Must try: Rayito Iced Latte! Why: Fantastic latte that tasted kinda like an orange creamsicle! I believe the barista said it has coconut and grapefruit or orange so it was slightly creamy and sweet. Notes: Awesome coffee spot that looks to be part of a wine bar. Spacious with various indoor and outdoor seating. Barista was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Really cool spot to chill for a morning brew with friends or takeout for a quick jolt of coffee. read more

Odale, this coffee cart is headed for greatness, with their Spanish Latte alone, makes me want to come here every morning. It's full flavored, smokey, hint of cinnamon and when I took my first drink, I could hear the sound of mariachis in the background. Ok, that wasn't true but it should be, as good as the coffee drinks are. Customer service was engaged, kind and had mad barista skills. Can't wait to return, gracias La Lucha Coffee. All & All ; no extra charge for oat milk and it's their default, I didn't see a size choice, also a local Latino owned business. read more

While visiting Portland, I wanted to try as many coffee shops as I could in Portland. This one was close to our Sunday morning activities so I decided to check it out! I ordered the Spanish latte and it was delicious! After trying over 15 coffee shops in Portland, La Lucha's Spanish latte was my second favorite coffee shop and drink that I had during my time there. I spoke with Braulio who was making the drinks and gave me some menu recommendations. I learned that he had formerly owned a coffee shop in CA and gave that up when he moved to Oregon. I think with it being a cart, it looks like you might be getting a beginners cafe, but don't be fooled, Braulio knows what he's doing with coffee and the drinks he serves! My friend that is a local to Portland also loved her cappuccino from La Lucha and we definitely told our friends about this place! Make this spot your next coffee to try out in the area! read more

We were waiting for a table at a popular brunch spot a couple of blocks away and I knew I needed a good latte to hold me over. It was pouring rain but we decided to make the trek anyway and I'm so glad we did! This is a cute cart that pops up in a winery. The place was absolutely buzzing! There was also a pastry pop up and they looked amazing. We didn't get anything because we were about to have brunch, but I would totally come back for a latte and pastry. I went with the Spanish latte because it seemed like the way to go and it was. It was the perfect sweetness, rich, delicious, and you could taste the hint of cinnamon. They definitely know what they are doing here and seem to take a lot of pride in their craft. It seems like the only way you could go wrong is by not coming! Give them a try!! read more

This place was great! It is a little cart inside what looked like a wine bar by night (sorry if that's incorrect). Very minimal, but the coffee was top notch and the quality of the latte's were amazing. I always like a simple but great coffee place and La Lucha fits that description. I was visiting Portland and wanted coffee. I randomly saw this place nearby on Google maps and gave it a try. The place is a cute pop up located in a bar. I tried the Spanish latte and my boyfriend tried the iced Spanish latte. It was really good and probably the best coffee of the trip so far. It was sweet and cinnamony but not overwhelmingly so. Even my boyfriend who doesn't like coffee that much enjoyed it. I would go back if I return to Portland. read more

I can't stop ordering the Mexican Mocha. It's not too sweet and has an orange essence that literally makes the drink from a 9 to an 11/10. I was happy to see that oat milk is the default "dairy" used so there's no extra charge for the dairy intolerant/sensitive girlies. The spot has great coworking vibes too! Chill space with big tables to spread out at. I bring my travel monitor so I can post up for a couple hours. Mexican inspired coffee cart inside Enso Winery in southeast. Just opened up a week ago. It's an excellent spot to work for a few hours or grab a latte to go. Lots of seating. Lots of plants. Strong WiFi. Great natural lighting. I had a chance to talk to the owner. Super friendly guy. He apparently quit his soul-sucking corporate job to pursue his passion for Mexican inspired coffee drinks. Really cool story. I ordered the horchata latte. Holy smokes. It's life changing. I haven't tried the other drinks yet but they look delicious. Apparently some are topped with a spritz of orange extract? Love the attention to detail. Their shop is very curated and is definitely has a "recently here because of gentrification vibe." However, I know it's been in Portland for a while and locals swear by it. With shops like these I find it easy to focus and work. The minimalist and industrial decor is a great place for adhd brains like mine. I was warmly greeted by someone at the register. I was interested in so many choices on their matcha. Horchata iced coffe, orange latte, strawberry Ube matcha. I asked the barista if they do exchanges or remakes for drink if the customer dislikes what they ordered. She mentioned they have a NO REMAKES policy. I knew it was time to lock in instead of trying something Willynilly. She was super patient with me as I wondered what to get and discussed my hesitations. She let me sample a tiny amount of the strawberry uber syrup and lavender to make my decision and it helped. I ended up getting and iced lavender matcha and didn't regret it at all. It's been hard for me to find good matcha in Portland and they didn't disappoint. The syrup was blended in well. The flavor of the matcha wasn't too grassy, bitter or powdery.
