They have 2 in particular that are 15 minutes usage time only. I have seen kids go way beyond the 15 minutes alloted time. The staff here have always been helpful whenever I have had any questions. They also do have storytime for kids. It is a great place overall for the family to come to. It's much better to have kids involved in reading books than it is to have them do stupid things in the streets.

Rating: 3.5/5 I came…read moreto Paramount Public Library today to get some studying done. There aren't many pictures online to see the space, but since it's close to home, I decided to stop by. I arrived about an hour after they opened. The library is on the smaller side but offers a fair amount of seating, and each table has charging ports, which is convenient. Everything was very clean, and the bathrooms were spotless, which is always a plus. It was quiet when I arrived, but not long after, it got quite loud with kids. Unfortunately, the children's area isn't separated from the adult study area, which made it hard to concentrate. I understand kids will be kids, but it feels like some parents treat this as a playground for their kids to run around. The sound echoes throughout the library, making it even harder to focus. Another thing to note: while Yelp says this location is closed until 2033, that's not the case -- the library is very much open! If you're looking for a quiet place to get work done, this might not be the best spot. It's a shame because, although small, the library is beautifully remodeled inside. They do offer study rooms, but they aren't first come, first serve -- everything was booked even though no one had arrived yet. I'd probably come back but would consider bringing noise-canceling headphones next time to minimize the activity around me.

The lady who helped me was great no issues. However, the Hispanic lady who was helping my gf was very rude. Prior to helping my gf, she was helping an Asian lady before us and the Asian lady seemed anxious. When she was done with the Asian lady, she called my gf's number. On our end it was our fault for putting the new address on my gf's paperwork because her CA ID/DMV license still showed her old address in Glendale. The lady who was helping her told her that she needed a paperwork to show proof she's living in the Torrance address. I was still in the middle of getting my library card with the other lady who was helping me. I was about 2-3 feet away from the Hispanic lady and my gf. When I heard this, I asked the lady who was helping my gf if we can just change the address so it matches her California ID/DMV, she dismissed my gf and didn't even bother to give my gf a new paper to change the address and said "Glendale won't work" and pushed her papers back to her. She said that because the new hello kitty library card was only for LA county residence. When my gf said "Glendale is part of LA county." She dismissed my gf and said "well do you want your library card?" My gf replied "yes I want my library card." Then she turned around and called the next number (the next person in line). The other employee saw this and helped my gf and gave her a new paper. The lady who was helping me helped my gf after she was finished with me. I get it, we had our own mistake on our end, but being dismissive and rude for a free library card is unacceptable. It's not like we were applying for a house loan or for a car loan. If she didn't know that Glendale is part of LA county, a simple google search or she can ask her coworkers the question. We were trying to get a free library card because my gf likes to read. This lady might have been rude to that Asian lady she was helping that's why that Asian lady looked anxious. You can't be working in a library and try to be quick on things and be dismissive. There are a lot of people who go to the library to learn and who might need more guidance so having a good customer service and being understanding is very important because you have to work with both adults and children. I would only give NO star to that Hispanic lady, but FIVE stars to the 2 other employees.
