month for preschool classes isn't much now, but if we continued classes until my daughter was even just in middle school, that's at least $10,000 they're missing out on from one family long term. Tumble Tech is definitely a 5 star operation in my opinion...just not if you have to bring a little one along. read more

This place deserves 0 stars. My son is 5, he learned how to do front flips on his trampoline. He wanted to learn how to do all the other flips. I thought cool I'll put him tumbling. The front desk automatically put him parkour. Didn't care what I was trying to convey to them what we wanted. Threw him in parkour because he's a boy. I talked with someone else via email, who told me "come on him, let's make it right!" Didn't do the tumbling test out, they put him back in the Parkour class. Emailed the same woman and asked them to unenrolled us and that we wouldn't be back. I kept getting emails, phone calls for a week asking what went wrong, come back in we can "make it right". Everything that went wrong was in an email thread. Told them at this point they where wasting my time and asked for a refund. Still no refund. read more

We loved tumble tech in past. Thought we'd give it another shot. Called and said only 3 in a class we wanted. Showed up and place is packed! No spacing. No mask. No policy for covid in place. No one called my kids name and she was just sitting there alone lost for 20 minutes before I walked over to guide her to a teacher. read more

It seems to be a really great place, the coaches are engaged, and the children learn alot. The tumbling aspect gets 4 stars However if you are concerned with covid restrictions then it probably isn't the place for you. There were at least 20 kids lined up next to each other tumbling. I can't say enough good things about Tumble Tech. I've had three kids in here and had great experiences with everyone. The front desk staff is always very friendly and helpful. We've had some outstanding tumbling and parkour coaches. The facility is clean and well equipped. The parkour area is particularly unique, I haven't seen anything like it anywhere else in the area. I moved my daughter here from Cheer Athletics tumbling program and was thrilled with how much faster she has progressed here. The coaches also offer private lessons which are 100% worth every penny. I also love the various skills clinics and camps they offer throughout the year. My kids also beg to go to Saturday Night Live and have an amazing time there and come home tired. read more

Our son was attending parkour classes here and at first we were happy with it. It's a nice facility and he had fun during the classes. Our lives got busy and we decided to pull him for the summer. Knowing the policy we gave them 2 weeks notice(we were exactly 2 weeks out from our next renewal). However, We were told that the deadline was the Friday before which was 4 days before our 2 weeks notice. When pointing this out to the girl at the front desk, Miranda, she stated that the deadline was policy and refused to accept that we were giving two weeks notice. She stated we would be charged for our next renewal... When explaining this wasn't right Miranda told us to file a dispute with our bank!!! Completely unacceptable. Our son isn't attending the next two classes we already paid for and we are fine with this as we agreed to that...However charging us a renewal even after giving two full weeks notice and knowing we won't be using the services is absolutely ridiculous. When trying to argue this with Miranda she referred us to "Ryan" whom we called and left a message (also ema but we never heard anything back. Absolute worst customer service we've experienced in a long time and it's very sad. This is shady practice and while we considered going back in the fall we will not be. Update: after this posted we finally did get contacted by the owner and they made it right. Still they need to work with their front desk staff because that was a headache of an experience. read more

Since the moment Tumble Tech opened the doors at Westlake Athletic Community Center (WACC) they have been on unbelievable source of support for my children and we are so honored to be a part of the Tumble Tech family. My daughter who had been in competitive cheer for five years decided to stop cheering at the end of 7th grade, she was done. She wanted to keep her tumbling skills up so she started taking class at Tumble Tech. The coaches were so supportive & they offered her so much positive reinforcement that she decided to try out for high school cheer prior to her freshman year. She took the Cheer Prep class offered by Tumble Tech with Coach Maddie & Coach Megan (former WHS Cheerleaders). With all the encouragement and skills she learned she made the Freshman squad! It's a huge gym with top of the line equipment! Not only is the gym immaculate! The coaches are amazing! Not only witg their knowledge of TNT, gtmnastics and parkour but they are very easy to communicate with. They wan't an open dialouge and strive to be there for your kids. My daughter started less than a year ago and has felt very comfortable with the coaches and loves the new gym! We have been very lucky to find this gym! Not, only are the coaches very supportive but so are the athletes! They are always cheering and encouraging each other.
