My husband and I came in here for the first time on a recent Saturday evening. We got there early-ish (5:30) so there was no wait for a table. In fact, we were a little worried because there were only a couple of occupied tables, but it quickly filled up. The server immediately brought out warm chips and some tasty salsa. I got the chimichanga with shredded beef ($13). It came with rice and beans. my husband got the carne asada quesadilla ($14). Both meals were very tasty. My husband got a margarita ($7), which was big and not watered down. The server was very friendly and the food came out quickly. The place appeared clean. I will come back. read more

We could not get seat even though the restaurant was empty.. We Were Told by the waited that they were having a party but we saw zero people in there, i was not dressed nice (i was tore up from working out & in pjs) & im hoping that's not the reason they didnt offer me &my friend an inside seat because that would be extremely shallow. I was offered to sit outside where it was cold this morning & i was with my child so I said no thank you & left to Fort Blossom which was alright. The kebrada restaurant continued to look very empty as we left fort blossom after our meal so im not sure why they didnt sit us down. Clovis location. Most recent visit was for lunch, February 2020. The first few times we went there, about a year ago, it was good but nothing special, even considering that the Fresno area is frankly quite deprived when it comes the good Mexican cuisine. However, the last half dozen times have been excellent, as if they have hired a new chef. Today I had the Chicken Enchiladas Verdes, superb, and my wife had the Carne Asada and Prawns dinner, which she raved about. Accompanied rice and beans were perfect. Service was excellent, as usual. Food came quickly, was hot, and presented well, although to be clear the place was nearly empty at 2:00 PM a Sunday. The only negative was that about a 1/3 of the complimentary chips were exceedingly stale. Parking is always a pain in the evening, especially on weekends. Yesterday, we tried to eat there, but no parking was available except on a very dark street cross street. We passed. There are several restaurants in the tiny strip mall, including a take out/eat in pizza joint, and a small convenience store selling gas. This makes for a very crowded parking situation. We would go there more often but for the parking. We rarely take advantage of the bar, but the few tImes have produced good frozen margaritas, although I prefer margarita machine smoothness, as opposed to the blender type provided at La Kebrada. The on-ice margaritas very good. Past recent dishes ordered by me: Chicken Enchiladas Mole, Chicken Enchiladas with red sauce. By wife: Albóndigas Sopa, Pozole Verdes. Most recently, all excellent. $5 Margaritas Happy Hour!!! Our server let us try their enchilada sauces (red,green) so my son can choose as our last Mexican restaurant at a different chain experience was really bad. He loved his red cheese enchiladas. My husband got the Chile Rellenos Del Mar (filled with crab and shrimp) really enjoyed it. I got the Shrimp Enchiladas Verdes and was really surprised they came with bell peppers and onions which really gave it extra flavor in my opinion. My friend brought here after a workout at the gym. She said she and her parents go here frequently, so I thought sure, let's check it out! The ambience is not really anything to write home about. Not that it's bad, it's just the same as any basic restaurant. Tables and chairs. Gets the job done. The lighting was nice, not too bright, not so dark I couldn't read the menu. I wasn't super hungry, so I ordered a single taco combo with shredded chicken. It was absolutely delicious! The beans and rice were also good, but typical fare, and usually always good. The after dinner suckers in the counter when you're walking out is a nice little treat to finish a meal. I'll be coming back so my husband can check out their seafood menu and so I can explore the menu when I have more of an appetite! read more

The tacos, rice, salsa and service where awesome. The only negative feedback I would give is the enchilada sauce. It had a strange taste, almost way to much cinnamon. That might be an acquired taste in some mexican sauces, but as a mexican dude myself with tons of experience in eating out, that was def a strange flavor on the enchilada sauce. The customer service was great but i expected more for pretty much a $50 meal. I got the nacho fries and the fries seemed like the ones you would get at walmart for maybe a dollar and my carne asada could have had a little more flavor to it. What a great Mexican restaurant! We went at the lunch hour and it was not busy at all. I ordered the Chili Relleno y Taco and they were delicious! I'd say the taco (with shredded beef) was a 4/5 while the chili relleno was a 5/5 because it was so full of cheese and flavor! My wife got the chimichanga and gave it a 4/5 because it was pretty good but it was huge so she had to take some home. My mom ordered the grilled fish tacos and gave the plate a 4/5 because the fish wasn't quite what she was expecting but it was ok. I came in last week with the kids. Got a combo for myself and a couple kids meals for the little ones. The chips were good, warm and fresh. The salsa was excellent with a roasted flavor and nice consistency. The rice and beans were good, not great. All the entree items were good and the service was excellent. Ordered through Door Dash. For the carnita plate. Half of the large portion on a 3 party togo container was filled with lettuce and pico. Portion of actual meat was small. Meat was not tender and juicy like the description. It was dryed out and full of grease. As I'm aware carnitas are cooked on oil i do not need a pile of oil in my container. There was nothing real authentic about this food. i ordered a tamale ala carte. Supposed to be pork. Not sure what meat this is but it's extremely dry. The sauce on top has a weird flavor. Great authentic Mexican food, excellent service, and friendly servers. As most Mexican restaraunt, the chips and salsa seems to be the major rating source - and the ones here are great! The chicken fajitas is to die for and is plenty to share with two people. The high top bar seats is a bit more of a private feel. read more

This is truly one of the best Mexican food restaurant in the Clovis, Fresno area. I have eaten at all three locations and I am always satisfied with the price, quality of food and the service. My favorite, though not a Vegan or vegetarian is the vegetable quesadilla. It's rich with flavor and cheese covered with guacamole and sour cream. Yummy! Came to La Kebrada on a friends recommendation. From the moment we walked in I felt a bad vibe. No hostess. Waited about 5 minutes before we were seated on a slow evening. I ordered the ribs in chilli sauce. The plates came out within 6 minutes of the waiter taking our order. The sauce was luke warm and the ribs were cold in the center. They were definitely microwaved and served. I complained and then requested a different entree. I got the fish fillet a la diabla which was decent. I got no discount at all for the inconvenience. They didn't even discount my fish entree to match my first order. Bad experience overall. read more

My family and I visited la krebada for dinner. My dad had the costillas which are Mexican ribs in an enchilada sauce. He very much enjoyed them. Lots of flavor. I had the carnitas, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, rice and beans on the side. My niece had the shrimp tacos which she devoured, lots of flavor. Service was great , RAY RAY helped us and he was on point. Polite and attentive, our drinks were never empty. I would highly recommend la Krebada to my family and friends. we keep going back but this last time was for sure the LAST time we'll go. There was nobody else in the place except for our party. The waiter got our orders wrong. I ordered chicken and got beef on my combo. We had waited so long for our food that I decided to just keep it. I should have sent it back. The tamal was hard and dry plus the masa tough like it had been overworked or cooked and reheated too many times over. The rice and beans were cold. I don't understand how you have so many wait staff but nobody seems to be on the floor and visible if you need something. Now, according to their sign, they will be closed Mondays.
