I order at least once a week for lunch. La carne molida, Ajaico, lentils and croquetas are my favorite. It's a fresh and best pan de Bonos. I wish there was more traditional Colombian places in brickell but this one is perfect for lunch. I would rate it a 4 because it's taken me a few tries to know what I really like from here. The bandeja paisa is okay. The arroz con pollo is okay. There's a lot of options which is nice. I do think that 50 cents for picante is absurd but it is what it is. It was just like being in Colombia and the food was totally authentic. The empanadas were delicious and the Café con leche was spot on. I had a ham and cheese roll that I inhaled. Additionally, the ladies working behind the counter were sweet, efficient, and made me smile at this early hour. Thankfully La Estacion is one of few establishments keeping this vibe alive in brickell. They have a few tables inside and it's pretty spacious. Order at the counter. They have more substantive food but I'm mostly here for the pastry and cafecito. The tequeños are quite good and the cafe con leche is wonderful to take for a walk by the bay. Located by the last metro mover stop in Brickell. There are two entrances. One entrance only has stairs so if you have a stroller, wheelchair, etc, enter closest to the metro mover. I was suggested by my columbian friend to come here because they have the best pan de bono and she was right. My go to's here are: Tostada: 1)Always made fresh unlike other places who prepare them before hand 2)Cheaper than surrounding spots Pan De Bono: So good! Better warmed up. The cafe was small but clean and the open space looked like it could accommodate a large amount of customers. The ladies were very nice and we worked through our language barriers, each of us having limited fluency. It did make us smile though. La Estacion Cafe has become a go-to spot for my Colombian hubby and I after playing tennis at the Conrad nearby. It's a super casual cafeteria style eatery with lots of options. As we're usually in a breakfast/brunch mood, we usually opt for an array of "Colombian Delights" as they call them. Everything from empanadas and arepas, to tamales and chicharron. One of my favorite treats is the fruit juice, especially lulo. Super refreshing! My husband loves their arepa con huevo. Whatever you get, don't forget to ask for the picante sauce. It costs a little extra but the perfect kick to your eats. We usually walk, but unlike most Brickell spots, there is a parking lot in front of La Estacion that always has spots on weekend mornings. I read reviews almost did not come in here, that would have been a mistake. I can say this was our favorite breakfast in Miami (at on South Beach 2 days as we stayed there). We got there around 9 am and there were several people, including a police officer eating. We ordered and within 15 minutes this place was full. I read reviews of food sickness and if such was the case why would three different police eat here in the span of 30 minutes? I cannot attest to everything on the menu, but we tried! - guava pastry: loved it, 5 stars - Chicken Empanada: a bit dry, 3 stars - Beef Empanada: 4 stars - scrambled eggs, ham, onions, etc., 4 stars. Cuban Toast was excellent - Chicharrones: great, 5 stars - ham and cheese pastry, 10 stars (best thing we ate) - little cheese dough balls, 5 stars We had a few other items (we lost count), a chocolate milk and 2 Cafe con leche and it was around $33 dollars. You have to work hard to get the bill above $10 per person. The telling question, would I eat here again? Absolutely, maybe daily if the chance was there. read more

I usually order La Estacion during lunch at work. I've gone to pick up, as well as delivery through the restaurant. The lunch special is a great price with lots of options. The staff is usually very nice. I always order the grilled fish with onions, white rice, and sweet plantains. The fish is consistently good, some days better than others but usually enjoyable. Great Colombian cafeteria in brickell. Grab your café con leche, pan de Bono, empanadas, and Colombian pastries to go and head back to the office. The staff is very friendly and will be happy to help you. Keep in mind it can get very full, so consider doing cantina and they will cater for 40$ per week.
