We were on the waitlist at the MegaGym for a while and finally got into the tiny tots class. A…read morelittle about our experience... 1. We attended one class and it wasn't the right fit. Tiny tots is for toddlers with minimal to no gymnastics experience, however, everyone in the class appeared to have quite a bit of experience for their age. 2. I notified MG that it wasn't the right fit after one class and requested a refund. No refunds are given but they tried to be accommodating and get us into another class. Unfortunately we couldn't make it due to scheduling conflicts. 3. It would be awesome if MG allowed one drop in class before committing to a whole month. 4. The instructors were nice, I just felt that it wasn't the right fit for my kid's age and experience level. 5. At the end of the class, the instructor handed out candy suckers. I was a little surprised that parents weren't asked first. Why not fun stickers instead? I wish MG would have worked out for us! I was really excited about the class. MG tried to accommodate our schedule, but it didn't work out. I let them know the class wasn't a good fit the night of the first class and unfortunately I didn't get a refund so we probably won't be back again.

There's a mix of trampolines, aerial arts, gymnastic equipment, ninja type of equipment, and parkour. My very active boys can stay here for hours. Pro tip: Buy a Pogo Pass and visit for free!

Pros: 1. Great for kids…read more 2. Amazing for kids 3. Designed for kids 4. Theres a sauna 5. Nice dance studio 6. Many amazing instructors with great teaching skills Cons: 1. Staff has little education about skin infections common within gyms 2. Children spread mat infections, colds, and are walking petri dishes 3. Not good spot for adult athletes who want to stay away from becoming sick or coming into contact with potential skin infections 4. Poor self defense and martial art techniques that would cause severe injury in IRL situations are taught to kids here 5. Staff admits to not cleaning as often as they should 6. Gym always has a smell 7. Staff has played Christian music on a speaker during open gym time. Some people have severe traumas regarding Christianity that must be respected and gyms are supposed to be sanctuaries for everyone to feel welcome. Playing Christian music in safe spaces is unethical as it is nonconsensual evangelism. This is a good gym for kids, mostly. Yes there are decent amenities here. I give this place a +4 for effort, a -1 for cleanliness.

My daughter is currently in Girls 2 and Tumbling 1, so the review is based on that class. Here's the scoop: -The classes are capped in sizes. They are strict about coach to student ratio. I appreciate this because the kids are doing things that they could easily get hurt if not monitored appropriately. It seems to be 8 kids per coach and most of the time it's even smaller. -The coaches are awesome. They all are great with the kids. They are always happy and very helpful to the students. I've seen them spend quality time with each kid to help the child progress on their skills. My daughter has told me how much her coaches care about her. She's 7 and feels great going to class, that says it all right there. -The gym area is huge. There's lots of space for the kids to move around. Lots of equipment so all of the kids in class can work on their stuff with minimal downtime. The equipment all is in good shape and well maintained. -There's a lot of different skill leveled classes. No matter your kid's skill level, they are in a class that's appropriate and one they they have fun and improve in. We have been at other gyms where did not happen, so I like this. -They offer lots of fun extra classes. About once a month they have a "Kid's Night Out" on a Friday from 7-10pm. My daughter thinks it's a party for the kids to go to and loves it. My hubby and I love that we can squeeze in a date night. They also do clinics on different skills to help the kids improve on their skills. I highly recommend this gym for your kids.

But just teaching gymnastics is not the only thing the coaches teach. With each and every child they also have the ability to teach persistence, humility, vulnerability, discipline and also self confidence. Ive seen growth and increase of strength in both my kids and love how well this place is ran. I can tell they try and upkeep the gym. I ABSOLUTELY love watching their competitive teams. So cool to watch and have such great individuals as role models in the gym. Hopefully one day my daughter or son will be like them. We've been to a few gyms and this is the best gym to bring your kiddos. Great environment and great staff! Keep up the good work Acrotex! We love you.
