But the food did not convince me enough to have me wait again for so long. It was good but nothing spectacular. Probably i am not cool enough. So, what did we eat? Some salmon, with very very dry rice: i did not like at all. Some anchovies with spinach and burrata: this one i liked a lot, i find the alliances of these different ingredients very tasty. A falafel: it was ok, nothing special. Then for dessert, the mini bombe were good and the panna cotta was very good too. To sum up, the dessert were very good but i was not very impressed by the other tapas and even disliked one. Still worth going for this very cool atmosphere (and if you do not mind waiting). The service can be a bit on the slower side, especially when I walked in and tried to get the bill. But still if you're able to get a table it's a pretty quaint wine bar. It seemed like they had some flights/tastings, which would have been an interesting option.

Once a table behind our friends became available, we asked to move so we could sit closer together, but our server, Noemi, wasn't very accommodating and seemed somewhat annoyed by the request. We mentioned that we wanted to share a few dishes and asked about portion sizes, but Noemi didn't explain things clearly and wasn't very friendly. She insisted the plates weren't meant for sharing, which turned out not to be true. The wine itself was excellent, and the snacks were good -- but the overall service from Noemi felt unfriendly and not very customer-oriented. It is very cool to see the different meat hanging from the ceiling in addition to the wine bottles and the cool ambience that they created in the small location. There are a handful of seats available and then there's even a back room with a few more tables to accommodate a few more people. We ordered the seafood paella, the avocado, cucumber and feta salad and the bruschetta will grilled vegetables. All very delicious and the flavours worked really well together! I went inside and complimented the Chef (Manuel) who didn't speak an ounce of English but welcomed the compliments all the same (the waitress managed to translate what i was unable to). Manuel then sent out a small plate of biscotti for us as a sign of appreciation which was just lovely and very unexpected. I have to say that I am surprised that before my review I was unable to find this restaurant on Yelp, but feel incredibly honoured to pop this little baby up here so no one else misses out on the delicious food here! You can get pasta and pizza everywhere, so it is nice for a change of pace. Bravo!

If I get this right, they offer a different "theme" of dishes on different days of the week (closed on Tuesday), from pasta to fish to a foreign country theme (in my case it was the latter, the country being Morocco). So you order an aperitivo and dishes from the special menu. Each dish is only €3 (!!) but then they seem to add a surcharge of €3 per drink during aperitivo hour. Slightly strange concept and very penalising for a committing alcoholic like myself ;-) The Moroccan aperitivo menu consisted of an antipasto option (mixed starter), a primo (cous cous) and a secondo (some meat dish). I had a big lunch so only had the starter (see picture - quite tasty) and took the remaining calorie balance in liquid form. Speaking of which - the cocktail menu offers some interesting options (not all of the classics are listed, but these guys seem to know their stuff, just ask for what you want) and compared to the Rivalta Caffé, the drinks are balanced less sweet here. They have an interesting selection of vermouth, with some labels that are hard to come by outside of Italy. They also understand their bitters, with the likes of Bittermen's, Fee Brothers, Bitter Truth, Booker's and others present. There is also a comprehensive wine list and a menu with some other food options. I will certainly be back!
