Went to La Corona on Sat Oct 19. My husband and I hadn't eaten all day. This was the first meal. We have never been here. And WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. My husband got food poisoning. He had a bean and cheese burrito. I had a cheese enchilada. The service was good. But the beans were not. My husband has suffered since Sat night. He couldn't work today. La Corona is a local family owned business in Red Bluff. Their food is excellent authentic Mexican food. I highly recommend the fish tacos and cheese enchiladas. I also often get the breakfast burritos, so good! Their prices are also much lower than some of the other Mexican restaurants whose food isn't as good as La Coronas. read more

After waiting for nearly an hour, we finally received our food. A plate of nachos and a few rolled tacos. Not difficult. The waitress seemed pissy that we made her work. And then we asked another waitress to refill my glass with lemonade, she brought back sprite. I brought it to her attention and she seemed irritated that I got something else. The food is good. I never have an issue when it comes to quality or portion size. However, the thing I like most about La Corona is the service. Everyone that I've ever come in contact with at the restaurant is very nice and very helpful. They're quick to refill your drink and quick to take your order. They treat you with a lot of respect and they usually have a smile on their face. They actually care if you come back or not, which I feel is missing in a lot of other restaurants these days. I prefer the nachos ponchos. The Carne Asada is amazing. read more

I would say that this place has excellent authentic Mexican dishes at an affordable price. my favorite dish at La Corona would probably be the steak quesadilla its quite big and served with a side of guacamole and fried beans its also cheep i paid $6 for it and could not finish it. the food is always hot and the staff here is nice, they have very good customer service. read more

Been going here since it opened... always a pleasure... and they remember what you order most often and how you like (that is if you frequent and order mostly the same thing). The service can be a bit lax but the food is always yummy. I suggest you try a Sope with carnitas (i minus the sour cream cuz it really doesnt need it) oh and add a side a sliced jalepenos! Yum! Lunch for under $5 - cant been that with chips and great salsa. Their enchalada sauce is some of the best I've ever had so try that too -not with the Sope but with a enchalada. :) You wont be disappointed! read more

Awesome breakfast burritos! I am not usually a breakfast burrito fan but these are delectable - eggs, bacon, cheese, refried beans, and potatoes in a BIG fresh flour tortilla. They will even add chorizo if you want - all for less than $5. We get at least one per week. read more

What can I say, this is the place to be in Red Bluff! You get great food for a great great price and it is darn good! Breakfast burrito huge for 4.79. Battered fish taco pretty big and worth 2.79. Chile colorado meal huge with loads of meat for 9.99 enough to feed two. Place would have gotten my 5 stars if the comp chips with salsa were a bit better (salsa was okay not spicy whatsoever made with canned tomatoes not fresh). Also, they did not offer a salsa roja squeeze bottle to our table (SHOULD GIVE TO EVERYONE) - instead had to use Tapatio or Tabasco. Did not know they had the good stuff hidden behind cashier! Good service, food comes out fairly fast but great quality. Will definitely be back. read more

The service was horrible, took forever for someone to take our order, a long time to get the food and then we never saw anybody again, and its not like it was packed we were the only ones in there. The food was bland and had little flavor at all. I can only assume that the people that prefer to eat here have no idea what Mexican food is supposed to taste like. It was a huge disappointment and I have never been back. There are much better options in town for good Mexican food. read more
