There are multiple tables and work areas to use and almost every table will have an outlet attached or within reach. They do not allow any food in the library but drinks are okay- I bring in coffee or matcha without any problems. Reserved rooms are for 2 hours but the wait can be a while so sign up early! The remaining areas are pretty quiet to work in but it does get louder than library noise from 3-5pm on weekdays when the students from the nearby school come in. Bathrooms are clean and it feels pretty safe. Definitely would recommend anyone who needs a place to get their work done.

As you wander further in, the large aquarium connected to the children's section is another standout -- it adds this calm, magical feel to the space. I grabbed a magazine and found a quiet window seat, and those 30 minutes of zero calls, zero texts, zero noise? Pure heaven. I didn't realize how much I missed just sitting and reading without a single interruption. Before heading out, I checked out the psychology and cooking sections, and it reminded me how much I've always loved libraries and bookstores. Instead of using common sense, staff told me I couldn't be in the space without a reservation despite the fact that it was sitting vacant and I had one starting shortly. To top it off, the room before mine had a no-show and still nobody used any flexibility or judgment. Just rigid rule enforcement with zero consideration for the people actually trying to use the space. The library was closed for over a year for a remodel -- and this is the hospitality we come back to. Disappointing. Leadership should revisit how staff interact with patrons who are clearly there in good faith. Plus it looks the same, barely changed a thing. Take a peek for a laugh, but I wouldn't come Here.
