They serve breakfast all day which, in my opinion is a plus. . I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito. It was served with what I would guess is this place's version of salsa verde. Didn't knock it till I tried it and boy was that salsa good. It might throw a person off at first because it's kind of yellow in color and creamy but it's very good. The burrito was served with chips and a salsa roja which I thought was a cool touch. The burrito was also very good. Service was great. Establishment appeared to be nice and clean. Their horchata was pretty good too, not too sweet, not too bland. 5 stars I'd definitely recommend. read more

Solid Mexican spot. Food quality is a notch above the typical taqueria. While it doesn't have lengua or cabeza, it offers up a variety of seafood options. The surf and turf burrito was hefty without beans and rice for $17. Only complaint is it's a bit greasy. Good flavors though. Food took a little more time to prepare. Worth the wait. read more

At least 4 stars based on my experience. A good Saturday morning stop. Usually very busy during week. Got the breakfast burrito - was a little disappointed as it seemed pricey, but it was huge! Nice day makes outdoor seating nice! Burrito was very good. read more

This food is amazing! We get the enchiladas every time red or green and they are fantastic. One of the best Mexican restaurants in the culver area without a doubt. read more

I ordered the chile relleno plate and my husband ordered the asada quesadilla, chicharon taco and asada taco via DoorDash. The chile relleno was great, although the rice and beans were just ok - the rice was a bit dry and not what I was expecting. The chicharon taco was very disappointing, we were assuming it would be crispy but it was soft and gelatinous and not very appetizing. Maybe this is something that just doesn't work well for delivery and needs to be ordered at the restaurant. He did like the asada taco and quesadilla. I appreciated that they included five different salsas and chips. We'll give this place another try. read more

I was craving a carne asada wet burrito so I came here, and their prices are great! Only $12.50 for a carne asada burrito and an extra charge to make it a wet burrito, also comes with tortilla chips. Service was okay, and the food was great. There's also a cute outdoor seating area outside. My friend got the California burrito and their Al Pastor is soo good! read more

Lively kitchen with delicious smells and upbeat Mexican music. You can tell this place is a favorite among locals. Prices are reasonable. Parking is easy. There's an outside seating area and a few spots on stools inside. There is no waiter service. I got the Calabecitas burrito read more

The food was not bad but I don't see myself coming back unfortunately. I will say that the breakfast burrito was good but the chilaquiles weren't great. We also tried the coffee and unfortunately that tasted burnt. It's also not in the best location so if you do grab something from here I'd recommend picking up. The staff is amazing however and the service is extremely fast. Food: 3 Service: 5 Ambiance: 3 read more

Such a great Mexican spot! Been coming here off and on and I just had their chilaquiles for the first time DELICIOUS! I normally get their breakfast burrito or asada tacos which are great but these chilaquiles are probably my favorite dish from here. The entire menu looks good and I still have a lot to try on it but it's hard sometimes wince I go when I am craving what I've already ordered from here. It's kind of small inside but they recently expanded outside with a few small tables which helped it feel bigger and now I normally eat there instead of driving home and letting the food get cold. They also have their aguas which I didn't get a chance to try but I definitely will next time. read more

Best takeout tacos in the area!! Their carne asada and al pastor tacos are both soooo good. I am very picky about tacos and the meat and these are incredible 10/10. read more

Came in on a Tuesday to try this place. I ordered the popular carne asada burrito which is just rice beans, onion and meat inside. The asada had good flavor but I got a lot of gummy pieces. The burrito was just okay. You definitely need to put lime and salsa on it to give it some flavor. Salsa are all good but on the spicier side. They have taco Tuesday so that's a plus. Service was great. Took like 15 minutes to get the food or less even. No bathrooms but the place next door lets you use theirs if you say you're eating at la esquina. The nastiest shrimp burritos filled with rice, no flavor and def not worth the price

Worst experience ever made me wait 30 min when I ordered first thing at 9am other orders left brute mine and ordered after me Hispanic cashier has a attitude of you ask for salsa..no receipt given to show how long i waited.. this place gets a 0 in customer service... food is not that great for wait.. read more

