I was surprised no one mentioned this, but the furniture feels cheap and the booth seating is uncomfortable and uneven, likely from wear over time. One side sinks almost to the frame while the other is overly puffy. The food is good, but not worth the price. Overall I would rate it around 7/10. The fruit is excellent, easily a 10/10, while the toasts and empanadas are closer to a 7/10. A 20% tip is already included, which I do not understand. Tipping should be optional, not mandatory. There were 2-3 men standing near the host stand busy talking, ignored us until we waved to get their attention. After being seated, we were not given menus and were told to scan a QR code instead. Our first time here, and while the ambiance was very nice--especially the chandeliers--the experience overall was disappointing. The restaurant was nearly empty on a busy Saturday night, which surprised us. They require reservations, but when we arrived, they didn't even need our name because there were so few guests. We were seated in a booth, which I wouldn't recommend. The cushions were so soft that you sink right in, and if you're taller than about 5'5", there's almost no leg room. If you do visit, definitely choose a regular table with chairs. The food itself was delicious and came out quickly. The BBQ ribs were just okay but still tender and fell off the bone. The burgers, however, were fantastic. Unfortunately, the customer service was the biggest issue. We asked twice for lemons and were brought limes for our chamomile tea. We requested salt and pepper twice, received only pepper, and had to ask a third time for salt. No one checked on us during the meal--no refills, no "How is everything?", nothing. With four of us dining, we all agreed we wouldn't return because of the poor service. Now we understand why it was so empty on a Saturday night. We also learned they automatically add a 20% gratuity, which might explain the lack of effort in providing good service. With a day of sleepless travel, a few people in our group needed a quick pick me up while wandering through Bayside Marketplace and stopped by La Industria (the cafe part more specifically). The cafe also has a sit down spot attached to it for those who want a more traditional brunch/dine in experience. The staff was friendly and funny when one of us asked if we could put the Cuban coffee over ice and they smiled and said no. We ordered and were very pleased with the Cuban coffee. It's bold and sweet with the brown sugar punching through a very full flavored coffee. This is located inside the Bayside market area. The decor is very pretty. They have a casual counter to go, with option of chairs and tables sat outside. They also offer a more restaurant theme aswell. Today we opted for cookies and coffees. Service was rather rude. read more

They saw this place at night while walking past the shoppes and knew that they wanted to come back in the morning. Okay so the hype for this place wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Very aesthetic decor for being in Bayside, very cutesy. Our server was super nice and super attentive. Upon entering there is immediately water bottles placed at the table that they don't tell you if you drink from you pay for. We thankfully didn't open them and it was when we looked at the menu, did it say "Industria Water bottles @4$", we asked our server to remove them as we didn't ask for or order them. The service was really great, but I think (like everything in Miami) it was really pricey. It was a nice cute little place. The staff were very nice. We had all appetizers and didn't have any complaints about it. I order the tostones which came with a mix of pork, ham, chicken, and coleslaw. They do not skimp on the meat. The tostones were thin and crispy and meat was flavorful. I would have preferred more sauce on the side but over all great dish. The one thing I would change is to have a printed menu. They have a QR code you scan with your phone to view menu which is fine but at this particular time my battery was low and I needed to reverse what I had to order a ride back home. This is Nicky Jam's restaurant, who is a famous regaettton artist. It is an all-day brunch place at the Bayside Marketplace. Inside is very Instagramable for photos. We had the La Boricua Hamburger and Chicken n Waffles for our main courses . They were amazingly delicious!! For our dessert, we split the Barbie Pancake, which was out of this world yummy! We were carbed out by then, as you can imagine. We will definitely return again, but on a cooler day. Parking is not easy, but you can find a place. First negative review I write in my life. My experience was truly horrendous. I paid $30 for the soggiest, smallest, thinnest avocado toast I've ever seen. Anyone's child could have done a better job putting it together. It was so loud you had to yell to speak. Everything so overpriced it was painful. To drink: We had an iced pumpkin latte. it was honestly one of the best lattes ive had (if you like sweet coffee). It came with a nice dulce de leche rim. My friend also had the strawberry lemonade and liked it. For an app we had the croquettes. They were filled with fish, and the dipping sauce was very yummy. The boriqua burger was HUGE and on a brioche bun. It was served with fries. this can easily be split between two people. We also HAD to try the spooky stack of pancakes. Not only do they have coffee, but a ton of fresh pastries and bakery items, including empanadas! I got a regular Americano, and my fiance got a cappuccino. he also got a ham and cheese croissants sandwich another pastry, and I got a croissant. I'm a bit croissant person so I am fairly picky and have high expectations of my quality croissants. Unfortunately, this is not their Forte. I ate half of my croissant by force. The food here is good and pretty large portions. I got the iced caramel latte, and it was delicious. I am giving it only 4 stars because it was too expensive and, for some reason, everything was served in plastic. It was plastic containers, plastic cups, and plastic utensils. The plastic knife made it really hard to cut the avocado toast, which was frustrating. Also everything is outside, and if you are unlucky like we were, the fan they have outside is not pointed in your direction and it's very hot. Service was slow as well which was not good considering how hot it was where we were. I went here a few weeks back with some friends for brunch. The place has a nice atmosphere and is pretty cozy. I got the Tostones $18.99 which came with 3 rather large tostones with a mountain of toppings on them. I thought the tostone was perfectly crisp and the flavor of all the meats mixed with the coleslaw and sauce was very tasty. The service is where I knocked this place down some. We had a couple of issues with incorrect items being brought out and refills were an issue throughout. Our server also disappeared for a good amount of time when we were trying to get the check and leave. The pricing also gets their rating knocked down some. I know it is a touristy area but the pricing is on the high side for what it is. The portions are a good size though but still very expensive for what you get. The chicken was chicken tenders... and the fries came with (probably canned) nacho cheese sauce. I ordered an omelet, which was actually pretty good. One thing that they have going for them, is their portion size. The plates are definitely shareable. My friend and I ate only about half of what we ordered, and we realized our mistake of not sharing a plate in order to avoid wasting food.
