I took 3 driving lessons (6 hours total) with Daniel, he is an amazing instructor. He's patient, knowledgeable, and kind which was very important for me as a new driver. Thanks to his expertise, I learned many handy tips I'll use for the rest of my life as a driver. He taught me visual cues for pulling over, switching lanes, making turns, and parking. The car that Daniel uses is a nice Toyota Corolla, it features brake and acceleration pedals on the passenger side. We eased into driving where he would have me accelerate and brake on the passenger side of the car while he steered, and then we switched spots. Daniel wanted to make sure I was familiar with the basics of maneuvering a car until I felt comfortable enough to drive on my own. I chose to take my test at the Hollywood DMV so Daniel had me practice driving around the area which helped me become familiar with the roads and possible test routes. On the day of my driving test, having that former practice was so helpful because there were no surprises. After 6 hours of driving under Daniel's instruction, I passed my Driver's Test! I had a 10/10 experience with Cornerstone Driving School. After a few lessons I passed my behind-the-wheel test on my first attempt with an almost perfect score, only 2 points, and it was all thanks to Daniel, the instructor. He really goes above and beyond when it comes to teaching you how to drive and turning you into a confident driver. I had not driven in around 15 years and never drove in the U.S, so I was quite nervous before the first lesson. But he has an incredible teaching method that takes your anxiety away, and helps you learn super fast and easily. He took me to the DMV and was there helping me with the check-in and everything. I was able to use his car for the test, so he also made that whole experience much better. He even drove me home afterward, which I really appreciated. I went to Cornerstone Driving School for a driving lesson 2 weeks ago and I had a wonderful experience . I was nervous about going to a driving school again because of my previous experience of not experiencing the kindest instructors but, once I came to this school it was a breath of fresh air. My driving instructor Daniel, was very nice and made me feel relaxed throughout the whole session . Even when I made mistakes such as missing turns, he reassured me that it was okay and continued to make me feel capable . He told me what I could improve on and I practiced some more. Dan is an amazing driving teacher. I had made several attempts years ago to learn how to drive and for some reason I never quite got the hang of it. Dan's teaching process is very effective because he makes you feel comfortable with the car first which allows you to be a lot more attentive to the road. You'll end your classes feeling like a good defensive driver. I had a short time frame for when I wanted to learn and within that I was able to pass my test on the first try. That's because I had a really good coach in Dan. I'm so grateful to Cornerstone and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to learn. I visited their office and spoke to the receptionist. After a long conversation, I signed up for a two-hour class for my daughter to see how she would feel. The instructor showed up on time, and the car was clean. The instructor was very diligent in answering my questions about the classes as well as my daughter's. My daughter was nervous beforehand, but she was certainly put at ease during the class. I ended up signing up for a six-hour package and can say it was worth it. The instructor is was great, he showed up in time and made my classes with him comfortable. I learned so much about driving I felt like I could've passed my test blindfolded.