Ducked into this spot about a month ago, thanks to the Yelp community, and was not disappointed! AMAZING breakfast burritos, with incredibly fresh and authentic ingredients. Watching the kitchen staff work (yes, you can see it all in motion!) was so impressive. Friendly crew and epic food. My son -- who lives nearby -- has already been back several times! read more

4+ great neighborhood spot/ taqueria. Not a lot of seating - one of those places where you walk in order at the counter and either wait for your take out or sit against the window or one of the few tables outside. The folks here are very friendly and helpful if you need it. I feel like I've been here a few times and they have a great menu, but most recently, I came here for the breakfast burrito. Not a lot of crazy frills, just a good straight up breakfast burrito. It had the usual ingredients and the burrito is pretty darn big. So the value is there for sure. Comes with some salsas as well. Only gripe, and it's not a big deal at all since I don't have the eat them, but some of the chips were a little soggy or undercooked. Otherwise, the chips were nice and crisp and not too thick. The person in front of me ordered the chilaquiles I think, and boy did it look tasty. Was thinking in my head before I left: dang, I gotta come back for that... Parking is very easy since there is a lot. read more

$17 dollar quesadilla. I asked the staff is their parents paid $17 for a quesadilla, they said yes. Go to a real LA spot

Unfortunately, this spot really disappointed me. The service was wonderful - super nice staff and my burrito came out quickly. Unfortunately the burrito was made very poorly. Most of the filling fell out no matter how I held the burrito, and the inside was super dry. The salsa also was not strong in flavor sadly. Great staff though, and great prices as well! read more

I came here with my favorite dining companion after visiting a nearby thrift store. This was an excellent stumble across for a late afternoon snack. The guacamole is tasty and the chips are fresh. The hard shell chicken taco is sublime. There is even outdoor dining with shade that our dog enjoyed. The service is friendly and efficient. If you want an adult beverage, there is a liquor store next door to purchase from and have with your meal. Definitely worth a stop in your LA travels. read more

Corner little restaurant on Venice Blvd in West LA. Easy to order walk up counter inside. We got the breakfast burritos which was healthy in size and offered an enjoyable breakfast meal to-go. Loved the food, friendly staff, convenient location but likely not ideal for sticking around

Everything went wrong with our order, which was meant to be delivered to the home of a very sick friend. But they made the food at the wrong time, ignored the delivery time, then gave US a hard time when trying to fix it. I. Their defense, they FINALLY did, but it was a huge hassle to get there. A very bad experience, though the fact that they DID take responsibility saves this from a one-star review. Barely. read more

Honestly the food was average, but what's pretty annoying is that I took my mom for a nice walk and got lunch here. She got 3 tacos and I got one tinga bowl. We literally spent almost 30 bucks and when we asked for more salsa. By the way the salsa cups were already tiny to begin with. When we asked for more salsa so that we don't have to eat dry food, the guy with the beard who was ready giving off cold vibes, was saying we have to pay 55 cents. It's like dude, get with the times! We ordered from the counter and still tipped! And you can't even give two more salsas? Ruined our experience and I won't be back. So many other Mexican restaurants with an awesome vibe, and even salsa bars lol key note, some people come to Mexican restaurants because they happen to be salsa connoisseurs like myself. Peace out read more

Love love this place. Favorite taco spot in midcity/Culver area. The hard tacos are the business. Only thing I would suggest is add seasoning to the potato taco. Place is amazing. Surf and turf is a perfect burrito. Add the green sauce and die happy.

The best REAL Mexican food In here every weekend almost completed the whole menu the taste is amazing

Hot, fresh, somewhat tasty, and semi-authentic Mexican food, which satisfies your basic Mexican food cravings in a pinch. Prices are reasonable and staff are super friendly! Couldn't give it more than 3 stars because I have experienced authentic, more delicious Mexican food for cheaper elsewhere. Glad to say I've tried this place, but I can't see myself going back. read more

"Hole in wall" in all the best ways! Delicious food choices and all the best. Drinks are solid, service is fast!!

The ratings on here tricked me into ordering from this mediocre LA spot. The chicken burrito was not properly wrapped, there was barely any chicken or sour cream in it, and the spice overwhelmed the flavor. The included sauces weren't very good either and the tortilla chips were flavorless! I was shocked. Ultimately, this restaurant left A LOT to be desired. I'll leave it at that. read more
