I had my house exterior and dining room painted (after removing old wall paper) done by Raffi and 2 helpers. He has a good work ethics, skills, experiences, efficiency and pride of what he did. He was willing to do extra works and corrected things that I didn't like (I'm a picky, choosy, critical one). He always looks serious but has a warm smile and kind heart. He was in control and kept working to get the job done with details. He gave some suggestions to help me make a good decision eg: changed rotten wood for outdoor stairs, repaired 2 yard doors with bondo filler, patched holes on the walls and did touch up on some peeling paints. Highly recommended if you're looking for quality, value, honesty and reasonable cost. He is worthy of respect and appreciation. read more

Use this company a number of years ago on two different houses. I just never got around to writing a review, but happy to write one now. Fantastic job, thorough, reasonable prices. Easy to book, and worked quickly and well. read more

I love working with Raffi. Thorough, on time, competitively priced, a lovely human. He's painted both the interior and exterior of our house at different times and done a beautiful job. I also know what I want color-wise and he's able to steer me toward good shades within the colors I'm going for. Very happy with his work and I like him a lot as a person. read more

We have used Raffi at Brother's Painting for over 20 years. I can't say enough wonderful things about him and the quality of his work. It's not easy to find such a reputable company to work with. Raffi is an expert at his trade and a pleasure to work with. The quality of his work is superior, and he is extremely reasonable in his pricing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! read more

If your job is small and simple, you'll probably be ok with Raffi, if instead it's big, forget about it: He will create the same imperfections over and over again, hoping that you won't notice - He will pretend not to understand what mistakes you ask him to correct, hoping that you'll get tired of asking - He will tell you that lower or higher areas don't need to be properly finished because you normally won't look at them - He will tell you that not all surfaces need to be smoothly finished, because you won't touch them all the time - He will tell his employees to rush the job in order to get finished, to the detriment of quality - He will pretend that something can't be done even though he previously already did it - He will come up with fake technical explanations to justify his shortcomings and when you prove to him he's lying, he'll hang up the phone or leave the job site - He will keep asking you to be paid more for the same job, and even after you agree and pay him more, he won't complete the job and will eventually vanish - He will ask you to be paid cash read more

I once again had reason to find a great house painter, and thank goodness I remembered I'd left a five star review for these folk five years ago. Despite being incredibly busy and having several full jobs to complete before the holidays, the owner made time on a Sunday to stop by to at least assess the situation and provide a quote. I have to say, their extraordinary level of transparency, fair pricing, and putting customers as a top priority just puts them far and above most businesses these days. I would not hesitate to refer these craftsmen for everything from a complete top to bottom mansion (of which they do several in Beverly Hills!), to re-painting and touching up a condominium. MUST-CALL! Thank you. read more

Raffi and his crew were incredibly amazing. I could not have asked for a better experience. They did a great job painting my entire new condo and followed everything direction I gave. Raffi came back to help me put my blinds back up, but I got locked out and he waited with me for hours, until the locksmith finally got in. He didn't have to stay. He took time out of his day to stay because I was a little stressed. BEST PAINTER EVER! read more

Had Raffi and his crew repaint my new condo and they did an amazing job: on time, super high quality work and very reasonable pricing. Raffi was also super patient and helpful while I was trying to choose a light non invasive color that would work in every lighting condition of my home as it gets flooded by sun during the day. We played with multiple swatches until I loved one. Raffi brings that Old World type attitude and is very nice to collaborate with. Will definitely hire him again for all my future painting needs. Highly recommend!.. read more

I originally hired Raffi to paint a couple rooms in my home, and I was so pleased with his work that I hired him to paint the whole exterior of the house as well. He and his team do an amazing job for a very fair price. He's also trustworthy, and committed to doing the best job possible for his customers. The neighbors noticed his great work, asked him for bids, and he has done many of their homes as well. I recommend Raffi highly! read more

My neighbor recommended Raffi on Angie's list reporting his reviews were stellar and cost competitive. Raffi, owner and operator of Brother's Painting, was extremely responsive to our needs, always pleasant and a real pleasure to do business with. He was on schedule and on time throughout the job. His communication quick and accurate and consistently following thru doing exactly what he said he would do. What sets him apart from the pack, is that he is extremely conscientious about the quality of his work going the extra mile for clients so they feel completely taken care of. Raffi is understanding and patient with the indecision that can occur at times on bigger jobs and was willing and able to help with our color choices. We vet our contractors very carefully and have high standards, as does Raffi who hires the best. We are so satisfied with his stellar service, we have already recommended him to our Property Manager and others giving Raffi 5 well deserved stars. read more

Raffi and his crew painted the eaves on my house this spring. It was a bit challenging as I live in a two story building. Daniel and Edgar did a beautiful job. Before I paid, Raffi contacted me to ensure that I was happy with the results. Raffi is a wonderful person and takes pride in the work his company does. I highly recommend Brother's Painting for anyone seeking excellent results with regard to painting projects. read more

