Staff informed me that I was being banned from all public libraries because they believed I had smoked in a study room. This accusation is false. Additionally, when a fire alarm went off, I was blamed for the incident without any evidence and was asked to leave the library. As a result, I received a ban from all public library locations. I do not believe this decision was fair, as I was not involved in any of the actions I was accused of. Also every time I went in I was always looked at even when I turned the corner they will have someone go and see what I was doing even though I'll be on my phone playing my video games or doing my homework every time I looked up there was someone just staring at me and it made me really uncomfortable especially that I am minor my experience at the Michelle Obama neighborhood library was absolutely horrible and I would not recommend unless you want to be falsely accused of and being followed around and stared at.

If I'm sitting at a computer, the person next to me shouldn't be sitting there with filthy papers, tearing them up and making a huge mess everywhere. And lastly CLEAN THE LIBRARY. It reeks in there and the computers are disgusting. The keyboards are visibly dirty. The keys are brown. The security guard was sat at a desk the entire time not patrolling or anything. Do better.

They do not allow any food in the library but drinks are okay- I bring in coffee or matcha without any problems. Reserved rooms are for 2 hours but the wait can be a while so sign up early! The remaining areas are pretty quiet to work in but it does get louder than library noise from 3-5pm on weekdays when the students from the nearby school come in. Bathrooms are clean and it feels pretty safe. Definitely would recommend anyone who needs a place to get their work done.
