Large coffee

Nice place but a limited menu for food. If you like what they are serving it is delicious. We had coffee and a croissant as a break while waiting. Large coffee is about 20oz and only 40 cents more. Strong but not bitter.

We arrived at the airport early for our mid-day flight and decided to grab a little lunch. We split a chicken salad croissant sandwich, tomato basil soup and a bag of chips along with iced teas to drink. We were greeted and our food was rung up and prepared and then delivered to our table. Everything tasted good. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. I would choose to eat here again.

Stop at this lovely restaurant for breakfast. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. We got some coffee and quiches. The coffee was freshly brewed and the quiche was delicious and rich. Loved the texture that was soft and very creamy. There are tables inside and the atmosphere is very tranquil. They have a lot of options for breakfast and also pastries. The staff was wonderful and very friendly customer service!

My sis and I stopped in here for a quick breakfast during our short layover. This is a cute little French based bistro that offered several pastries and prepackaged sandwiches along with hot meal options. In got the American breakfast which was ok. Its was nothing special but the croissant was delish. My sis got a fancy ham and cheese sandwich called the croque monsieur. It was VERY GOOD. The staff was really nice, quick and accommodating. The restaurant is clean with several small tables. All in all a great little spot to grab something quick and tasty.

When you need somewhere calm to relax for coffee and tea in between flights, this is a great spot. Staff was very nice. I definitely saved this to my list

Had a three hour layover and wanted to find someplace to eat at for a late lunch. We stumbled upon this place after passing other restaurants and stores located near our gate. After looking at the menu, I decided on getting the pesto pasta and made my way to the cashier. The cashier was absolutely cheerful and had a great personality as he rung up my order and provided me with my order number. Just the setting of the restaurant felt like we were transported to a French restaurant and just hearing the cashier interact with the other customers made me smile. The pasta serving was decent with a French roll and tasted as good as my favorite pasta that I would get at Disneyland (definitely a weird comparison that I'm not mad about hehe) We ended up chilling there after finishing our meal and even thought about seconds, but ended up making our way out about 30 minutes before our flight hehe

If you like Le Madeleine, I would not recommend eating at the airport location. The atmosphere, food, and presentation here is more reminiscent of Grandy's than the cobblestone, "there's always a fire in the fireplace", French café that I've come to enjoy over the years. I ordered my usual French country breakfast, and it came on a disposable plate, resembling the pile of food one might expect from a cafeteria line. To be honest it was offputting, and made me wonder if Le Madeline's food is always this oily and I just didn't notice because of presentation and atmosphere. Kinda ruined it for me a bit. No complementary bread or self serve coffee are offered, and they did not ask me which blend I wanted when I ordered coffee at the counter. Flat panel digital Menus even took away from the classic, south of France traditional feeling of the place and reminded me of McDonald's. It's possible that the disposable plates, silverware, and cups are due to lack of space in the back for dish washing. But, my advice to Le Madeleine would be to avoid dumbing down their concept, because it re-framed my experience into something I enjoyed significantly less.

I'm pretty sure this is the worst soup and salad I've ever had. ..

The eggs were like plastic - turkey was just lunch meat / the worst breakfast I ever had.

We ordered a variety of appetizers including tenderloin bruschetta, quail knots, and raw oysters. All were great choices. They came out before our drinks, but we didn't mind. The server was very communicative about the bar backup. My blackberry lemon drop was tasty and not too sweet. My boyfriend and I split the rack of lamb and lobster ravioli. It was the perfect combo and we're both healthy portions. We didn't make it to the dessert menu, but we were happy with the service, price and immediate seating.

This place on a Saturday morning is a great place to host a group meal. There were about 11 of us, and the service was masterful (even with every 2 people on their own check. The place looks well set up for group gatherings, I just know on a Saturday it was pretty empty, so even better! I DO love a benedict, but I also love a croque Madame, and they are more rare. I spied the phots on line, but there was something off, I wanted MORE cheese sauce, so I asked for extra on the side, and not only did our fabulous server do that, he even gave me an extra sauce cup with my leftovers!! (I KNOW!, right??) the gouda sauce is where it is at. My croque was quite tasty, and the extra sauce is the boss move here. There was no photo of the hash, so hubby volunteered. It was okay, but really just the potatoes you get on the side with added steak and eggs. (so don't bother unless you love their potatoes). I sadly didn't take a photo of my own food, but got the hash photo into the Yelp gallery for this place. You are welcome!

Both the Tavern and Tycoon are in Flower Mound, and I have not visited, but I have made stops at both Jane and now Volstead. And I have to say, I wanted to be impressed, and I just wasn't. When I went to Jane, the cocktails were not up to snuff. My visit to Volstead, the cocktail was fantastic but the ambiance and food disappointed. I came into Volstead to check out the happy hour. They have a discount on wine, and half off their signature cocktails and martinis. They make craft cocktails, which were impressive, but only have one bartender. It takes time, but they could use another. I ordered a Volstead Vesper. It is a bold martini. Josh made it well. It was well balanced. Boozy yet balanced. And I love a lemon curl. A garnish can really elevate a cocktail. Five stars for the drink. I will come back and order another one. I also ordered their spicy tuna crispy rice. It was rather a disappointment. The serving size was generous, the crunch on the rice was there, and then it fell short. The texture of the rice was on the mushier side. The tuna was NOT spicy. It had been dressed in something, but it brought absolutely NO flavor or anything to the tuna. There was a wasabi cream and a sauce (maybe eel sauce) that dressed the plate, but the tuna was bland. A little soy, citrus, yuzu, sriracha or SOMETHING to elevate and brighten the tuna would have been EVERYTHING. So it just ended up being bland tuna, on undressed avocado, on fried mushy rice with some tasty sauces. It absolutely was not spicy. And with a little something something it could have been rather tasty. Even with mushy rice. When I walked in and sat down, there was no music playing so you were just hearing conversations bouncing off the walls. After about a half hour someone decided they needed some tunes, but then it was too loud and it was hard to hear the bar tenders. The ambiance was great. I loved the decor, and again, my cocktail was really rather good. The overall feel just felt kind of sloppy. It could have been awesome, and fell short. They claim to have Southlakes best burger, and maybe that is a better choice than the tuna. I may give it a shot. It got rather popular as I was leaving, the crowd a bit more mature. And maybe that is their bag. They have great reviews and high stars, I just didn't feel it.