I can't say enough about Raffi's excellent work. His fees are more than fair and he always completes the job within the time frame he has promised. We found Brother's Painting through Angie's List because they had posted a featured deal. Three Rooms for $450 (originally $1100) (500sqft or less). We were only doing two bedrooms and a bathroom and measured it out to be 350sqft, perfect! So we buy the deal and wait for Raffi to call. He calls after 9pm, and arranges to look at our space the next day at noon. The next day we wait and wait, at 12:30 he calls and says he is running late and shows up at 1:30pm. The next morning Raffi and his brother show up to paint promptly at 8am - that punctuality was greatly appreciated. First, they do no adequately protect the carpeting and the space they are painting. Halfway through the job, Raffi approaches my husband and I and says "I just wanted to tell you that you are wrong. It is more than 350sqft. It is closer to 700." We were confused and he further explains that you take the square footage and multiply it by two, because as he said "I am not painting your floors I am painting your walls!" Understood, however every estimate we had received was based on square footage as you would normally measure in your house. So with his form of measurement, that means he normally charges $1,100 for 250sqft of house space? That's absolutely unheard of! So of course, we felt like the deal was misleading and he was being rude. Once they left we looked over the rooms they had painted. The first room, it is clear there was only one coat used as we see white areas throughout. We found spots of the bright blue paint on the carpet and drops of the same blue paint on our new white wood blinds. In the second bedroom the windows are coated in tiny spray drops of paint which I will have to individually scratch off. And in the bathroom, there were paint drops on the countertops and mirror. As well as the fact that they had been using our master bathroom all day and left the toilet seat up. In addition there is a blue ring around the drain of our sinks because they were washing their brushes out in the bathroom sink! We took out the plug and it's coated in the paint. The work ethic was simply sloppy. The paint job was, good enough. Between the attitude Raffi gave us, the misleading ad, and the mess they left behind for me to clean, we were left with a generally bad taste in our mouth. read more

Raffi was amazing. He was communicative and gave advice to us first-time homebuyers about quality paint and colors. He was super friendly and kind to my toddler. He even brought us a gift at the end of the job! And, of course, the quality was exceptional!! I'll definitely come to him for any future jobs we need done! I highly recommend him and his crew! read more

Raffi is an amazing professional painter. This man is born with an amazing talent. He can paint without dripping paint anywhere, and he paints a straight line without blue tape. He prevents any mess by always protecting the floors and he is very responsible and honest. If in doubt of what colors to choose from, he will provide professional advice. I watched him work for few minutes where it showed how well he paints based on the way he stroked his brushes and painted the walls with passion. When his work was complete, my house was perfect. I have and will definitely continue to refer him to friends and family. Thanks again Raffi. read more

I had Brother's Painting come to my house and complete a paint and stucco job. They came out and repaired a bunch of cracked stucco areas on my house. They also painted my whole house, including all the trim and surfaces. This included the fascia boards and eaves. They also painted my front door. Raffi and his crew did a lot of work on this job. The service was very thorough, and I thought his team did an outstanding job. the focus and attention to detail by these guys was first class. I'm very pleased and satisfied with their work , and my house looks amazing. I would not hesitate to recommend Raffi to anyone looking today their house repainted or in need of stucco work. Raffi and company are really that good. This is my 2nd review and many months later with regards to another job, but he's great. Hire Raffi to do a straight-forward job. He's like any guy. Lots of filtering of your demands and then he has to make it work on the wall. Give him a chance and I bet you'll be happy. read more

We have had Raffi and his group to do fairly extensive painting on our older house on two occasions. When we moved in we completely changed the interior color scheme. Within a year we asked him to come back for some exterior painting and stucco repair. Both of these jobs were performed professionally, on time, and with attention to detail. Moreover, when there were minor issues to re-address, Raffi did so expediently and cheerfully. We will undoubtedly ask him to do some more work for us in the future. I should add that his prices are competitive. read more

I had been looking for someone to paint the exterior of my house, which involved a lot of patching and stucco repair, and I finally found Raffi through a search on Angie's list. It's not exaggerating to say that all of his positive reviews are right on the mark. Not only this, but he was a true pleasure to work with and remained engaged and professional through the entire process. We found Brother's Painting near the top of the results page on Angie's List, and decided to give them a call. We only needed a small room (nursery-to-be) re-sanded, spackled, primed and painted, and so Raffi handled it himself. He was able to come over the same day I called to look at the room, give a quote, and was able to work within our budget. We set up a time the next week for him to come back, and everything worked out great! He was very professional, the whole job only took him maybe 3-4 hours. Don't be fooled by his no-nonsense demeanor, he's also the sweetest guy. He wished us well with our future son, and he even remembered our due date when he followed up with a sweet card a few days later. read more
