This is an outstanding environment for kids of all ages. The coaches and staff are very professional and keep the kids safety first at all times. But just teaching gymnastics is not the only thing the coaches teach. With each and every child they also have the ability to teach persistence, humility, vulnerability, discipline and also self confidence. My two Daughters & Son loves training at Acrotex and enjoys learning from their coaches and also all the other coaches. My daughter has been going here for 3.5-4 years and absolutely LOVES IT. My son just started up with Kindergarten gymnastics classes last year too. Ive seen growth and increase of strength in both my kids and love how well this place is ran. I can tell they try and upkeep the gym. They even got a bunch of new equipment since we've been there which is an awesome bonus. I love all of the coaches especially Coach Melissa and my kids love Coach Taylor. I ABSOLUTELY love watching their competitive teams. So cool to watch and have such great individuals as role models in the gym. Hopefully one day my daughter or son will be like them. Grandson goes to Acrotex. They are a gym that is focused on competitive gymnastics but also on offering gymnastics classes to kids in general to get their bodies moving. Coaches look at each kid as an individual to work on both strengthes and weaknesses to accomplish their goals. I have tried many different gymnastic gyms in the area as I have 5 kids and we have lived in other neighborhoods across Austin. I had read the reviews about smells, and yet I chose Acrotex Cedar Park for the convenient location close to home. We have enjoyed many instructors over the years, and I have seen my kids progress in their strength and agility. Even at the recreational level, the coaches give my kids individual attention and I have seen development. What has impressed me the most and will keep me here is the flexibility and coordination they have offered as I adjust classes over the years. The number of classes they offer is extensive, and I have been able to find the right balance so all of my kids can attend at the same time. This is significant because each year (if not more often), schedules change and it is a juggling game to find a doable schedule for our family. Because of the way Acrotex will coordinate and communicate with me, we have been able to find the right balance so all of my kids can satisfy their interests and be healthy, at the time I need it! And they have helped me with both dance and gymnastic interests. Their efforts have been above and beyond, and it feels like an extension of family. I am grateful that they would care about helping me find the right balance for our family that will allow the kids to grow. And I have seen an improvement in the smells :) It is a difficult thing to do with all those sweaty kids, but it is pleasant when you walk in to a clean and fresh smell. read more

My kids started taking classes here about 2 months ago and LOVE it. The coaches have a great way of working within each class to encourage and gently push each child to grow in there abilities. I love that this is real deal gymnastics, and they start getting experience on every apparatus from the beginning. This gym is great, well cared for and has great people working with the kids. If you're looking for a well-run, safe, and reasonably priced place for your kids to work off their climbing, bouncing energy while increasing skills--this is the place! read more

We've been a patron of Acrotex for more than 8 years. Both the rec program and the competitive program are solid. If you have a younger child Coach Lauren and Coach Dusty are excellent. Coach Robert and Coach Richie are great for the competitive programs and have turned out a number of Div 1 athletes in the last few years. Additionally Coach Robert and Coach Lauren do a great job with the older girls tumbling programs. For birthday parties the fees are reasonable and the kids have fun. The kids can have a good time even up to 11 or 12 year olds. Parking is challenging at the 30 minute mark because many drivers don't understand how to park or move traffic through the parking lot. Care has to be taken as many parents refuse to watch little Suzy or Johnny go running between cars in the parking lot. read more

My daughter has been attending Acrotex for almost a year now and she really enjoys it, the instructor for the 4 year old class is wonderful with the children, she's patient, kind and uses encouraging words with them. Parking can be difficult to find at times, since it is surrounded by two other businesses on each side they have signs posted that if you park in their parking lots you will be towed, I've only seen signs and never tow trucks, but I still have never taken the chance and parked in the other parking lots. The only negative aspect of Acrotex is that it SMELLS SO BAD inside, like feet, I understand that all the student there do take their shoes off but please can someone purchase some air disinfectant for that place, at times the smell is unbearable. read more

This is good starter gym to find out if your kid likes gymnastics or not. Not super serious or demanding. Nice staff. When we were experiencing lack of commitment from our girl, I tried deregistering her 1 or 2 days into the month for next month, and was denied b/c there was a 30 day cancellation period. So I had to pay an additional month that she didn't attend. Not a huge deal, but any company that supports their customer as much as their customer supports them would have made an exception. read more

