With such a stellar reputation on Yelp, I am surprised that he initially tried to pressure me and then ghosted me.

He has a good work ethics, skills, experiences, efficiency and pride of what he did. He was willing to do extra works and corrected things that I didn't like (I'm a picky, choosy, critical one). He always looks serious but has a warm smile and kind heart. He was in control and kept working to get the job done with details. He gave some suggestions to help me make a good decision eg: changed rotten wood for outdoor stairs, repaired 2 yard doors with bondo filler, patched holes on the walls and did touch up on some peeling paints. Highly recommended if you're looking for quality, value, honesty and reasonable cost. He is worthy of respect and appreciation.

I had a small job to texture and paint a portion of my wall that had undergone repair work. My…read morebiggest concern was matching the orange peel texture pattern to the existing adjacent walls in the room. I called several places from Yelp and also several local well known companies. Kariem responded within 24 hours and offered me a good quote and could start the job immediately. Others had quotes all over the place for "painter for a day" and excessive prep and materials. This was a relatively easy job and Kariem and Debbie were friendly and did good work for a fair price. They made the wall look great and the texture matching worked along with a coat of primer. They were a no pressure team and finished the job as quoted for cost and time. Easy to work with and good work.

Tenacious Touch Ups made that happen - and honestly, I'm still impressed. From the very first visit, Kariem was kind, patient, and genuinely easy to work with. A couple nights after the inspection, I was still struggling to choose a paint color (because of course), and I texted him... fully expecting a "we'll figure it out tomorrow." Nope. He showed up that night at 9 PM with a full swatch book so I could finally make a decision. Who does that anymore? The work itself was clean, professional, and beautifully done. Even when the job ended up taking longer because of the rain, the original quoted price stayed the same - no surprise add-ons, no games. A couple days after finishing, Kariem stopped by again to drop off extra paint for future touch-ups. Above and beyond doesn't even cover it. If you want someone reliable, honest, and actually invested in making your home look amazing, Tenacious Touchups is it. My bedroom finally feels like a peaceful retreat, and I could not be happier. Highly recommend.

My job was doing wall and ceiling patches after a plumbing issue / fix. Some of the holes had acceptable undamaged drywall pieces, but also had holes with none of the original drywall. The wall also had texture, which they aspired to match. I still had my paint so they didn't have to get chips to recreate color. Ricardo showed up early to do his estimate, which I do recommend vs the online process. He indicated his team availability and provided a quote. After going through others who were either a lot more expensive (some had minimum job cost requirements) and some others had other things about timing, price, etc, I proceeded to hire Ricardo Painting. Hugo came early the next day and stayed on schedule with disciplined execution. Didn't try to rush - eg rushing mud to dry, or applying paint coats too early. He really wanted to match the wall texture and did a great job. I will know where the repair was, but only ones trying to find it will actually notice. They said less than 2 days, and it was done. Ricardo will remain in my Rolodex for the future.

Ricardo was professional, knowledgeable, on time, and very respectful in our home. I would absolutely hire him and his team again for future needs. Please learn from my mistake and don't hire a random painter to do limewash in your home- HIRE RICARDO! I ended up wasting so much money and time with an amateur- Ricardo knows what he's doing and will be honest about limitations (if any at all). He even checked in after he left the job to make sure I was happy once the paint was fully dried - top notch service and quality.

He had to charge me for that which I had no problem with. He completed the job, and also showed me why the door was off and how he fixed it. He cleaned up and I couldn't even tell that the door trim was removed and reinstalled (despite him not having paint either). Payment was by Zelle. Very impressed with the work and professionalism. I had gotten 3 estimates before I found Miguel and let's just say that Miguel offers extremely reasonable prices. Two of the quotes I received were at least double of what Miguel quoted me. Miguel is easy to communicate with and reviewed all the work I requested. I wanted new flooring, wall paneling removed and smoothed out with new paint, change of all the fixtures and exhaust fan, change the shower door and mirror, and add a recessed light over the shower. He provided the quote and we agreed to a payment plan. He informed me of everything that I needed to purchase on my end and have ready for his team when they arrived. They were punctual and very respectful of the space and clean as well. You can tell Miguel really takes pride in his work and even went above and beyond what we originally agreed to. I also asked him to change out the vanity in the guest bathroom as a last minute request and he was able to help me with that too. Overall, we had a wonderful experience working with Miguel and his team and will definitely call him for any future projects!

Ara showed up on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend and told me what he thought needed to be done. But first he wanted to go to a hardware store (or two) to see if they had the materials necessary. He found them and asked when I wanted him to do the work. I assumed it'd be a week from today, but when I asked if he could do it today he paused, nodded, and said, "Sure."
