I was invited to a birthday party that included ice skating, party room, snowball fight experience and the service of staff making sure the client had everything for their birthday party going and flowing. Didn't know about this place and they offer a lot of activities. Its a big place with multiple rinks, seating areas, party rooms, and soccer fields outside. They had this cotton candy machine that makes cotton candy into certain shapes and you can choose. My grandson enjoyed that alot. He actually enjoyed it more than we thought. He had his grandpa going to check out the different hockey games going on and watching the people ice skate. Note: it gets cold in there because they have to keep the ice frozen so bring along a warm sweater or jacket to be comfortable especially if you're usually cold. I definitely recommend this place. They also have a special events and public skating times. I plan I checking out one of those events. Im glad we had the opportunity to check this place out.

It made it a very practical choice for a group where everyone wanted to do something different. We went for a birthday party and had a great time. The arcade is medium sized but still has enough variety to keep the kids entertained. The skating rink is spacious, so you're not constantly bumping into people. We also tried the pizza and it hit the spot while we were there. Overall, it's an easy, family friendly place to go when you want something that works for both adults and children and keeps everyone busy. Definitely a solid option for a fun outing.

Add a little kid I love skating and watching adult skate in the streets and I wanted to do that but I always have protective parents so we were only allowed to ride on the street never in the street. A few years ago, I had a surgery on my knee due to a torn meniscus, and I have been desiring to go skating, but life has taken a course where I never made time however, this valentines, and anniversary weekend we decided to go skating. I had such a blast and I realize I really enjoy skating. Although there was a little discomfort in my leg from all the work of going around till midnight on adult night, which is Tuesday and Saturday nights from 9 to 12 PM and it was about $33 for two people with skate rentals. I brought my own skates however the skates that they have are quite nice for rent. I had o much fun watching everyone just smile and enjoy themselves. The staff was quite friendly, the DJ got better as the night got later, and we didn't get a chance to explore the whole new side. We are definitely looking forward to going back again with some other adult friends and experience the whole facility.

However, as I get older and wiser, I tend to branch out in my date Devil adventures...ever so slightly. On my bucket list for a date devil adventure is jumping from a plane. I'm not there yet for parachuting out of a plane. Today, was the big day for what I consider a dare devil adventure.... Ice skating. In my head I repeated this mantra.... Let's go, let's go, let's go!!! You got this. So, sheepishly I walk up to the counter and ask how much the entry fee was...$20 including skates... not cheap but not crazy expensive either. Ok. You can do this. I ask if I sit outside before I go on the ice. No problem the skate representative said. The fee included skating to 1 pm today. I had plenty of time to muster up my courage. Then my mind started to swirl and then spin...fast and faster! Next, I was in a full on Exorcist head turning moment. Girlie, you no spring chicken any more. You are not twenty years old. Why is it so cold in here? Why does it feel like ice is flowing through my veins? Remember when you broke your little toe in two places...exercising.... I jumped up and bolted out of Chaparral Ice like I was being chased my hungry pack of wolves. I applaud myself for trying to be adventurous today. However, I'm not quite there yet. Maybe after my birthday....
