I had never been here before today. I have been told by a few it's worth the trip. I drooled up and down the showcase of the products they have, it's pretty impressive to say the least. There are Steaks of all types, Chicken, Duck, Pork, Sausages and Bacon, Pepperoni, Landjaeger and yes Beef Jerky. The quality of the products are fantastic. The service is super friendly and very attentive (see photo). Oposite of the cooler of meats is a wall full of sauces, marinades and other condiments. Oh and one last thing IF you missed them during normal business hours, too bad, but there is a vending machine on the front porch stocked with all kinds of tasty treats. Give them a try.. City boy approved! lol!! Oh and next time I am bringing a cooler to take some on the 90 minute drive home!

The chai latte was reasonably priced and the very berry ice cream was creamy, plentiful and very reasonably priced. The antique section upstairs resembles more like a thrift store and some of the prices were pretty outrageous. However there were some old LP records and antiques and if you are in the lookout for a specific one of a kind piece and have time to browse, I think this may appeal to you. I asked if she had any idea. She said "I don't know as the owner orders whenever she's in the store". ??? Today is 4 weeks later and I've had no contact. Not only was this a gift, it was an order for a pound of chocolate at ~ $35/lb. Don't count on getting a special treat for someone unless they have it in stock. Because the other "half" of this business is about gems & rocks are positioned upon entering & is the main focus of retail sales. I believe the Boehm's chocolate is just a secondary thought & focus. Disappointing since the previous owners retired. Their tradition has disappeared. So sad.... ;(