My kids went to Acrotex for years and really enjoyed it. The coaches were good but the policies and price was ridiculous. We finally quit this year and are beyond thrilled with Austin Gymnastics Club. I had two girls on team at Acrotex and it was costing 181 for each child or 362 a month for 4 hours of gym time. If we wanted them to go Saturday it was an addition $27 for each child. So six hours of gymnastics and a grand total of $416 for the month. Sorry - $411 a month. Highway robbery. You must give a month's notice to quit and pay a registration fee yearly. If your child undergoes surgery and has a note from a specialist not to undergo any physical activity for at least two weeks they won't refund or even hold those two weeks for you. Yo are charged as usual. If you don't pay by the 10th they will charge you a late fee of $10 per student. If you don't pay by the 25th they can drop you from the class. The other thing that was disappointing is that if you are on TEAM ALL you do it practice your routine. You don't learn any new skills you just practice and practice routines AND then you ONLY compete against other Acrotex. So many Acrotex gymnastics have moved over to Austin Gymnastics club. We not pay $250 a month for both of my girls and they practice 9 hours a week and may go to the gym on other days. Their skills have grown like crazy. We have only been there for three months and I can't believe the improvements I've seen. We are not hounded for money when we walk in the door. In fact last month I had to have my kids tell the owner Coach Adrianne ( the best) that I wanted to pay. They have many different coaches which my kids LOVE rather than only having one coach. They compete with different clubs in different cities. It was the best change that we made for our kids gymnastics. The only thing that Acrotex was better for was the distance to our house. read more

I went to check the facilities for my 2 girls. As soon as you open the door you smell the dust. I went upstairs to check the dance studio and that's even worse. Spider webs on the ceiling, dusty mats all over the place. It's a no-no. read more

The instructors get 5 stars, especially Coach Patricia and Coach Taylor. But the parking is enough to drive you to drink. You may be thinking I'm crazy for marking them off for parking, but it really is THAT BAD. In their defense they do send out emails trying to get parents to use common sense and common courtesy, but when you have about 1/3 the number of spaces that you need, people are going to get frustrated and act like jerks. The kind that make you want to get out of your car and punch them in the face. So bring your kids for great gymnastics training, but take a zanax before you come. You'll need it. And bring one for me too. read more

Very impressed with the staff and facilities. Great place to get started or continue gymnastics practice. Entrance tends to get a bit clogged, so plan ahead with slip on shoes to make arrival/departure stress free. You can also book the facility for parties - good times! read more

Best gymanstics place in the area.. my daughter has been attending for the last two years and she loves it.. she can't get enough hours in at the gym lol she loves her coaches Lauren and Patrica. My son also does a homeschooling class and he loves it all the coaches are great. Would absolutely recommend this place! read more

My son did gym here in the tots class. He LOVED it. Because we moved, we are not there anymore, but he still talks about his gym days and can do handstands, cartwheels, front handsprings and flips (on the trampoline). Coach Lauren is our Favorite. read more

I can't say enough good things about Acrotex! Being new to Cedar Park and having minimal experience in gymnastics we were looking for a gym where our daughter could get the necessary training in a safe environment. Our decision was based solely off of other guests' reviews and it's clear we've made an excellent choice! Immediately arriving at Acrotex we were greeted with a huge welcoming smile by Lori at the front desk! We were stopping by to observe a class and find out info on how to sign up for a Tumbling class. She encouraged us to stay as long as we needed. After about 45 minutes we were heading out and my daughter was visibly bummed she couldn't attend a class that day. Lori immediately worked with us to get us into a class that same day if we wanted and introduced us to the coach that would be instructing the class! The owners were on site that day too and both greeted us and asked if we needed any help or had any questions. We've attended their Parent's Night Out as well which costs $20 if you pre-register for it and its from 730-1130. Our daughter had a blast and there were several coaches (as well as the owners) on site to chaperone, coach, monitor, etc. the children. Coach Taylor has been very patient working closely with our daughter as she's very much a beginner, but balances her coaching with the other students as well. Overall, we have been VERY pleased with Acrotex and the level of organization and professionalism they've shown!!! read more

We've been at Acrotex Cedar Park for about two years with several different kids. The coaches are great but the office staff/policies are terrible. We have twins currently enrolled and one asked to stop. They were closed with no gym times the last two weeks of December. Not only did we pay for the full month of December and were only offered two weeks of classes, but we missed the deadline to cancel the one twin's classes. I think we can all agree December is really busy for everyone. We thought, no big deal, they can just apply the additional tuition to the twin remaining in classes. NOPE! Our child either has to remain doing something he doesn't enjoy, or we are out the full month of tuition. Terrible way to handle your business. I agree policies are necessary, but it is okay to show grace and be a decent human-being and morally grounded company. Will be looking for another gym. read more
