Very cute Tarte Flambee restaurant just outside of the old city across the water from Batorama…read more There are a couple tables outside and lots of space inside. Inside is a lightly lit modern cozy decor with cowhide wrapped overhead lighting, wood grain tables and chairs adorned with black metal throughout. Menus are posted in the tables and you can get a French, German or English version. The waitress was very prompt to get our drink order and faster than we were ready for our food order. We opted to share two savory tartes and save dessert for the Christmas market. I also ordered a vin chaud as I was a bit cold from the boat ride.
The vin chaud was very balanced in sweetness, spice and tannins from the wine I highly recommend if you're cold.

This was a great replacement for a sweet Flambee. The bite from the cheese with the sweetness from the honey made this a great Flambee to pair with something smoky.
BOEUF SECHÉ D'ALSACE & COMTÉ
Sour cream, onions, comté cheese , smoked beef bacon, garlic, arugula : 17,00 €
The beef bacon was incredibly smoky and paired very well with the creamy comte cheese. Going back and forth between this and the Munster couldn't have been better planned.
The food was fantastic, the service was fantastic, the atmosphere was comfortable and fun. What a great place to enjoy a meal. We're so glad we came and so LucKy to get in with a short wait
