I have never ever had a worst experience with anything in my entire life. This place has seriously no idea what it's doing and I have no idea how it has not been shut down.
I moved to Beverly Hills from San Diego and this school was the closest to my apartment; a mere few blocks, so I thought it would be perfect. I was previously attending a DUI program in San Diego and the transfer over was a fairly simple process... it was the only thing that was simple. The program I attended in San Diego was polished, organized, and was a positive experience. This place was the COMPLETE opposite.
The employees are so unprofessional; they are constantly cussing at eachother, fighting in front of the class, and have literally NO IDEA how to do their jobs. The few classes I attended would be held 30-40 minutes over the time they said it would end all because the staff doesn't know how to do their job and can't sign off on everyone's papers, like it's so hard to put a signature on a page (which I can't believe they still use this outdated practice). There were so many students that they would refuse to give completion certificates to because of the staff's own errors and made up fees. The woman that does the paperwork and "works" the front desk is the rudest, most ghetto, airhead I have ever had the displeasure of being around. She constantly acts like she's 7 years old, even though she's a senior citizen, by throwing hissy fits and openly refusing to do things because she "doesn't feel like it". Dan, the program director, is beyond incompetent. I gave Dan the benefit of the doubt because he is like in his 90's so he's forgetful and oblivious but there comes a point when you need to know that it's time for you to throw in the towel.
This place was so awful that I transferred back to my program all the way in San Diego after about a month. Was the process easy this time? Nope. It took Dan more than a month to FAX (yes, all he had to do was fax my paperwork) back over. When he finally did it, of course it was done incorrectly. It got to a point where it was taking so long, that my program in San Diego let me resume my program (over 20 phone calls later) because even they were sick of dealing with him and his incompetence.
I paid the program in full (which they make you do within the first few weeks because they don't know how to run a business and I'm sure they're in debt because of all their mistakes) but luckily money isn't an issue to me and the last thing I want to do is deal with those miserable, awful people again so I'm just taking the financial hit, which I'm sure I could legally pursue again but I will do anything in my power to not have to be around those people again.
The ONLY positive thing I can say about this place is that the interior is cute. That's honestly the only positive thing I can think of to say about it. Even though nothing they do is updated and modern (the sheet they give everyone for attendance, the fact that you have to mail, yes mail, letters to Dan if you miss a class, and the fact that they don't know how to use phones), the interior is. So if your ONLY standard of a business is that it's cute on the inside, then this place is for you.
This has been a fair warning to anyone thinking about signing up for this school. I wish there were more Yelp reviews so I would've known and I am praying you don't make the same mistake I did. I should've listened to the only other review. read more
