We were going to grab a breakfast burrito at the gas station on our way home from camping. Saw this restaurant and heard a few good (and bad) things about it. I had the huevos con chile verde. Husband had a carnitas burrito. Although the chips were thin and nicely crisped, they tasted like oil. So did hub's burrito, which he didn't eat. My chili verde was good. Ordered the Shredded Beef Taco & Ground Beef Enchilada, combo with rice & beans. Salsa & chips were complimentary (salsa was mild) Very tasty, would order it again. Upon arrival young man greeted me at the entrance, sat me down right away he had eating utensils & menu in hand - 5 stars!! Well. Wish I had a better review. This place left much to be desired. The service was great! But the food was "meh"... I ordered the combo plate with a chicken taco, chile rellano, and an enchilada. The chile rellano tasted like it was dunked and over saturated in oil and the chile did not taste fresh. The taco tasted not so fresh as well but had a good shell. The enchilada was a highlight as it was "just ok". The water served tasted like it came out of the tap and even a lemon couldn't hide it. Overall, this was a C minus food experience (except the service was good!) . I had so much hope for a local Mexican food place in the neighborhood. Hi! This is our "regular" hang out. We love sitting at the bar where we can have dinner and margaritas while watching Tom the bartender work is magic. As far as the food goes we like the nachos (steak) as they are really dinner for two! My favorite entree is the carnitas plate. Always take about half home. I recommend requesting whole beans in place of refried mix in some of their salsa to make it sing! Service is good, food is excellent and did I mention they have margaritas? Food is good. Service is extremely mediocre if not lazy at best. The service is just like the service you'd get at Fort Washington (FW) location. Never got a water refill when there was literally only 2-3 tables filled out of a sea of tables throughout the duration of the night. Same thing for FW during lunch. No customer/waiter interaction. I've been here twice and the customer service is always pretty good. The male waiter and the waitresses are very nice. Although the food is good I think it's very pricy for what you get. They also charge a 20% gratuity on top of your bill so just a heads up. The chile verde plate is very good. Who knew. Well I didn't because I am in Sunnyside generally but in Northeast Clovis, there is a lovely, delicious, succulent Mexican restaurant. My friend and I went here for lunch, and I loved it so much two weeks later I brought another friend back for dinner. The fajitas are fantastic. I had the fajita salad for lunch. Since it was a Friday I also wanted fish but I didn't want an entirely fish meal. So I asked to do a combination of steak and shrimp fajita salad and the restaurant happily complied. There was a slight extra charge for adding shrimp but that was fine by me for something that was so custom. Then the flavor! While the presentation was lovely, in a shell with the requisite beans rice guacamole tomatoes onions, the steak of the fajitas was just incredible. I don't know what they use in their marinade, but the marinade is so delicious and the steak was so tender you could practically cut it with a fork. This is one of the best steak fajitas I've ever had. My friend really loves their enchiladas, and he commented that their red sauce is very rich and well flavored, not too spicy. They do bring the expected chips and salsa. Their chips are very thin, crispy and beautiful as they have got it in amongst the normal corn colored chips, a few red and green ones just for sparkle. The salsa is quite hot. Even for me, and I would say I am a medium hot salsa enjoying person. So if you want something mild or other then you will have to ask for it. When I went back the second time, the steak fajitas regular plate served with rice, beans, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole, was so huge, I could not possibly eat it all. It's definitely enough for two servings. I had plenty to take home for leftovers and enjoy at my lunch the next day. And I was truly hungry that evening. I also had the strawberry margarita which was just divine. They have a regular one, or a special one with Cuervo tequila. Just fantastic. Blended or on the rocks your choice. Of course they're doing the requisite spacing of people and so on but this was a very well attended restaurant even though we went quite early in the evening, 4:45 PM. The menu does contain all of the regular combinations you would expect such as tacos, enchiladas and so forth. They have a number of fish specialties as well and daily specials. I believe the special on the day that we went was a salmon Chile relleno. My friend that I had dinner with, she had the seafood chili relleno which she said was divine. It was chock packed full of shrimp and crab and so on. I should've gotten a picture, but she ate that huge relleno down quick as a wink! She was really super pleased with this restaurant as well and commented on the fact. Note: it's in a strip mall and there are a number of very well attended places there so it is difficult to find parking at times. Street parking is limited. They also do take out and so forth because of the current health situation in the country. But I was tickled pink to find this place and so is my friend who lives in Clovis. She's going to be bringing some people there soon as well possibly for breakfast which they also serve. Great place! Don't miss it. read more

Happy I found this place! The service was super quick considering there was only two people working. The chips and salsa were good the salsa had a nice level of spice. The margaritas were bomb! They were perfectly balanced not super sweet which I like. The food was good I got a wet burrito with asada. It was super filling. My only complaint about this place is that the food was a LITTLE bland but they had salt and pepper on the table so it was fine after adding salt. A group of seven of us visited this restaurant. My friends said their food was delicious. One of my friends ordered a vegetarian salad without cheese, but it came with cheese. The waiter took it and exchanged it for a new salad without cheese. She was happy. I ordered the seafood Chile Relleno without onions, and it came with a bunch of onions. When the waiter checked on me, I showed him that there were a bunch of onions and he motioned to give it to him so I gave it to him. I thought he was going to return with a new plate of food but he didn't. I was confused. I said, did you just yell at the Cook for putting onions in my food? He said yeah but it's the Ranchero sauce that have onions in it. I still had to pay the $25 so there was no compensation and no leftovers for me to take home. I was confused and didn't push the subject but I felt that I should've been given a new plate of food without onions. read more

COVID-19 Phase: They have outside seating. The workers are masked and very kind. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and nice. They had Happy Hour all night and they gave chips and salsa while waiting. I ordered a Pinot Noir and he ordered the same to try. They had one glass of Pinot Noir left. Just a heads up, the salsa is a little hot. If you are used to a mild salsa this is not it. I ordered the Mole plate with rice and beans. Beans and rice were on point. The Mole was a dark chocolate version with 4 large chunks of perfectly cooked chicken breast. To me it seemed that the flour tortillas were made in house. My wife ordered a combo plate of one beef enchilada, one chicken taco, rice and beans. She loved every bit of it. She remarked at how perfectly cooked the taco shell was. We will be back. read more
