I was invited to a birthday party that included ice skating, party room, snowball fight experience and the service of staff making sure the client had everything for their birthday party going and flowing. Didn't know about this place and they offer a lot of activities. Its a big place with multiple rinks, seating areas, party rooms, and soccer fields outside. They had this cotton candy machine that makes cotton candy into certain shapes and you can choose. My grandson enjoyed that alot. He actually enjoyed it more than we thought. He had his grandpa going to check out the different hockey games going on and watching the people ice skate. Note: it gets cold in there because they have to keep the ice frozen so bring along a warm sweater or jacket to be comfortable especially if you're usually cold. I definitely recommend this place. They also have a special events and public skating times. I plan I checking out one of those events. Im glad we had the opportunity to check this place out.

Based on my estimation, it seats about 250 people. The space had enough room for a dance floor, food station, DJ station with instruments and bar. The space also had a raised level stage. The acoustics at Parq were clear and audible. Special noteworthy features include ceiling and side lighting. The facility also had to large projection screens. The Parq was perfect for this event. The ambiance was a cross between modern dance club to a wedding reception like environment. It a bit deceiving looking at the building from Highway 183 from the outside as it looked like a big warehouse building, very indistinct. Once you opened the door you were transported to anther space and time! Time spent at the anniversary celebration was warm and enjoyable! Recommend giving it a whirl...

We did provide a flow of the day, and everything went off without any snags. Highly recommend checking out ParqSocial if you are hosting an event.

See the photos/videos included in this review of the beautiful Garey House grounds. The Garey House makes a beautiful backdrop for photos. The contrast of the stone, wood, and outdoor lighting is perfection! The wedding ceremony was held outside where there is an outdoor pavilion located right in front of a small pond. The setup was simple, yet so elegant. Just an fyi, during the ceremony that there wasn't any shade coverage for the guests in attendance. Thankfully though, the wedding I attended was held in late December (3pm) so our Texas sun wasn't as hot as it is during summer time and the ceremony was short but sweet. A Flower wall was setup outside as well so guests could take photos in front of it and there was a separate area for sit down eating and small area for dancing. Helpful Tidbits: 1.) parking: Garey House is located within a 525-acre park so upon entering the park, you'll come to a booth where the park employee will give you a parking pass to put on your dashboard & also give directions on getting to Garey House. There is plenty of paved parking located right in front of GH so ladies, don't panic about having to walk a long distance in those high heels (you're welcome;) Hope this info helps! Rebecca

She said that she would let us know the evening before our wedding to let us know if they were going to use the rain plan and she did not. Once we got to the venue on our wedding date she had already decided that they were going to do the rain plan without talking with us before. Candice sent home the staff before we had even gotten there so they were unable to move the chairs for inside to outside for our ceremony. It didn't even rain that evening so we were even more upset because our guests had to stand during the ceremony. If Candice would have talked with us the evening before our wedding like she said she would and if she would have keep her staff there until we got there we wouldn't have not been so upset. We were both very upset with the way that Candice handed this and will not be recommending this wedding venue to any of our friends or family.

The beds were comfortable, and the location was convenient for our needs. We also appreciated the spacious room layout. Unfortunately, housekeeping and maintenance were inconsistent. We repeatedly requested removal of a dirty trash can that had clearly seen better days. We even placed it in the hallway, yet it was continually returned to our room without being replaced. We also experienced issues with room cleanliness and felt that basic housekeeping requests were not fully addressed during our stay. Another frustration was the early-morning grounds maintenance. Being awakened around 6:00 a.m. by landscaping equipment directly outside the building wasn't ideal, especially for guests on lower floors. It seemed like the work could have started farther from occupied rooms and moved inward later in the morning. What disappointed us most was the lack of follow-up regarding concerns we raised during our stay. We weren't looking for points, refunds, or compensation--we simply wanted the issues addressed so future guests could enjoy a better experience. Overall, the hotel has potential thanks to its friendly staff and convenient location, but attention to cleanliness, housekeeping communication, and guest comfort would make a significant difference. Would I stay again? Possibly, but only if these operational issues were improved.

Parking was easy and the security line was efficient. Our table was in section E. The wait staff was quick with our food order. There were self serve vats of ice water just inside that I can attest stayed full throughout the opening act and concert making the Texas mid July temps bearable with hydration. There are misters and huge fans to help with this throughout the venue as well. The ambiance is very comfortable even in the heat and there are huge oak trees to help with shade. A Stone Temple Pilots cover band opened which we did not expect. This made our total time at the venue over 4 hours, but both cover bands were fantastic and kept the audience focused on the show. The only real issue that we had was just in seating placement. The standing room only area is in front of the E section. The high top tables and placement back from the crowd made it so you could still see most of what was happening, but we ended up joining the standing crowd for some parts of the show to see better which was better for dancing anyway.

I've…read moreexperienced outstanding performances in spaces of all sizes, and it's genuinely a joy to have a venue like this in the Cedar Park area. That said, the volume here is simply too loud. The acoustic design of the building seems to trap and amplify extremely high decibel levels, making the sound piercing rather than enjoyable. I made a real effort to find a spot where I could clearly hear the music without discomfort, but the only tolerable area was inside. The bands, stage setup, lighting, and seating arrangements are all excellent. The talent on stage deserves to be fully enjoyed. Unfortunately, the excessive volume makes it difficult to dance, relax, or appreciate the music--especially given the relatively small size of the venue. At times, the sound level feels more appropriate for a massive outdoor amphitheater than a space like this. The speaker towers themselves appear to be positioned fine; the issue seems to be overall volume and acoustics rather than equipment placement. I strongly encourage the venue to conduct a thorough review of the acoustics and sound levels. With some adjustment, this could be an outstanding live music experience.

After that message, we never heard from anyone again. No follow-up call, no acknowledgment of the situation--complete silence. Keeping a full $3,400 while refusing to even reply is unacceptable business practice. If you're a couple researching venues, be very cautious. We had our wedding there in March and it was truly the best day of my life. The property is filled beautiful old trees, white fences, fields and log cabins. The ceremony and reception space was dreamy! The ceremony overlooks a beautiful field surrounded by these same old and winding trees. The sun sets over this field and creates an ideal setting for stunning photography. The event space has amazing stone walls with vines growing around the outside and stunning chandeliers inside. I would recommend this place highly for a wedding or any event.
