They have several of them in this place and I have found one of my favourite in Quebec: The Tribale IPA. It has a nice bracing bitterness, a well balanced hoppy flavor, strong but not overpowering, not malty, and with a nice subtle grapefruit taste that is what I usually look in an IPA. They also sell it in a can in their store, so I bought 4 cans and that same night had it taste to another IPA hunter and was very happy with the new discovery.

For me Ma Brasserie is really off the beaten path, but I'm willing to take the road trip as parking around is hugely easy and available. The brewery offers brewing classes in cooperation with Institut Brassicole du Quebec that I may try as something new to learn in 2019!

Waiter was very attentive and we could tell he paid attention to detail. He gave great food recommendations and definitely had knowledge of what's on the menu. Now as for how the food and prices were? Prices i'd say are pretty standard and reasonable. The squash soup was so yum and comforting. It had a puree texture to it. Good serving size. I would order it again! We obviously had to have some mimosas and yes we paired it with orange juice. The duck confit may have been a bit too much for me. Large portion and i couldn't even finish half of it. But it wasn't dry and the veggies had a nice crunch and the lentils were very filling and healthy. The flavour notes all went together but i'd definitely say the dish was more on the healthier side. The chicken supreme on the other hand .. although healthy it was still cheesy and buttery. Project Pilote is a fabulous green bar that functions as a mini brewery/distillery that also serves food during the kitchen's open hours. We had a variety of drinks to choose from and the staff there were very accommodating and helpful in picking out the best drafts.
